It's no exaggeration when I say that my dining experience at Maple Tree Inn was one of the best…read morerestaurant experiences I've ever had! My niece and I couldn't believe this was our first visit, especially after hearing so many great things. This place is incredibly popular, so I definitely recommend making reservations. After checking in, we waited less than five minutes and struck up a fun conversation with two lovely ladies who were also first-timers. It was the perfect start to the evening. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and inviting, with Mardi Gras beads and colorful carnival masks throughout the restaurant that give it so much character. Our server was fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations made choosing from so many tempting options much easier. Now let's talk about the food... EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! To kick things off, I ordered the Creole Voodoo Zombie, and my niece had the Hurricane. Both cocktails were fantastic and set the tone for an amazing meal. My niece is an excellent cook herself and has dietary restrictions, so dining out can often be disappointing. That's what made this experience even more special--she genuinely loved every bite. We started with the crab cake appetizer and the BBQ shrimp appetizer, and both were packed with incredible flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the blackened ribeye, swapping the broccolini for the collard greens (worth the $3 upcharge!). The steak was perfectly cooked, and those collard greens were phenomenal. My niece chose the blackened red snapper étouffée, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't leave without dessert. We shared the Mississippi Mud Turtle Brownie topped with marshmallow fluff and the strawberry shortcake. Our server suggested pairing the brownie with a butterscotch liqueur, and I'm so glad I took his recommendation--it was the perfect finishing touch and complemented the dessert beautifully. We've been talking about this meal ever since we left...and that's probably the biggest compliment I can give. In fact, we were so impressed that we made reservations for next weekend before we even left--and we're bringing two friends with us! Perfect for: Date nights, celebrations, or anytime you want a memorable meal that's worth planning ahead for. Maple Tree Inn absolutely lived up to the hype. 10/10--highly recommend!

Yes, they are trying for southern charm but the basics cannot be overlooked. The additional charges for things is ridiculous. When I walked in the door, it wasn't a hello, I was greated with do you know our polices. See yellow sign in photos. Charges, for evrything. Look at the menu, extra charges for small items. I tried to order the chicken dinner and was told they do not cook it on Sundays. Only wings on Sunday? WHAT? Isn't Sundays when people come for a family dinner? The service level was nice at the table, so I had no problem with the mandatory 18% added to the bill. She was polite and nice and earned her tip. I actually gave her additional money. The ambiance is noisey. Be prepared to talk little louder than normal. The activity level makes it noisey. I've tried this place twice, I think that's a wrap. No more.

I wanted a good stiff drink as I ate all this yum yum. But I was apprehensive before I left my truck. Couldnt figure out what was the entrance to the place. It was dark. It didnt even appear like ppl were in there. The parking lot didnt seem like anyone was suppose to be parking there.... there were elements that had me feeling this was a bad choice. Finally went inside .. still weird as to when we looked around.. It wasn't "restaurant looking". (See images). No hints of garlic... no FOOD SCENTS. JUST WEIRD. It wasnt packed, a hostess set us down. Everyone stared as we got our seat. I just knew this was a bad idea. I looked over the one page menu. The drink specials in which all were priced at $12. I just didn't feel moved to stay. Their appetizer selection was limited. And I felt the same regarding entrees. I needed ANOTHER TYPE OF EXPERIENCE. And it was not going to be here. Unfortunately. Maybe in the summer if one of my friends or family asks if I wanted to go, I MAY if my laundry doesnt need to be washed and folded. But..... the vibe I got from this venue-did not sit well with me. I heard a couple great reviews from family. But for ME? Yeah... that was a no. I explained to the waitress we changed our minds- I desired to have another experience on that evening, but I appreciated the half cups of water she brought in the disposable cups. *shrug*
