My experience with Children's Orchard Academy raises serious concerns regarding supervision, safety, and administrative response. During pickup on February 5, 2026, my child was visibly distressed and had a facial injury. Staff advised that the injury resulted from another child's physical behavior and indicated that administration was already aware of ongoing behavioral issues in the classroom. I was told that my child would "get used to it." Following this incident, I spoke with the principal, Debbie. At no point was meaningful concern expressed regarding the safety issue or steps to prevent recurrence. The only resolution offered was a refund, rather than an explanation of corrective actions, supervision changes, or safety measures to protect my child. A childcare provider has a duty to maintain a safe environment and to address known risks proactively. In this situation, the response from both staff and administration appeared dismissive, and no clear plan for ensuring child safety was communicated. Parents rely on childcare facilities to prioritize supervision, accountability, and appropriate responses to incidents. Based on my experience and how this matter was handled, I cannot recommend Children's Orchard Academy.
