Came here since it opens late and everywhere else on the road closed early. Seated next to the bar and our server was very friendly. They have a decent special for a 3 for 1 deal. I opted to pay a bit more for Cajun shrimp pasta and a margarita cocktail. It was fine, I enjoyed my house salad a lot but they added a lot of cheese on all the dishes. It was very filling but we gobbled it up- perfect for a late night meal.

Surprisingly great vibes! Food was great but a little salty. My friends and I just landed and had to get something to grub on and it's great that chilis was open. For what it's worth, this chilis is way better than the chilis I've had anywhere else. Service was wonderful! They were quick, Attentive and respectful. We ordered quite a bit. It just so happens to be lunch time and they have a lunch menu. Great spot for a quick bite, small parties or big parties. Lots of variety to choose from. Till next time let's eat!

The only reason this location gets one star, is for the good service the bartender gave me. The salad was more than disappointing. Requested the buffalo chicken salad, which apparently is not on the menu anymore, now I see why. This came with zero requested and paid for blue cheese crumbles, bur rather a runny side of ranch dressing, and another option. This lame meal would have been returned but we live an hour away. Unfilling, unsatisfactory, and Underwhelmed. There were about 7 small cubes of tomato, besides that just lettuce and tortilla chips. Most likely the Worst Salad I have ever purchased. Two salads for 32 dollars, wow. Many other mediocre options in the immediate area, which are a bit less lousy than Chilis of Montrose.

Bone in chicken wings with apple bbq on them. The biggest ones in Montrose I think.

I mean, we could not get enough. If you ever get a toast, make sure to ask for their fruity syrup. It's just WOW. Also, get their bacon - Starvin' Arvin's can make bacon right. Everything else is alright. We came in hungry and wanted a bit of everything. While we enjoyed their bread, pancakes and French toast, it seems like we ordered the weakest dishes in the joint. The chicken fried steak, hash browns and green chili omelet were okay. The steak and hash browns were lacking flavor on their own, so you really had to make it your own by adding seasoning or getting a touch of extra gravy. The green chili omelet has a lot going on. It's pack full of a variety of flavor, but when one component doesn't work, it's like the whole dish struggles because you can't pick it out of the dish. The place felt like an old-school diner which is something to appreciate. It has a nice parking lot around the location, and it's rowdy in the morning like you'd expect from a place like this.

I let my boyfriend pick the restaurant not realizing they didn't sell alcohol. The waitress seated us at a huge corner table for just the 3 of us. After not even a minute of looking at the menu she asked us what we wanted, so I asked for a Bloody Mary. The waitress laughed in my face and said "yeah right, me too". So then I preceded to ask for a mimosa, thinking they didn't have tomato juice. She then let me know they didn't serve alcohol, so I said just waters fine. I still can't believe she laughed in my face, how rude! Then she comes back to ask us to move!!! Not only was that extremely inappropriate but it was my birthday . Then after we got up they didn't even direct us to which table they were moving us to. The table was still right next to the table beside it, is in touching our neighbors table. The guy sitting there even had his phone on our new table! Then after we order we realize my boyfriend had left his phone at the other table. When asking the new group sitting there if they had found it they said they turned it in. The staff didn't even think to ask if it ours even though they moved us from there. Then the waitress acts like she's doing us a favor by sending out a cinnamon roll. Well after we left we realize we didn't actually get a free cinnamon roll, there was only one brought out and my friend had ordered one as a side and never received it, meaning all 3 of us ended up eating the cinnamon roll that was supposed to be hers. Not only did the entire experience bum me out on my birthday, but I will definitely not be recommending this place or ever stopping back by. The ambiance inside was okay, and the food was good, but the service was atrocious.

Got chicken quesadilla appetizer for the kids, 1/2 rack of ribs, and street tacos (one pulled pork, one grilled chicken, and one beer battered cod) with beans and cilantro rice. The service was kind and I picked it up on time. The orders were hand-written on the boxes. Inside the store was pretty standard for a Southwestern style casual dining restaurant. Dark walls, decent lighting. So as far as affordability...here's where it fell flat. I'll say, the food was all flavorful. If it was taste alone, it would be a 5 star. BUT... The street tacos were comparable in size to Del Taco's street tacos... so...not much. For the price point, not worth it. The "1/2 rack" of St. Louis Style Ribs had a total of 4 ribs. Like...would their 1/4 rack only have 2 ribs?? The best value item was the chicken quesadilla, but we paid extra to sub sour cream for the salsa (my kids can't handle "spice"), and it came in a SMALL condiment cup. Ultimately, we polished off our dinner and had to supplement everything with other foods. Which we'd be fine with except at the price we paid, anywhere else would have easily left us satisfied. Ultimately, it was good and people were kind, so it just amounts to a big sigh.

We ordered 2 grilled mother cluckers and bock bock fries (our go to). It was about 4pm and there were only a few people there (we were the only ones outside). After about 40 minutes waiting for our food I decided to go in to check on things. Our order was sitting on the counter. Their response was "sometimes the buzzer doesn't work from the table you're sitting at"..... ummmmm what? We ended up eating the cold chicken (and I mean cold, not luke warm) sandwiches because we were starving but asked them to remake the fries. Fast forward to a few weeks ago it was a Friday and me and a friend ordered some sandwiches and sat in the back half of the brewery . After about 25 minutes my buzzer went off. When I got up to the counter there was an order of fish and chips... they called the wrong buzzer. No biggie. Well another 20 minutes went by and nothing. People around us that ordered after us were getting their food. So I went back up to the counter and there on their service line were our chicken sandwiches. When I asked the employee about my order she went back and checked and came back and said "we just finished them up". I took the sandwiches back to the table and again they were COLD. Not to mention since the coleslaw was sitting on the bun they were completely soggy. Didn't take the sandwiches back because we had a baby with us that needed to go to bed. I'm not sure if it's a buzzer issue or what. But we aren't sure if / when we will be returning to Pomona, sadly.

Popular spot, so parking can get a bit busy, but there is plenty of it. We arrived for a late brekkie, and it wasn't super crowded but busy enough to have to wait about 10 minutes to be greeted and served coffee. The brew wasn't thrilling. It was on the weak side. I'd argue that McD's coffee is better. Give me Peet's or go home. Menu is typical Montrose fare: smothered this and that, stuffed with something burritos, skillets, bowls, and all your regular diner-like options like pancakes, bacon, sausage etc. My Southwest biscuits and gravy were decent. Two homemade biscuits smothered with sausage gravy that was in desperate need of salt. I couldn't detect any taste of sausage, which didn't surprise me after I saw moms sausage patties (they weren't anything to write home about). A few chunks of hash browns and Colorado green chili on top. The best part was the green chili...that's when you know you're in Colorado - green chili is served with, on the side or on top of almost everything. It's unforgettably delicious, I can eat it like ice cream. Mom's Denver omelet was good. She asked for green chili on top, and it seems it helped make it taste better. If anything, the chili was yummo. Sausage patties weren't memorable, perhaps bacon would have been a better choice. Service was friendly but slow, and the server apologized, but we weren't fazed by the delays.
