When we first walked in the restaurant, we were greeted right away and taken it to a booth with a very wobbly table. We asked for a different booth and ended up seating us at another nearby table and when we looked underneath, you could see that they are using napkins to keep the table stable. They really need to have someone come out here and just stabilize the tables in a professional manner. We came here for the three for me special. My husband ordered the sirloin steak. It comes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, but he decided that he'd rather have asparagus instead of mashed potatoes. He picked the chicken enchilada soup for his appetizer. I ordered the bacon and chicken quesadillas without the bacon and tomatoes and I picked loaded baked potato cup of soup for my appetizer. They put bacon on my soup. I didn't even realize that it came with bacon, so that was my mistake, but you think the waiter would've said something to me since I ordered the quesadilla without the bacon. The food was excellent. The portion sizes were definitely large enough for the price. Since we are a Rewards member we selected the chips and salsa for our free starter. The restaurant is cozy and warm and very clean. Since the last time we were here, it looks like they updated the kiosks on the table. They are smaller like a cell phone instead of a large tablet, which is a good change. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend you come here if you're looking for a nice warm restaurant in the winter where you can take your time to eat. I like that they have music playing in the background. I can hear the person at at the next table talking, but I can't understand what they're saying, which is OK with me. My husband and I visited this Chili's location for the first time recently, and overall we had a pretty good experience. I had not been to Chili's in quite a while, so it was a nice change of flavor. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived, we were seated right away at a two person booth. The restaurant looked clean, and our waiter was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I had been craving Chili's mainly because I wanted to finally try their sauced mozzarella sticks, so we ordered the three piece Nashville Hot Mozzarella Sticks as our appetizer. They looked great when they arrived, and while they were pretty good, they did not quite live up to my expectations. The outside was a bit dry, and they did not have much spice to them at all. Honestly, they tasted more like the oil they were cooked in than saucy. I am glad I tried them, but next time I would stick with the classic mozzarella sticks instead. For dinner, I ordered Alex's Santa Fe Burger. The burger was flavorful but very messy, and I felt the spicy Santa Fe sauce was a bit overpowering. The jalapenos, cilantro, and guacamole worked really well together and provided great balance, so if I ordered this again, I would probably skip the sauce and just stick to the other ingredients. My husband ordered the traditional bone-in chicken wings, all tossed in buffalo sauce, and he really enjoyed them. They were cooked well and he enjoyed the sauce. To finish the meal, we shared a slice of the Reese's Peanut Butter Pie. We do not often order dessert, but this one was absolutely worth it. It was rich, indulgent, and packed with peanut butter and chocolate flavor, making it the perfect way to end the meal. This Chili's has been around since I can remember, and I feel like maybe it deserves a review reset? Like nowadays Chili's is the hottest chain in town and cheaper than going out for McDonald's! Of course the star is the 3 for Me deal. And this will sound like an ad, but when you get a soup/salad, fries, drink, and a burger for $11 when a Big Mac meal is $10, it really starts shifting your perspective on things. Oh, and can't forget the free chips and salsa by joining their rewards, and of course the $6 margs for when we want to spice things up a bit. You're not going to get the best burger in the burbs or anything - in fact, their burgers are smartly designed to mimic the Big Mac and QPC, and Chili's versions are definitely a step up from them. But nothing I've had here has been bad, and really you're here for the fun vibes only a family restaurant chain can provide. Can't believe they got rid of that beefy skillet queso though... Service has always been good, and we've never had to wait long even with a big party on a Saturday night. Had an enjoyable family meal at Chili's while visiting Chicago. They no longer have the value-packed 2-for-20 meal on their menu, but was still able to get good value from their 3 for Me specials. Chili's is one of those restaurants that we've visited many times and tend to keep only the great memories from it...maybe overblowing its consistency and value. We had a free Monday night for dine-in dinner after the kids finished their work, so we drove to this nearby Chili's in Schaumburg. It wasn't too crowded and we got seated right away in a booth. Rosie was our excellent server, and came with waters and our free chips and salsa's soon after. I was determined to get value for my portion of the meal, so focused on value portion of the menu. Oldtimer with Cheese ($10.99), with french fries, a coke-zero, and cup of baked potato soup. It was solid, with the baked potato soup being good as always, and the burger being big and filling. The skin-on fries were good, crispy on the outside. 6 Oz Classic Sirloin ($16.99), with side of mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, drink, and cup of baked potato soup. My wife remarked how good the broccoli was (large pieces, steamed just enough to produce the al dente bite). The steak itself wasn't great, a small grisly piece, but still edible. The large scoop of mashed potato was very thick and tasted just like the baked potato soup, just a lot thicker. Fajita Trio for Two ($40) - daughter and son-in-law split this, and it turned out to be a bit disappointing for them. The shrimp was smaller, the beef was skirt steak, served medium. I got one taco from it, and it tasted good to me, but wasn't as good as I remember, with the pepper and onions providing a bit of texture contrast. The accompanying accoutrements (cheese, pico, sour cream) was tiny, though I'm pretty sure they would have given more if asked. Guac doesn't come with it anymore (unless added for extra) The monthly marg special was a lemon drop ($6) and we got two of those. It was very well made, and was generous with the tequila. There was enough food for all of us so no room for dessert (easy to add a cheesecake slice or mini lava cake for $3.99 to the 3ForMe to complete a 3 course meal) My son-in-law paid via the tableside kiosk, and because we didn't use any specials, the total was correct the first time. I wish I could rate this 0 stars. My friends and I arrived at 7:40 and got our order taken at 7:50. Two other parties came after us and the second party got their food immediately. We only ordered two triple dippers. Our server was just laughing and making the drinks in the back, but the drinks weren't going out to the tables? Frustrating experience to say the least. Front desk did well timing the wait time to get seated with our party of ten for a Saturday evening dinner. We got seated in a timely manner and the server took a little while to greet us. We got our drink orders placed and the server proceeded to give us to-go plastic utensils at our table which was odd. We noticed all the tables around us who were seated before and after us were given regular utensils. We also finally placed our food orders and asked to have the bottomless chips and salsa. The server told us they completely ran out of chips for the entire night. We found it again odd since it was 7:30pm on a Saturday night for dinner to have ran out of chips. While we were waiting for our food, we saw two tables of four who were sat after our table recieve chips and salsa. We had asked our server if there were chips available again, and she told us no. When we told her that we saw the tables next to us get chips and salsa, she then asked her manager. Another server came to our table to tell us chips will be at our table within 5-10 minutes. Chips and salsa came after we all were more than halfway done with our food. I ordered the 10 oz sirloin off the guiltless menu and both the steak and asparagus were extremely overpeppered. The host was super nice, they have so many tables and booths available and they sit every one and the same area. The place is super lonely and the waitress never made it back after she dropped the food off to check on refills or how everything was. Both my boys got the chicken crispers and they are horrible. The chicken is super rubbery you can even bite into them. That was a waste of two meals worth $16 dollars a piece. The fries super hard seems like they fry them five times and super super salty. The rancher burger super disgusting choice I made. It's super greasy and it the same as a baconator from Wendy's with ranch sauce. I also ordered a triple dipper with egg rolls, mozzarella bars and boneless chicken wings. The southwest egg rolls were okay. The boneless chicken were rubbery so that was good going to waste. Speaking of remembering, I still remember the very first Chili's experience. It was the Chili's at Village Crossing and I had the chicken quesadilla. This time around, I had the spicy shrimp tacos. Three come in an order along with rice and beans. The shrimp tacos came in a flour tortilla, and came with some coleslaw, that was not too goopy, queso , which I opted out of, and a nice slice of avocado. The shrimp, although it was described as spicy, was not at all. Overall, very delicious. The rice that came with it was about a cup's worth and the beans was in a bowl of its own. Price was decent at around $12. Service was good and the overall experience was fantastic. They have table kiosks where you can pay for your meal, where you can split the check even. This is the first time at this location. I'm not from around here. I was staying at a nearby hotel. I walked to Chilis to get a bite to eat. Not 15 mins in I got some "manager" lady touching my back and shoulders. Followed by a "How is everything?" This touching went on for three more times, four times total. She touched me and the guy next to me. It was awkward and not wanted. I did get a picture of the lady if any upper management wants to know. Bigger lady , dark hair and I think glasses. This is my first time at this location considering I'm not from Illinois but I guess Chili's customer service is just trash everywhere. We waited a couple minutes for the chips and salsa and then another couple minutes for our side salad but the table that just sat down next to me has their chips and salsa and their soup fast than I got anything. I'm still waiting for my entree.. Table next to me just got two salads.. we still have no food. She came over and said we would be next and still not next.. She just cane over and told us they have a bunch of party platters so that's why they're slow and it's up to us whether we stay or go. What kind of stuff is that to say to a table? I've been here for over a half hour and now you're telling me it's up to us if we want to stay or go after we've had salad and chips and salsa! How rude! This is their version of Cajun Chicken Pasta. Definitely not what I was expecting! Off the menu: Grilled chicken, penne in Alfredo sauce, topped with chile spices, Parmesan, tomatoes, green onions If this is the Alfredo sauce than it's horribly watered down to the max! It's more of a ton of butter mixed with Parmesan Cheese! Just a few bites and my stomach already had enough butter for a month! And mixed with globes of Parmesan isn't a good combo. Chicken was blan, seasoning on it was just a decoration, no flavor! I was in the area and yelped to find a quick bite to eat besides fast food! I saw the 3 for $10 and was excited when I seen the Cajun Pasta on it! I was thinking TGIF's version. Most places that offer it are very similar to one another. Not chilies! Guess. You get what you pay for! Definitely won't stop again! I'm surprised that this places currently has low reviews, maybe we came on a good day. Actually, we came at night for a late dinner around 9:30 pm. In the past, from experience of trial and errors, I've learned that a restaurant's level of customer service & good quality is a direct relation to how late you arrive for dinner time. A lot of places seems to stop caring about how their food tastes and the wait staff seems to have mentally punched out by the time they your order when you come in for a super late dinner (after 9 pm). I was kind of shocked at how our experience at this place was actually very pleasant yesterday. My waiter was friendly when he took our order and never rushing us. And after we sat down, about 10 other people came in and filled about 4 other tables, by then it was well past 10pm. I felt like the place just got livelier on a Friday night, everybody is eating here! Well, I can see why... The food was very good. I may depends on what you order but here is what we had and my ratings 1-5. We had the $20 deal for 2, where we share a half-sized appetizer and got 2 full sized entrees. As a bonus we also ordered 1 more appetizer. 1) Margarita Flatbread: 5! Must try app! See my photo which does it pretty good justice. It was warm with the right amount of flavor. I actually wished I had more to chomp on after we were through. 2) Chicken Fajita: 4! Soft and tender sliced pieces of chicken, the onions were very nicely caramelized and juicy. The salad toppings were fresh and it all made for a great meal. 3) Boneless Chicken Tenders: 3. These were a bit spicy and salty for my taste, it was overwhelming the senses so I couldn't really taste the flavor of the chicken. It was semi tender, but I've had better. 4) Mango Chili Tilapia- 4. Very good, moist and full of chili favor. This is not for someone who can only eat mild, it is HOT spicy! It was great to eat with the rice pilaf and over all satisfying. We ate here at least once a week before Covid-19. Today we decided to get delivery to our car, and while the service was great and on-time, the meals left a lot to be desired. I had ordered two half-slabs of ribs, one with honey-chipotle and one with their original sauce. We got two half-slab rib dinners (last I heard a half-slab is six and sometimes 7). Our half-slabs had 5 ribs, and were cut from the end where the longest rib was 4" and the shortest 3". The honey chipotle was correct, but the Original sauce I ordered was made with the BBQ sauce. I also ordered loaded mashed potatoes and got cold fries instead. And the black beans were 80% liquid and almost no beans. I've had black bean soup that had more beans in it. We were told the bar area is closed as they are short servers and there is a 20-25 min wait. Sat about 10 min and 4 groups ahead of us. I went to Chili's on 5/18. I ordered online and it said it would be only take 20 minutes for Togo, I get there and wait for 30 minutes and after waiting I walk in to the Togo to realize many other patrons we're waiting as well. It took an hour to receive my two 11 piece wing meals. After waiting an hour to receive my food I go to eat it half way through the meal I take one bite out of a wing and come to find out it is RAM in the center when I find this out I point it out to my wife and ask how her wings were. When she didn't want to eat the rest of her wings because seeing mine was raw I go and cut open all of her wings to find out 3 of her wings were raw as well! I call the chilis to tell the manager and I was put on hold for ten minutes then hung up on! I recall and the shift manager Vince picks up the phone and I explain to him what happened and he puts me on hold again to answer in the office. After that I proceed to ask for the chilis corporate number and he says he cannot give it to me since he didn't know it! I can understand being busy on a week night and delaying my order however I do not accept the fact that after waiting that long I was served RAW chicken in both of the meals. read more

6/2021 First time back dining in the restaurant. Great experience. Only negative was it was a bit cold sitting by the windows under the A/C. But Chad was a super server and helped out a lot. Very accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed his service. Hope to have him again in the future. 1/2021 Once again they earned my business. The hostess was great. It's rare that I'm disappointed with a place's food as I was with Chili's. But I gave it 3 stars because everything else was alright: Pros: + good amount of parking + relatively easy to get to + good area (and on a corner) + staff was very friendly & helpful. There were 5 of us, one being a relatively disabled woman, so we needed to move to a lower table (stool area fits 5 fine, but they were too high for her). The manager and helper fit together 2 tables with chairs so we could all fit fine. +server was great. Knowledgeable about the food, helpful, gave good reviews for a burger place down the street, and respectful. + loudness wasn't much, conversation was easy. + good temperature, even at night during sub-degree weather, by the windows. Cons: -Their burgers are hyped up as being great ground beef, 100% angus (or something), and given a full page to promote them. I was able to get a Turkey burger alternative, expecting it to be ground turkey --it wasn't. Instead, the turkey burger was just one of those frozen patties, like what you can buy in a box at Costco. Terrible! Unless with a group again, I won't be returning to Chili's. And of with a group, I won't be getting another turkey burger. read more

The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was simply appalling. The menus were dingy and grimy and DIRTY!!! The ledge near the booth was also disgusting but what topped it off was when we looked at the hanging lamp above our table and saw God-knows-what wrapped around the lightbulb (paper, toilet paper, who knows??)... I went and got the manager. He was apologetic and tried to rectify the situation. We asked to be moved to a different booth and he then had the hostess, who wasn't pleased with her "new" job, wash/clean all the menus. It's difficult to give this a poor review. I come to this chili's often because it's right by my house. Every time I come to the to go area everyone looks at me and ignores me and this includes the managers. Yes....the managers, so they can't blame their staff only. There was a lady with red hair (manager), has ignored me before. I believe another manager is Latino male and just came to the register and ignored me as well.. The food is OK, but the service needs improvement. At least greet me. I'm trying not to think this is a racial thing. Also if you order a steak and they are busy it will come out over cooked. I've had that happen every time to the point that I've come to expect it, so I cut it right in front of them. I don't even get angry. The previous manager thanked me for my patience last time, but only offered me a soda. After I had to wait 15 more minutes for my food to be cooked. I had this crazy craving for nachos today so I decided to come here for dinner with one other person, thinking that they had to have nachos on the menu. They did. The nachos weren't what I expected & it didn't seem like there was any beef like it said on the menu, so I let one of the guys bringing us food know. I think he was the manager? He explained that there is a bit of beef in the queso, but if we didn't like it, he could bring us a new one. I told him that it wasn't what I expected & he fixed it right away & brought us a new one with ground beef in it. Still... everything was so salty! I think most things were meant to be bar food tho so I kinda understand, but still. We weren't drinking so it was very salty. The fried pickles were salty, nachos were salty, cheese curds were salty, the Buffalo chicken on the salad was salty, the steak & carnitas was salty. The fajitas were actually really good. It's something I always order when I come here. If it weren't salty, it would be even better! I also liked the cheese curds, except the powder sprinkled on top was salty... I drank 2 full mugs (cups?) of water & ran out at the end of the meal. That's how salty everything was! Other than that, the service here is great. Our server was really nice. I liked her. The manager that helped us out was great too. Next time I'm here, I'll def order something with less sodium. Plus there were a bunch of drinks I wanted to try on the menu so I'm sure I'll be back. Also, be careful with that touch screen thing on the table. Our server had blonde/light brown mid length hair and was wearing glasses. An older lady. She gave us dirty silverware and had an attitude for no apparent reason as if she did not want to be there. We ordered the you pick any 2 combo that comes with fries, corn on the cob and your choice of meats- we asked for 3 ranches and she had an attitude about that was well and purposely brought out 2 ranches. Once we were done eating, she asked if we were done and was trying to set up the tablets for us to pay but it was taking a while cause some of them were not working (totally okay), only issue was that she did EVERYTHING with an attitude! Slammed down the tablet and didn't even let us know it was ready, she just walked away. Would not come to this Chili's location cause it is RACIST! RACIST RACIST RACIST! My boyfriend and I got our food to go. We picked it up 5 minutes after the order was supposed to be picked up. Our fried pickles were alright. Our steaks were alright but kinda dry. But my fries..omg hey were quite stale. Like they have been laying under a heat lamp for a solid two hours. So that was pretty disappointing. However, I will say the staff was super welcoming and friendly. Would I return? Probably not. read more
