Service was exceptional along with great food we had crawfish they were uniform in size along with great seasoning

I will NEVER eat hear again ! Went on Thursday to the all you can eat shrimp night with a group of 10 from out of town. 1st thing is it took about an hour to get the food. And I know for a fact boiled shrimp and crawfish are cooked fast ( no it wasn't super busy) ! 2nd I ordered the OBs egg rolls which I'm still waiting on ! (They were never brought to the table) 3rd thing is after waiting like 45 minutes to order, the waitress decides to tell us the all you can eat shrimp deal is over !! They have to set a cutoff time ! WTF ??? If it were my choice, I would have gotten up and left at this point , but the rest of the party wanted to stay ! On top of all this, they tack on an automatic gratuity for this sh***y service ! There are better seafood / crawfish spots in town. Don't waste your time here !! And BTW , you better not need the restrooms ! They're filthy and stink . With No way to dry your hands after washing them ! This place gets a big middle finger from me !! read more

Atmosphere - It is a bar, nothing special. They used the stage tonight to call bingo. They did not even offer us bingo cards, Food Drink - $4 Jucifer, an excellent IPA. A good price for any beer, and a great price for this beer. Dinner - General rule for ordering food is choose the item named for the business. The paper menu has OL Bastard, digital menu it is Old Bastard. Described as grilled roast beef, ham, turkey, jalapeno mayo, topped with three cheeses Swiss, American, and pepper jack , add some lettuce and a tomato with a side of gravy. The sandwich was less than appealing. There was a lot of roast beef which should have been great. The slices were all stuck together, and pointless to pull apart at this point. Just a giant mass of beef with no flavor. The whole sandwich was just blah. The gravy was a tiny cup of au jus I did order a side of fried pickles and peppers. They were lightly breaded and tasted great. Service - The hostess was the id checker at 8 PM, she informed us that there was no table service as we were late. We sat at the bar. After being served our first round drinks our bartender left. We had to flag down another to find out what happened and to actually order dinner. This place is a favorite for locals, and everyone is ordering crawfish! Lots of tables inside and outside, paper towels on rolls at the tables and the discard buckets are emptied as soon as their filled. No beer on draft, bottled beer is domestic, and no frozen drinks. Waitstaff wear shorts and tanks, very casual, and all are moving fast to get everyone served. As said, people go for the crawfish! read more

If you are a girl... watch out. This bar lets girls in of all ages but guys better be 21 or older. "The younger girls attract the older men" I was told "guys have to be 21" while what looked like a 16 year old walked in without being IDed. And the bar was mostly empty at the time. read more

Crawfish were very good. Had to take a star for not being able to make an old fashioned cocktail but overall we really enjoyed it!!

Their seafood platters are excellent. I visit LC yearly and have grown to love this place in the last 2 years. Great seafood!

Stopped by for lunch the other day and here's the story.... For what used to be strictly a bar, they had surprisingly a pretty good menu of items to choose from. A whole string of appetizers, gumbo, sandwiches, poboys, salads, pizza, and dinner entrees. I had the Ol' Bastard (poboy), which is ham, turkey, and roast beef served "open faced" with lettuce, tomato, onion, and jalapeno mayonnaise, Au Jus on the side. First off...what I didn't realize is that "open faced" is code for "You're building your own poboy at the table with what is on the plate." This, I didn't mind so much because it gave me the chance to leave out the onions. After putting it all together, the poboy was pretty good but was missing that extra something that makes a poboy special. I tried to doctor it up with the "Au Jus" that accompanied my order. But the Au Jus was pretty flavorless, and practically had no color at all. HINT: It should be brownish, not yellowish. I would have liked a proper au jus. I'll go with a A-OK. read more

The food is not very good. I had a hamburger and fries, but the hamburger was very dry and almost unpalatable. The place stinks of smoke, too. They get around the smoking ban by only serving food during certain hours and then closing up. However, it is disgusting as the place still smells like smoke. The smell of smoke hangs around the building and on everybody's clothes and the food still has the smell and taste of smoke on it. read more

Horrible bartenders on Saturday January 30th! There were 3 bartenders that were more worried about their conversations with each other and their phones than customer service. They barely looked old enough to enter a bar. We finally got drinks and then watched other patrons fume as they waited for service. We watched an older couple stand at the bar and get neglected so long they left without ever being served. The crowd was paltry, and 2 good bartenders would have been plenty. We wanted to order shots and food, but the bartenders ignored us while they chitchatted. Attention owner: The bartenders are losing your money! read more

This place really deserves no star after my horrible night experience on July, 1, 2015....in fact out of everyone waiting in line, a very time consuming line , I was picked out of the 25 people, to lift up my shirt and extra uncalled bs- say I think I was randomly picked out of discrimination.. I'm from Seattle and this is how they welcome me in South after I was referred by 6 people to come here....smh I had a better time at the casino and won $6 after being at the casino... If I knew that I wasn't going to smell like an ashtray after going to the place then I would consider going back. Ashtray odor and food just do not mix well for me. Take it for what it is worth as it is a personal preference. read more

Visiting friends in L.C. and stopped here for a bite and a beer. Place was dirty, service was terrible, as was the food. I waited and waited for my bill--reminded the waitress I needed my bill again...and after 20 more minutes, I just left without paying. Skip it at all costs. read more

Tonight was the second time I have ever been at OBs, and the last. My wife and I went for dinner and it was terrible. My wife ordered only fried Mozzeralla sticks, easy enough right? Nope, she said they were just not good, how can you mess up something so simple. I had the Rodeo burger, the quality was far below any Rodeo type burger I have had and burgers are one of my favorite foods. Oh and by the way, to top it off, we literally had fruit flies near us. I will never go back, obvious lack of cleanliness. I did tip the waitress however, she was kind enough to not charge for the sticks, but I won't eat somewhere that I worry proper care isn't taken to ensure customers do not get sick. read more

The bar looks fancy and a good size, but the one thing I cannot stand is the stench. It smells like someone sprinkled ashtray dust all over the place. Trust me, I've been to OTR's and Cowboys a lot and they both have never smelled like this. It was so bad that I got used to it in the next five minutes. Thought this would be a neat place to go for a drink one late night. When we got there all I saw were under age kids being given alcohol. How do I know some were my 16 yr olds child's friends. They got in by transferring some kind of stamp from one person to another. Then paying people older then them to buy them alcohol drinks. This place should be watched by under cover cops then shut down . read more
