    Baked Potato Soup
    James A.

Had an enjoyable family meal at Chili's while visiting Chicago. They no longer have the value-packed 2-for-20 meal on their menu, but was still able to get good value from their 3 for Me specials. Chili's is one of those restaurants that we've visited many times and tend to keep only the great memories from it...maybe overblowing its consistency and value. We had a free Monday night for dine-in dinner after the kids finished their work, so we drove to this nearby Chili's in Schaumburg. It wasn't too crowded and we got seated right away in a booth. Rosie was our excellent server, and came with waters and our free chips and salsa's soon after. I was determined to get value for my portion of the meal, so focused on value portion of the menu. Oldtimer with Cheese ($10.99), with french fries, a coke-zero, and cup of baked potato soup. It was solid, with the baked potato soup being good as always, and the burger being big and filling. The skin-on fries were good, crispy on the outside. 6 Oz Classic Sirloin ($16.99), with side of mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, drink, and cup of baked potato soup. My wife remarked how good the broccoli was (large pieces, steamed just enough to produce the al dente bite). The steak itself wasn't great, a small grisly piece, but still edible. The large scoop of mashed potato was very thick and tasted just like the baked potato soup, just a lot thicker. Fajita Trio for Two ($40) - daughter and son-in-law split this, and it turned out to be a bit disappointing for them. The shrimp was smaller, the beef was skirt steak, served medium. I got one taco from it, and it tasted good to me, but wasn't as good as I remember, with the pepper and onions providing a bit of texture contrast. The accompanying accoutrements (cheese, pico, sour cream) was tiny, though I'm pretty sure they would have given more if asked. Guac doesn't come with it anymore (unless added for extra) The monthly marg special was a lemon drop ($6) and we got two of those. It was very well made, and was generous with the tequila. There was enough food for all of us so no room for dessert (easy to add a cheesecake slice or mini lava cake for $3.99 to the 3ForMe to complete a 3 course meal) My son-in-law paid via the tableside kiosk, and because we didn't use any specials, the total was correct the first time. Rosie was nice enough to pack a big bag of tortilla chips, which we continued to munch on that night from our hotel.

Chili's is always guaranteed good food. We come to this location a few times a year and have never had issues with service or quality of food. The interior has been the same since they opened but it's fine.

This place is desperately in need of an update. Booths are broken, and the place just seems dirty and run down. The service is ok and they are doing their best. The tortilla chips are always good. The tortilla soup is also really good. It has a lot of chicken and a little kick. We came for the 3 for me deal. Tha tis a great deal as long as you don't get a beer.

Frustrating experience to say the least. Front desk did well timing the wait time to get seated with our party of ten for a Saturday evening dinner. We got seated in a timely manner and the server took a little while to greet us. We got our drink orders placed and the server proceeded to give us to-go plastic utensils at our table which was odd. We noticed all the tables around us who were seated before and after us were given regular utensils. We also finally placed our food orders and asked to have the bottomless chips and salsa. The server told us they completely ran out of chips for the entire night. We found it again odd since it was 7:30pm on a Saturday night for dinner to have ran out of chips. While we were waiting for our food, we saw two tables of four who were sat after our table recieve chips and salsa. We had asked our server if there were chips available again, and she told us no. When we told her that we saw the tables next to us get chips and salsa, she then asked her manager. Another server came to our table to tell us chips will be at our table within 5-10 minutes. Chips and salsa came after we all were more than halfway done with our food. I ordered the 10 oz sirloin off the guiltless menu and both the steak and asparagus were extremely overpeppered. I had to use the plastic utensils to cut my sirloin. The server also forgot to refill our drinks and was reminded multiple times. Poor service and quality of food, would not recommend.

Ordered ToGo. I'm upset with my food from this location. I ordered a burger called Just Bacon. They gave me 2 slices of bacon. How do you have a burger called just bacon and add 2 little pieces of bacon. They need to change the name. Should've called it just lettuce because there was a lot of that. I've ordered this burger before but at the Sutton rd location and there was definitely more bacon. Food was also cold

I want my baby back, baby back, baby back. I want my ... Chili's, just like the jingle, is a classic American casual food restaurant that has been around since I can remember. Speaking of remembering, I still remember the very first Chili's experience. It was the Chili's at Village Crossing and I had the chicken quesadilla. This time around, I had the spicy shrimp tacos. Three come in an order along with rice and beans. The shrimp tacos came in a flour tortilla, and came with some coleslaw, that was not too goopy, queso , which I opted out of, and a nice slice of avocado. The shrimp, although it was described as spicy, was not at all. Overall, very delicious. The rice that came with it was about a cup's worth and the beans was in a bowl of its own. Price was decent at around $12. Service was good and the overall experience was fantastic. They have table kiosks where you can pay for your meal, where you can split the check even. If you're looking for some decent American food, check out Chili's.

We ordered the Pop Over Rolls to start off our meal and they were some of the best rolls I've ever had. I really liked that they had a hint of cheese and the butter was also delightful. To eat, I ordered the Summer Corn Ravioli and it was one of my favorite pasta dishes I've probably ever had. I did get it without the mushrooms as I typically am not a fan of mushrooms but the ravioli was perfectly cooked and the flavors were simply divine. My party also ordered various meat dishes that they all raved about as well. We did order the brussel sprouts and asparagus to share - I enjoyed the asparagus but did not try the brussel sprouts given they had bacon in them. We didn't order dessert BUT did get a fantastic vanilla cake with raspberry sauce for dessert that our server brought given it was my mom's birthday dinner. The cake was SO delicious and I was very happy we got it! To top it off, our service was amazing throughout and it was an overall wonderful experience. Thank you, The Greggory team, for a great first experience! We cannot wait to be back!

Absolutely amazing, and they debone right at your table. Also had the crab pasta and had a good taste of our friends market Wagyu steak. It was like butter. Keep in mind. This is not going to be cheap though. If you're gonna go to this place, expect not only excellent service but not your McDonald's prices. Saw a couple of the next table come in and order a hamburger and fries. Seriously? You come to this place for a burger and fries? (Lol). I'm sure the burger and fries was excellent, but this place is not known to be a burger joint, even though it's on the menu but again, to each his or her own. I wouldn't come here just to have a burger. There are many other places that do that. Step it up a little. Come here for a higher tier of food caliber. That being said: Our server was excellent. The manager along with the chef / the wine "professor"- (he was excellent as well- extremely knowledgeable, and paired our bottle of wine perfectly with all our meals) along with everyone else who came by to check on us. But our server was absolutely attentive and great. He wasn't pushy and he was very easy-going but very astute and had all the attention to detail. So hopefully we made his night when we came to the tip. (we weren't slouches, nope.). I wish I remembered his name, it wasn't a typical name, but he was outstanding. That being said, make sure that you pack away a couple "bones" when you see the check- also make sure that you tip your waiter for the outstanding job that they do. So don't skimp on that either. So again: It isn't cheap, but a place like this shouldn't be. We had a great experience overall- Also, this isn't your T-shirt and shorts type of place. You have to dress up. No schleps.. Capeesh?!!? leave your sandals at home. Which it should be. This is an experience, not your local In-N-Out Burger joint. Excellent and tasteful decor- excellent service highly highly highly recommend.

Non-Drinker's, Out-of-State Patron Review:…read more It's a solid restaurant. The chain, and specifically this location, came highly reccomended by a local & family member who's an airline executive. The set-up here of which defies comparison to any known similar chain back home in CA that I can think of. Parts winery, wine bar, wine store, tasting area, restaurant, take-out eatery. Checks off several boxes, all centered around the wine appreciation & drinking experience. 6 of us dining al fresco under a gorgeous late summer setting sun in this suburban Chicago village. Started off with appetizers, Drunken Shrimp & the Over-the-Border Egg Rolls, which were both good. Alongside polishing off 3 or 4+ bottles of wine during the visit for the 5 out of 6 of us drinking (myself excuded). Wine comes out served in visually cool aerator-decanters upon request (which are also available for purchase in the foyer giftshop). There were no complaints whatsoever with the wine selections from any of the seasoned wine-drinkers in our party, lol. Each of us got something different entree-wise from the menu: Myself the Keaton's Spaghetti & House-made meatballs, others getting the Braised Short Rib Risotto, Dana's Parmesan-crusted chicken, Tim's Favorite Chicken Giardinera, a vegan plate and another unrecalled selection. They were all great, with no complaints. Service is very knowledgable & adequate with prices quite reasonable, all things considered. Dining here I observed resembles more of a European vibe. In that you come and stay awhile in an unhurried atmosphere. Drink a bottle or two of wine, eating, talking, laughing, (crying?) about life's complexities. Then maybe order a few more rounds or bottles...and call it a night after 2+ hours or so. Staff & servers seem to embrace this idea too. Come in, hang out, take your time, order a few bottles, eat, no rush. Different but not necessarily disagreeable from a West Coast perspective that seems to value moving through a meal as expediently as possible. Although there's nothing holding you back if you wanted to blow through a visit here either. A dedicated take-out area in this regard serves that purpose also. The men's restroom could've used some attention on this Tuesday eve. Overall, a great & impressive introduction for this 1st timer to Cooper's Hawk. Thank you.
