So how do you walk into a restaurant they sit you in a dirty booth tell you that there is no other place to sit because there is no server at the station 6" from the next table. Then the ultimate they sit you at the table make you wait 15 minutes before the people next to you get seated (once again 6" away) and the server comes right over to them and asks them what drinks they want. My friend and I walked out. I am really disappointed in Chili's for this kind of behavior. The initial hostess was not very helpful, the manager was also not helpful and what was really bad was we went somewhere else and because my lunch break was only an hour I was 10 minutes late and got chewed out for. Food was fantastic but the staff were less than. There were a couple of booths of children around us when we got sat but things got bad quickly. These kids were climbing MY booth, play fighting next to me, I got kicked and we weren't able to enjoy our food. We spoke to our server about the experience and he said "yall weren't even supposed to be sat in my section because it was closed". We spent $100 and had the worst experience of our life. We won't be coming back, this is the first date night I've gone on with my husband in over 6 months and it was ruined. The manager gave us an insincere "sorry" and sent us on our way. My wife and I stopped in and tried to eat here. We were seated and I went to the restroom, then returned and sat for an additional 5 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant. I watched the bartender and servers sitting around on their phones in the front of house. They looked at us and ignored us until we got up and left to find a restaurant that was interested in selling food. I was pretty appalled by the incredible lack of service and dirty atmosphere. Today was a Chilli's day for dinner for today and tomorrow. I got off late and had Chilli's on the brain. Was hungry for some ribs. I called my order in and it was suppose to be ready between 512- 517. I got there a lil early and they're were cars everywhere. I ended up waiting almost 45 minutes for my order but i didn't mind. A nice guy came out and got everyone's name to get the ball rolling. The wait was well worth it. The ribs were superb. Tender and very flavorful. The Southwestern Egg rolls are my Absolute favorite of all the appetizers. Thank you Chillis for another great meal. read more

For some reason I enjoy Chilis, especially when on the road. I stopped in this Lake Charles location and my gosh what a joke. Only the bar area was open (it was 7:15pm) we waited on the hostess and eventually a waitress yelled at us to just go sit wherever. Sat 20 mins in a practically empty restaurant and no one ever even took our drink order so we walked out and got back on the road. By far the worst chilis I've ever stepped foot into in my life. I stopped to eat dinner with my parents at Chili's in Lake Charles, Louisiana and one of the hostesses came out immediately and would not let me park in the parking lot - even though there were other cars filled in the spots next to mines. There was not any sign indicating any reason to not park there at all. I ended up changing the parking spot farther away and entered the restaurant with my parents to dine in and the another waitress would not seat us and told us their kitchen was closed - when it wasn't even near closing time and many others were dining. Mediocre service... Granted we visited after 9:30 PM but if you're open late, you should be staffed appropriately. We entered and were greeted but the host took is to a table that was unclean. The floor was even so dirty that we had to ask the host to sweep it. Once we sat, we assumed we could order and enjoy our meal. Not so. The waiter was nice but because he had so many tables, the service was slow. I ordered soup that came back lukewarm. I sent it back but by the time they brought it back, my friend was finished with his meal! I even ordered dessert... which never came. As soon as we walked in the manager/shift leader- not sure which let us know that we would have to take a seat on the bench by the doors and be patient as she had no clean tables available, but was working on it. After about 15 minutes we were seated, after she lead us over to our table and wiped it...while we stood nearby. Plenty of empty clean tables nearly- so I'm thinking its a server issue instead of available tables. Which is fine- as a former server nothing is worse that getting slammed with tables when it's just you in that section. I would much rather wait up front than sit at a table waiting on the server. Kudos to the greeter/manager/shift leader for doing that- just maybe a friendlier tone would have been nice. Taylor was our server and did a great job!! Attentive, friendly, and the all important without asking- extra napkins were brought to the table right away! She even brought an extra tea- before I even had time to ask! I ordered off the lunch menu- price is based on what you order, I had the Chicken Enchilada Soup as a starter, and Chicken Fajitas..both were great! But this location clearly has a multi-year pattern of checked out management. Only saw one waiter. Two seated tables. And they quoted a 45 minute wait. Said it was social distancing. I said..NO, its poor staffing and bad management. Tables were 25 ft apart...not six. Lol. Near a gas station and other great stores for more convence. By far the dirtiest filthiest restaurant I've been to in my whole life. I was going to sit at the bar which I did however when I was walking in there was a huge line outside however nobody was sitting at tables inside. There was no manager to be found. The bartenders were overworked. Two bartenders giving drinks to the whole restaurant plus the bar. The table was dirty. I had to wash my hands after looking at the menu because it was sticky. The draft beer was broken. They were running out of beer bottles and cans. The shrimp Caesar salad was absolutely nauseating. Lukewarm shrimp mixed with warm lettuce. Couldn't even eat the whole thing. Couldn't get a drink when it was empty. Had to wait over 20 minutes one time for a drink. The worst. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money here. You will most likely have a terrible experience. And to whoever runs or owns this location, you seriously need to find a different business you don't deserve to be treating customers. No idea how this place stays open. Extremely dirty. Louisiana must suck at making sure their restaurants are clean and healthy. Got 3 half rack baby back ribs for $16.99 + $2.00 per half rack, 2 sides of steamed broccoli, 2 sides of loaded potatoes, cheese pizza for my daughter w/mandarin oranges. When we walked through the door we were expecting it not to impress us because it never has. To our first surprise the staff seating us was rather quick and friendly. After we were seated it kinda reminded us why we don't got there. The booths are small and they give off a sticky feeling and the menus are not the cleanest. Then we were surprised again because our waitress was very nice, friendly and helpful. I ordered the Half Rack of Ribs with the new Shiner Bock BBQ sauce, my wife had the Chicken Strip meal and my mother in law ordered the triple appetizer for her meal. To our surprise the food was not that bad. The Shiner Bock BBQ sauce was my fav part of the whole meal. It tasted great. So all in all I say it was alright. We walked in the door, and waited for eight minutes even to be acknowledged. When we were seated, our server said "I'll be with you in a second" then disappeared, returning some ten minutes later. The server was the main focus of my disappointment for today. I felt like we were disturbing her day, and I didn't see her serving any other tables near us - maybe they gave her our table as an add-on to her section - but we waited over 30 minutes to get food and we saw other tables getting seated after us, and getting food before us. Drink refills were not as forthcoming as I would normally expect. The food was good, the portion sizes were about right and the prices were reasonable. What I saw of the kitchen and drink station suggested that cleanliness and hygiene standards could have been better, and my wife said her lettuce on her salad was slimy. Not the best experience. Let me start off by saying, I'm not paying for cold food. Fried pickles were ordered, which were hot and delicious. We all order different selections of tacos, but when they arrived all of the dishes were cold and the avocado was brown. Waitress said she didn't know what avocado was supposed to look like and the manager said the toppings to the taco is what made the meat cold. Again, I'm not paying for cold food, so we asked if they would take those meals back and we decided to order something else. Everyone's meal turned out better except my boneless wings. The only thing hot about those wings was the sauce. At this point we asked to speak with the manager to let her know how we felt and she did apologize.
