I love chilis, it is one of my fav oat. The food is amazing the wait is not too long and the waiters are always amazing and nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is great[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and it is just an amazing place overall.

The food always buss that's never an issue but the customer service never stands out (not good or bad) . Except for today though ... Destiny served me and my family today and she was the kindest most sweetest server I've had in a long time . She was quick efficient and I didn't even have to ask for anything. At the end of our visit she let us know she was leaving for the day .. and that made me even more satisfied bc she wasn't rushing us or anything the whole time. Once again it was Destiny the light skin girl on 6/17/26 around 1:30 pm

Ordered food from here to be picked up at 7:18 PM. I went in at 7:30 because the food was still not done, they informed me that the soups were frozen and that's what they were waiting on. I said OK, I continue to wait. 25 minutes passes and finally my order comes out. I ordered the secret sauce burger with no pink. I ripped my burger in half and there is so much pink inside. It was disgusting. My watermelon tea was warm. My white cheddar Mac and cheese which was an additional $1 charge was halfway filled. My fiancé's soup was extremely watery to the point where it looked like there was tons of ice cubes that melted inside of it. His mac & cheese was also only filled halfway. The burger was really bad. I don't know what's going on with this location . But a huge waste of $ The girl at the to go station was really nice, she did apologize about the wait time. The watermelon lemonade was delicious. But this is unacceptable.

the food was yummy. the dragonfruit lemonade was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the inside is like every other chilis.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] service left much to be desired. went on a weekday at dinner, waited to be sat (which was fine). server was nowhere to be found after we ordered. only our chips not other appetizers came out. food runner didn't even know we were missing food.

    Chip Dip Trio

It's been 12 months (according to my last review) since I've been to this Chili's. I see they've been getting a lot of bad reviews but I saw an improvement from my last visit so that's a plus. As a party of two we came in around 3pm and were sat in the booths to the left of the bar area. They had one server working the whole bar area and tending the bar. We were greeted in a timely manner and given our drinks shortly after ordering them. Our chip trio was brought out by another employee. Everything was good on the trio. The chip tray had a lot of broken pieces and not a lot of full size chips but we made do. For lunch I ordered the baked potato soup and the chicken quesadillas. I found the portion sizes to be very fulfilling. The soup did not come with any toppings or crackers. I chose not to eat my soup because my mom got the chip trio so we shared that and then when the entree came I ate 1/2 of the quesadilla and took the other home for leftovers. I think that pick 3 menu is a great value. My mom ordered the chicken fajitas. She felt like the onions weren't cooked enough and her chicken could have been seasoned a little more. She said the chicken was too light and was lacking flavor but she was pretty hungry so she ate her meal and didn't have leftovers. She didn't eat the rice or beans. The rice was overcooked. We never got/or were offered drink refills. They expect you to pay on the table machines so after the boxes were delivered no one ever came back. Although a convenient way to pay it also gives the server a reason to never come back to the table to see if you need anything else or to say thank you. Halsted doesn't have a lot of dine in options so I find myself always coming back here when visiting home. It's convenient and a hit or miss.

I originally came for brunch, but my date arrived late and brunch ended at 3:00 p.m., so we had to wait for dinner service to start at 4:00 p.m. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The presentation was nice, served in a large bowl, and the sauce was delicious. However, the portion felt small for the size of the bowl--only four shrimp and not nearly enough grits. My date ordered the same dish and felt the same way. The biggest disappointment was that the food arrived only room temperature. It seems like more and more restaurants are serving food that isn't hot, and that's frustrating. My date also ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger came out without the fries, although they were brought out later. Overall, the experience was okay. The atmosphere and building are great, but the food temperature and portion size, left me underwhelmed. I might come back one day to try the brunch menu, but based on this visit, it's probably not a place I'd rush back to.

For the pricing, I expected much better flavor, quality, and overall creativity. The shareables were overpriced, the drinks were mid-level at best, and nothing really stood out enough to justify the cost. The space itself is nice and works well as a social spot or sports bar atmosphere where you can sit, talk, watch games, and enjoy company. That part of the experience was probably the highlight. However, the service was also lacking because the restaurant seemed noticeably short-staffed. It took a long time to receive attention and proper service throughout the visit, which added to the frustration. Overall, the location and atmosphere have potential, but the menu, food quality, drink execution, pricing, and staffing experience need major improvement to match the type of establishment they appear to be aiming for.

It's in Flossmoor, IL. I'm so happy to do this review on them. We went on a Tuesday and although I had in mind what I wanted to order from the regular menu, we arrived while their Happy Hour was still going on so we decided to take advantage of their tacos for Taco Tuesday and their guacamole. The guac and chips came out first. It looked so fresh and when I tasted it, the angels were singing! Delicious. Then came the tacos - I was surprised how big they were, filled up with good stuff. I had the steak and the chicken. Both were good but I liked the steak best. I had had a challenging workday so I treated myself to the Lemondrop Flight as I love lemondrop martinis. You can pick three from the flavors of original, passion fruit, watermelon, mango and strawberry. The presentation is beautiful in what they bring it in. Toya, one of the owners made it herself and she is definitely a good at making drinks. I enjoyed them immensely. This place is a total VIBE - small, intimate and cozy. They play R&B that takes you back to the 80s and 90s - we were thoroughly enjoying it. Many come in and sit at the bar where there are two large screen TVs. They also have a small outdoor seating when the weather is nice. We were really enjoying our time there. We had the best wait staff - Chris was super cool, engaging and just plain nice. He was informing us of all the events they have there which piqued my interest. Toya also came over and talked with us and I complimented her on the restaurant and promised her that I would definitely be back and would bring others. I have already posted about them on social media and many of my friends are planning on seeing what they offer. For dessert, I ordered the Turtle Cheesecake. I'm kind of a cheesecake snob because my late Mother made the best cheesecake. The presentation of their cheesecake was gorgeous. The caramel drizzle and nuts on it was inviting. One bite and I was SOLD! I was too full to eat the entire big slice they gave me so I worked on it some more when I got home. This place opened in 2023. I wish them the best because they definitely have something there. I can't wait to come back there, it's a place to come, relax, eat good food and enjoy the positive environment that there. Check out their weekly events, brunch and live entertainment on Saturdays. Thank you Poppin' Corks, A+!!

She recommended Poppin Corks Bistro. I passed by several time, and being solo, I was looking to get a seat at the bar rather than in the main dining area. There has never been a time that I passed that there was a seat open at the bar, so I sat in the main dining area this one time. I ordered blackened catfish with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. This was a hit. It was full of flavor without going overboard with seasoning. And I appreciate that it was cooked to order. It made up for the cranberry juice being water with a "hint" of cranberry juice, an indication that it probably came from a tap. Service was top and one of the owners made rounds to check on customers. I may stop by again at some point in the future. It would certainly be a welcomed break when I am taking respite from cooking at home.

The smoked Old Fashioned was the first clue that this was going to be a good experience. Wood smoked in a decanter and served over a single cube with Rosemary sprig. Perfection! Delicious! I wish I could had the perfect t cigar with it. Appetizers of Ousters Rockefeller were superb. Great sized. Generous toppings. The Waygu meatballs, sauce and perfectly toasted bread almost had me stepping away from my table to "slap the cook" but I composed myself as the perfect gentleman that I am and silently clapped for him. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. Mom had the lamb chops and she said aloud that she was in heaven. I did not want to hear that kind of talk, so I ordered her a prosecco. Ha. She relaxed. My niece and I couldn't believe this was our first visit, especially after hearing so many great things. This place is incredibly popular, so I definitely recommend making reservations. After checking in, we waited less than five minutes and struck up a fun conversation with two lovely ladies who were also first-timers. It was the perfect start to the evening. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and inviting, with Mardi Gras beads and colorful carnival masks throughout the restaurant that give it so much character. Our server was fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations made choosing from so many tempting options much easier. Now let's talk about the food... EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! To kick things off, I ordered the Creole Voodoo Zombie, and my niece had the Hurricane. Both cocktails were fantastic and set the tone for an amazing meal. My niece is an excellent cook herself and has dietary restrictions, so dining out can often be disappointing. That's what made this experience even more special--she genuinely loved every bite. We started with the crab cake appetizer and the BBQ shrimp appetizer, and both were packed with incredible flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the blackened ribeye, swapping the broccolini for the collard greens (worth the $3 upcharge!). The steak was perfectly cooked, and those collard greens were phenomenal. My niece chose the blackened red snapper étouffée, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't leave without dessert. We shared the Mississippi Mud Turtle Brownie topped with marshmallow fluff and the strawberry shortcake. Our server suggested pairing the brownie with a butterscotch liqueur, and I'm so glad I took his recommendation--it was the perfect finishing touch and complemented the dessert beautifully. We've been talking about this meal ever since we left...and that's probably the biggest compliment I can give. In fact, we were so impressed that we made reservations for next weekend before we even left--and we're bringing two friends with us! Perfect for: Date nights, celebrations, or anytime you want a memorable meal that's worth planning ahead for. Maple Tree Inn absolutely lived up to the hype. 10/10--highly recommend!
