I'm sorry Chili's, but your service is slow. We weren't greeted immediately and waited five minutes for someone to come check us in. The food order took 45 minutes and it wasn't very good. They forgot our side for my son's meal who is six. The restrooms were a bit dirty and smelly. As a chain restaurant, I feel they should do better. What a disaster. We love chilis but don't have one close to our house so when we saw this place right outside our hotel we knew we just had to visit. Where do I start? Absolutely no dipping sauces with my burger. Not even ketchup. The triple decker was actually a double decker - no dips there either. The menu didn't say that the sliders come with bacon that was an absolute waste. We carried out so we couldn't get anything fixed. The service was slow and the food was definitely lacking main items. Surprisingly great service and food, far better than that of what we get in the states. The service was great; our drinks were continually refilled. The food was absolutely delicious. The ribs were well seasoned and sauced. The potatoes were cheesy and the asparagus was delicious. My only complaint which isn't truly a complaint, is the fibrous part of the stalk was left on. They just need to snap the asparagus to get the hard part off. Outside of that, it was still great and didn't change my opinion of the meal. The chicken was moist and cheesy also. The chips and salsa are exactly what you expect when visiting Chili's. Nothing wavers from that so we always enjoy the bottomless chips. I've got absolutely no complaints! read more

Visited the restaurant for my son's birthday meal celebration. Must clarify that I'm a 20+ year customer of Chillis. In this recent (and last) visit, the only good thing was the service. Waiter was excelent. The meal quality and portions were trully disappointing, to say the least. I understand that prices and costs have increased everywhere and I don't mind paying more for my food as long as the same is a tasty, good quality food with acceptable portions. This was not the case here. Quality and flavor was below acceptable, and the portions were almost half of what it used to be. My meal was a dry Monterey Chicken breast, half the size of the customary chicken breast they used to serve. Salad was bland. We also had a Sirloin that was hard as a shoe sole. Tonight was dinner with my sisters. The waiter was extremely slow. We ordered drinks and it is taking a while. We still dont have our water. The table next to us just got up and walked out. However this establishment is lucky to have a great waiter that was super awesome, friendly and great personality; but was limited in his powers to deliver the expectations when it came to food quality. And to have it happen on my vacation too is even more disappointing I ordered the Avocado sirloin. It looked nothing like the presentation. The steak was poor quality, the avocado was rotted on parts, the salad was not fresh it was welted. My steak did not even have the Chimichurri sauce on it! I had to ask my waiter to go get me some. 5 stars because I've eaten at Chili's in the States quite a few times, and this was by far the best and fastest service I've had at one. Near Isla Verde most restaurants rip off tourists with over priced "local" food. Chili's will give you the biggest bang for your buck after you are sick of paying for mofongo.
