Chilis is one of my favorite places to eat. The big smasher burger is my new favorite hamburger here. The burgers always taste juicy and are very big. The chicken sandwich is another close favorite. The chicken tasted juicy and tender. The servers are super nice here and are understanding. The food is always delicious and the deals are pretty good. The environment is always clean and welcoming. I'm not sure who took my order today but if you don't wanna work in the food industry just go apply somewhere else , to begin with I ordered over the phone and when I show up you only had HALF my order correct, I still had to wait for my fries then I get home and I asked for no pico on my pasta that doesn't mean I want chicken bland as hell, honestly I love chilis and this is the worst service I have received and for it to not even be busy and still mess up I don't think he was paying attention.. shows you really care about the customer read more

I wish I could say this place was great, but no! Average and mediocre quality of food. Absolutely no bang or excitement in any of this. Service was fine and as expected. The wait was not too bad but we opt to sit in the bar area. Our waitress was very attentive at the beginning and accommodating to gma. We had ordered drinks at the bar while waiting... then we were sat and this is one of the biggest bar areas for a Chilis, I have been in. They played the 1st SF Giants and Dodgers game on most every TV in the bar. We ordered our food, shrimp fajitas, boneless wings and a burger with sliced avocado. I would say 9 out of 10 times I ask for "extra ranch" I never get it... so I half expect it (happened this time 10/8/21) but also the burger didn't come with avocado. Knowing they were busy, we just waited to be checked on... after a good 5-8 minutes of not seeing our server in sight, I checked the computer to see if there was a "call waiter " button... then got up and asked the host to track down our waitress. I forget what the upcharge is for avocado, but once she arrived at our table and we informed her about avocado she came back with 3 little slices. My wings were very saucy and cooked perfectly. GMA loved her shrimp fajitas and was able to take the rest as left overs. Not sure if i would.come back to this location by myself. I mean I love the Chilis franchise but it seemed like service was a bit all over the place. The bathroom was completely empty of supplies... it is amazing that as busy as they were that should be a consistent check... GMA informed the server and the next visit had toilet paper stocked. was there for twenty minutes the only person to say hello to me was the manger who took my order after I was upset. no one brought me anything because no one asked if I needed anything. I finally received my drink and I needed a straw so I waited and tried to wave to three rmployees who all convientaly didn't help me. and finally to get the bartenders attention off his phone and the convo with his friend also working I had to shout excuse me. i had to ask three separate times and make a hand gesture for them to hand me a straw. no silverware no napkins. wasnt busy it's 1:20 on a Sunday afternoon. read more

Haven't ate here in a while, usually lunch. We opted for the 2 for 25 deal and it was filling and delicious. We had the mango grill chicken and sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken had rice and broccoli . The waiter and bus boy were excellent and very courteous! We complimented our dinner with Pinot noir...not bad for a very select list of wines. The bar top was sticky and they ran out of the happy hour beer after 2 pints :-( The manager "Hector" came around to see if "everything was ok" and then walked away as we voiced our concern with how they ran out of a happy hour drink. He stated, "everyone is drinking too much"! We looked around the bar and counted only two of us Maybe the restaurant as a whole was ordering but it seems to me that if you have a "happy hour item" then the management makes sure they stock the demand. The bar tender "Cindy" was awesome! She was very nice, helpful and service was top notch!! Way to go Cindy! I wish your manager took some tips from you. Oh and, the temperature was down right hot! I feel God in this Chili's tonight. That's what I said when took a bite out of my honey Chipotle chicken crispers. If you've been to a Chili's before then you already know what it is when coming here. This particular location is always packed. It has to be one of the most packed restaurants in the valley, yet the service is always excellent. I heard rumors that it may close down soon which I hope isn't true because it's the only chili's in the valley. Closing the location down would lower the value of el centro. If you are coming here to eat I highly suggest getting it to go because sometimes you can wait 30+ minutes or more waiting for a table. The to go is much faster. If you're craving something other than Mexican food in the valley I suggest you come here. It won't disappoint! read more

I had a good experience at this Chili's. I went to get one drink and dinner. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas with chips and salsa. The drink I ordered was the montly margarita for $5 and was way bigger than I expected. The chicken was very tender and the steal was good. Next time I'll probably just get the steak. Their service was quick! I placed an order 10 minutes before closing time for a pick up. Shrimp fajita and their amazing salsa with chips. I ordered with Presidente margarita to go but doesn't taste the same as having it in a shaker. They should provide that. It may sell better and taste better with it. Several month's ago I placed a order to be delivered. The order was for two sirloin steak dinners with drinks. The delivery was fine, however the drinks were missing. My wife opened the bag, the dinners were not there. The bag contained two cheese fries that looked old and nasty. I called Chilis and spoke a gentleman who said he gave the delivery driver the wrong order. The gentleman said he would redo the order but I would have to pick it up. I told the gentleman I had no way to pick up the order and requested a refund. I was told to go into Chilis and speak to a manager. My wife and I did so. The manager said she would forward the paperwork to the corporate office. We have not heard a word since. The service here is horrible host at front tell us 15 minute wait then turns to 30, finally we go to get seats and they give our seats to the wrong people and say they can't do anything about it and now we have to wait for other hour. As we're leaving a manager comes running out and gives us 30 dollars in 6 different gift cards. What a waste of time, money, and gas. Probably the last time eating at Chili's for my family and I. The temperature was extremely high when we walked in from the start. You would think that with it being over 115 degrees outside the central air would be circulating but that was not the case. Secondly, our toddler's food didn't come out for another ten minutes after my wife and I had received ours and the worst part about it was that our son's food was cold. So with that being said I gave my son my food since we did not eat until he received his and asked for a new dish. From beginning to end this experience was terrible. Lastly, the chicken tenders were rock hard and my son could not even bite them in half. This place was open spaces when my friend and I came in. We enjoyed the happy hour and chips. We ordered guac and salsa. The place did get crowded when we were half way done. I've never had a bad experience at chili's until today. I ordered for my family today around 4:30pm for my food to be ready by 5:15pm through the website and chose the delivery option. I live a few hours away so my parents went to go pick it up and when they went to talk to a worker they took my name but there was no response after. I ended up calling the restaurant and was told that the website was lagging so it was giving customers the wrong wait time. I understand we are in a pandemic and it's a busy weekend, but if this was an occurring issue shouldn't they try to fix there isn't any misinformation for both the workers and customers? Anyway, after waiting about an hour and a half, my parents call me to tell me they finally got their order, but that the worker didn't even know the name for my order and ended up giving the wrong order. It upsets me because I paid extra to receive certain items, but ended up getting a completely different order. Again, I understand it is chaotic out there but at least try to get the orders right? Or try to be more communicative to customers too so there is no mix-up on both ends. I've used online delivery for a different chili's and this has never happened so I'm not sure if it's only El Centro's branch, but I just hope you guys can really step it up so other customers will not be faced with this issue. read more

Wow, just wow!! This has been the first Chili's restaurant with the best customer service from beginning to end. Super great experience and great tasting food. Saul, the bartender was on point of all drinks ordered from my husband and I. Every other chili's we've been too seemed like they wanted to get us drunk with the first drink. Let me tell you, NOT HERE! Food was very delicious and exceeded our previous experiences. Brought us out drinks that had lipstick from the previous customer on it. Flagged down a waitress to get a clean glass and she gave us attitude about it. Wings were cold....not quite frozen but cold to touch. We come to this place about once a year because we forget why we don't like coming to this one. Had a really good experience today when we went here for lunch. The waiter was so friendly and accommodating. (I forgot his name, but he had a ponytail). We were shocked at how good the service was. Our foodo was perfect. Everything was freshly made and hot. The meals came out at the perfect time. In addition to some more training for the cooks on the dangers of undercooking food, please add some training for managers on customer service. It wasn't very busy and I ordered a salad with shrimp... the shrimp was clearly raw and gray. When I sent it back I didn't want anything else because honestly, I was a little grossed out considering I was already trying to ignore how I had to wipe off the sticky table with chunks of hair on it when I sat down. You can go to any restuarant in El Centro and I guarantee you won't get as good of service as at this Chili's. To be honest there is not much to compete with in terms of service here in the Imperial Valley, but at least this Chili's is keeping their standard. Ok, I know this is just Chili's but I have to give a shout out to some of the best service I have ever had. Karla, my server/bartender was kind, attentive, and gave some of the best service ever. I love the crispy chicken tacos, which are no longer on the menu. When I asked her about them, she went out of her way to ask the cook if he could make them... And they did! Not only did she check back to make sure everything was ok, she was so friendly! It's hard to find good service these days, especially somewhere like Chili's. Went to chilis tonight , our server was extremely rude and didn't really care about us. it took 20 minutes to get a beer and the beer was hot and tasted old. They didn't have root beer . Anytime we asked for a refill it would take over 10 minutes. We had to ask a manager to take our order because the server wouldn't come back for a while. we got chips and salsa and the chips were way under cooked. Chili's is a great place to enjoy a nice meal or drink with friends or family the food is basically the same if you have ever been to Chili's elsewhere but the service is grade A. My drink always gets refilled without asking food comes out nice and hot in a timely manner and I am always greeted with a smile. Road food. Good enough. Good service. Clean, agreeable- but road food. Sometimes you have to stop for food while on a road trip- this was one of those occasions. It is far enough away from the actual freeway that it doesn't feel like a road-stop, which is nice- felt more like a locals lunch spot. The service was prompt, the Tortilla Soup was very well done. They now offer flat bread (all the rage all over it seems), which was well prepared. I had the chicken avocado sandwich which was well prepared and served hot. The flavor is about what you expect- I cannot give it a 4th star because I am not a fan of this style of food and given a choice, I would not eat there. It was a place of convenience only.
