I took my wife and baby here on NYE, 2017. The black hostess would not let us, a white family, use a highchair for our infant daughter at a booth, despite us having done so in the past. There was a black family using a highchair at a booth about 15 feet from us. We took photos as proof. This is blatant racial discrimination and is unacceptable. The manager was "unavailable". Our waiter told my wife that her taste in cuisine is "wrong". We will never eat at this restaurant or any other restaurant owned by Brinker Restaurant Corporation ever again. Food was just not good at all. The chicken pasta dish was bland was just running with oil and juices. The southwestern roles were horrible. However, my girlfriend thought they were good. We went to this place only because Logan's next door was so crowded. Food was decent; I ordered the full rack of Dr Pepper ribs, and I was sufficiently satisfied. We also got the chips with salsa and guac. Those were good too. The problem is that all our plates were overpriced in my opinion. $17.99 for a rack of ribs and like $10 for the chips. Ridiculous. Our waiter provided good service, but he brown-nosed a little too hard by asking us if everything is ok every 5 minutes. After tip, the meal came out to a little over $65 for a group of 4. I'm happy with this Chili's, especially compared to what it used to be. It probably helps to date one of the shift leaders service-wise, but the food is good and I love the redesign on the menu and the dining room in the past 12 months. I made my mom go back, she hated it previously, but even she's impressed by the improvements they've made. I would definitely feel comfortable taking friends or family from out of town to this location for a meal that is familiar and tasty, and the service is as good as anywhere else in town. read more

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon around 3. There was a wait for tables, but only a couple people at the bar. So, we walked to the bar to sit down. The hostess comes running up to us and chastises us for bypassing her. She says "so there will be 2 in your party"? To which I replied, " we need to be seated by you to drink at the bar?" Unprofessional, took well over an hour for our food, kitchen staff cursed and played near customers. One of the kitchen staff told couple across from us not to tip the waiter cause they asked her for some extra napkins. Chilis has changed so much over the years!! Too much!!! The food seems...fake. I remember loving the fries at Chilis...they used to be seasoned and delicious. Now they are always cold and unappetizing to even look at. The food used to be served in baskets. Now it is served on weird square plates with fries in metal baskets. When we got the steaks back they down sized my husband's to a 6 oz from a 10oz (his ended up the same size of mine) and it was overcooked (super dry). Worst experience. We went on Sunday after church and had high hopes of receiving quality service since there were only three of four other tables with people. Our server was Coco and she delivered the food but disappeared completely after that. We asked the hostess to please ask her to come see us, she never came. We had to ask two other servers to give us drinks and napkins. She showed up 30 minutes later with fresh drinks but at this time we were finished after having to go find our own to go boxes. Our ticket on was also wrong and we told her so she left to go fix that, she did correct one of the two things wrong but after she did not bother to return we just paid the overage and left. Coco obviously doesnt need tips to support herself because she could careless. I will not ever go back to this restaurant. read more

For context, this was an online curbside order. I live about 15 minutes away from the location by car. The ribeye steak was half fat. The cooking was variable throughout the piece, which meant only portions of it was actually med rare as ordered. the edges near the fat were almost rare, and the center was medium, bordering on medium well. It was also so heavily peppered (with black pepper) that I could barely taste the actual meat. The broccoli didn't taste much like broccoli due to the fact that it was drowning in steak juice. It was steamed to death so it broke apart whenever I tried to spear a piece with my fork, and at least one piece was half-yellow and underripe. The loaded mashed potatoes tasted remarkably like wood-shavings flavored with potato (reminded me of old school instant potatoes), the cheese was unispiring and the bacon tasted like bac-o-bits. The garlic toast had absolutely no garlic flavor, and was spongey and slightly chewy, sort of like liberally buttered cheap texas toast. I ate all of this only because I was extremely hungry. I'm very disappointed, considering I used to love this Chili's location, partly because the food was really good and because they were really kind (and gave me a free root beer while I waited for my curbside order 2.5 years ago because it was 110 degrees out), and I used to go pretty regularly. read more

They have had good bar tenders and servers but the constantly loss them because of dum decisions today they have decided to stop filling up beers. my friend and i went during a super busy night, and were a little concerned about the wait time (45 minutes). however, we were able to hang out the bar area (self seating) and find a booth rather quickly. the staff immediately cleaned it from the previous people, and continued to be super attentive and nice the entire time. we forgot how busy the restaurant was because our waitress was so super friendly and kept checking back with us to make sure we had everything we needed. i am not usually over impressed with chilis, but our night out was fantastic!! read more

Usually love this place. Last time we were there, we had an unpleasant experience, and issues with the BOH manager. I talked to corporate about it, and was told the general manager of this location would call me back. He did so the next day, in which I missed his call that he made on his personal phone. I called back, and he answered. It was kinda I told him who I was and he was very apologetic. He told me he wanted to make it up, and was sending something by mail. After we were shown our table, I watched as 3 more parties were seated, had their drink orders taken and delivered and still no server to my table. Eating at my local Chili's is like a little piece of home. I miss Texas and since Chili's originated in Texas I am able to savor a little of bit of Texas flavor every time I eat there. No one else in Augusta knows how to make nachos and biting into Chili's Kickin' Jack Nachos makes me smile! The Chili Hotness is the new wave hitting town. When you stop by, take a dip in some smooth Queso or tingle your taste bugs with the Southwestern Eggrolls. Then if you really want a crowd pleaser, I recommend the smoking hot baby backs (numerous flavor selections available). Nothing can top off dinner like a huge mountain of Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie; it is to die for. And of course you can't leave out the thirst quencher. WARNING: FRAUDULENT CHARGES!!!! Main problem I had was that I went there for a Veterans day meal and ended up tipping about four TIMES the amount I was billed because the meal was good and they were very busy! I find out today that they had changed my total on my debit card to reflect a mistake that I had clearly marked thru with the correct number!!! I wasn't a shitty, ungrateful customer who tipped poorly! I tipped rather well, (almost $12) just to have the manager tell me that he would credit my debit card and he'd deal with it. I told him that this was not a simple mistake, this was INTENTIONALLY done. He refunded me the overcharged amount and said that's it. The manager sure does a good job shielding his employees and excusing their behavior! I will NOT go there and will recommend that all my friends, family, co-workers not go there either because they will rip off any service member that comes in hoping they overlook their fraudulent charges. read more
