Our meal was a horrible experience, we ordered 6 oz classic sirloin with garlic roasted tomatoes,the manager took our order ,the steak was to be medium well,my wife's was prefect ,mine was raw.their was no grilled tomatoes ,guess the manager figured we wouldn,t notice the red tomatoes where missing,never bothered to tell us they were out of the tomatoes until we brought it to their attention ,we would have ordered something else if so.Manager no doing her job. read more

I have never rated a location before online but I had to rate and give out a review for Chili's in Lake Charles. This is not going to be a good review for the management staff at all and my server was alright. Being in the service industry myself let me just advise that this would never be tolerated where I'm employed. I was seated in the bar area and there was a man seated, well actually he was standing, at the bar in the corner. He had a young lady with him, looked like his daughter until I saw the way he was groping her. I wasn't offended I felt bad for the girl. He was preaching very loudly about GOD. Now before any conclusions are drawn please continue to read this review. I am a GOD fearing woman. I believe in speaking about GOD. I do not believe that you can be preaching to a bartender about GOD and sucking down tequila shots and beer at the same time then in the next breath tell the bartender how much money you have. Just a nasty comment from my own ugliness, but people with "MONEY" don't really use flip phones anymore. He then decided that he was going to yell out, louder than he was talking initially, that he was Horny. I lost my mind at that. I asked to speak to the manager, he came over to the booth that I was seated in and I asked him to join me. I asked him to listen to the conversation and he did for a minute. I suggested that he go over and ask the man to stop speaking so loudly and remember that this is supposed to be a family place. He said that he agreed and was getting up and a different server came over and said that the family seated on the other side of the restaurant was offended because they had small children. The manager called the bartender to the back of the house to speak with her and she didn't go back to her guest and ask the to either leave or lower his voice. Attention attention. By far one of the worst places to eat in Lake Charles. I have a friend who make deliveries to Chili's doing the day & the day Manager needs his ass whip. Sorry we paid a visit. We had a party of three which one was ordering off of the kids menu. Her pizza arrived 20 minutes before our cold and soggy food did. It would seem while the restaurant is only seating partial capacity that the food would or could be delivered hot but as we watched two hostess tell each person that came to the door it would be a 45 minute wait just as we had waited the same 45 minutes you would think the food would be delivered in a timely manner. Sorry to say it wasn't the case as we watched and finally had to ask the same two hostess if our food was ready only to wait another ten minutes and watch people who had been seating 20 minutes after us get their food. We simply ordered the pizza for our daughter, I had bone in wings and fries , and my wife ordered the triple dipper. I would think these items being appetizers that it wouldn't take this long to complete but I guess I was not surprised because it didn't, as our food just sat in the back getting soggy and cold before being delivered. The food was terrible here. The chip were saturated with salt, the loaded baked potato soup was nasty like they used powder milk in it, the Margherita flatbread not only tasted like they left it in the oven to long but the sauce from the chipotle chicken that we paid extra for had way to much spice in it making the food inedible. The burger and 13 pieces of fries and the molten chocolate cake with a dollop of ice was good. I will not go back here even if someone else is paying :). read more

Wish I could review the food, it was Friday night and we asked the hostess if they had room for 18, that we would split up. The girl was so extremely rude and informed us under no uncertain terms that they could Not seat us and it would be at least an hour. Normally I don't mind chilis, but this was my first time at this location. It wasn't really very busy but I didn't expect it to be at 1 pm on a weekday. We waited several minutes to be seated but no one came, so we went and sat at the bar. After waiting several more minutes without service and noticing the bar top was filthy, we decided to try being seated again. It still took a while to be greeted and seated. The server did fine, no problem there. The food though was not very good. Salt was very heavy and mostly the only flavor present. And in general the entire place needs to shut down and thoroughly cleaned and maintained. read more

My first time eating at Chili's was about a year ago. My first time eating there was amazing. My waiter was so friendly and even suggested a meal and drink for me! The food made my mouth water and was delicious. I have been a regular eating at Chili's ever since. I would recommend it to anyone who loves good food!!!! I love Chili's!!! read more

Where to begin..... My friends and I used to dine at Chilis in Lake Charles several times a week. It was a favorite spot. But recently, something has changed either in the company culture or management. I would say over the past 6 months I've given the restaurant several attempts to redeem itself. Upon arriving, almost consistently, you wait at least 5 minutes or more to be greeted by the host/hostess. They always seem troubled to have to greet and seat you. They seem way busy in a nearly empty restaurant. Orders are taken, but refills, etc have to be ordered via this tablet that sits on each table, looks dirty, don't want to touch it. Food arrives, you never see the server after that, again "convenient" dirty tablet sits on table for payment. Last three visits, food has arrived to the table cold, management apologized, promptly microwaves the food for us, seems to not really care. I decided I was finished with chilis. Today my coworker and I decided to order togo. Order was wrong, no napkins or silverware. I decided to just buy utensils at a local store to avoid having to step food back into Chilis. Called to speak to a manager, she was too busy to talk to us. I know they weren't busy because I had just left there... Never again... Don't waste your time or money. read more

I took my wife for birthday to chills on hwy14 the food was ok but the waiters did not offer any refills and there about 4or5 tables that people had already let after eating and the dirty dishes were never taken away while we were there then payed at table and the machine would not let me tip what I wanted it told me what I had to tip .My wife is handcap with a walker and was tripping on the mat at the door on the way out not one employed try to help but thank god there were 3 nurses behind us that lent a helping hand. we will never go back this place sucks big time worst place I have been to. read more

Poor service on not one, but two occasions. The first time we went, on a Monday, they were out of chocolate milk & Crispy chicken crispers for my little ones. On both occasions there was an inexcusably long wait for the food. This last occasion, my husband's fried shrimp was soggy & my medium rare steak was charred. I don't usually review chain restaurants as they are typically all the same, but this place holds a special place in my heart. I have never in my life been to a chain restaurant as consistently horrible as this one. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single time I have gone here something unheard of has happened. Multiple times they've forgotten my order altogether... one night when I was with a group I was there for 2.5 hours and NEVER got anything to eat. One time a very flamboyant male server kept touching me, and telling me how hot I was. One time while sitting at the bar the bartender just left after taking our order and didn't return... ever. Someone else brought the food (which was incorrect), no one ever came to refill our drinks, and I had to get the hostess to get the manager to get my ticket. There was also a time when I ordered a hamburger and fries and the fries they brought out were frozen solid... straight out of the bag onto my plate. I really have no idea how that happens. Another time I went in at an off peak time, (around 3 o'clock), the hostess sat us, and it took the server 25 minutes to come to our table. When he got there he asked for our drink order, I ordered a beer and the wife ordered a water. The bar wasn't far away and I saw the bartender pour the beer in a recently steamed mug and sit it out for him to pick up. 20 minutes goes by before he brings it to me and it was warm. I asked for another beer since this one was warm and he said, "We just changed the keg, we don't have any cold beer"... which makes no sense since kegs have to be stored under 36 degrees at all times. I said, "Are you sure about that? I think it's probably because your bartender poured it into a mug straight out of the dishwasher and then it sat on the bar for 20 minutes." His response after rolling his eyes was, "Look man, you two are the only people in my section and the only reason I'm having to work right now. Why don't y'all just go somewhere else?" I've NEVER had a server that was even REMOTELY decent. Every single time they have been horrible. I have no clue how this place is still open. It obviously has the worst management possible. read more
