Despite being a busy time of year, everything ran smoothly, and our food came out in good time. our server left us unattended for over 2 hours. she asked what food we wanted and then left us for 2 hours, my family giving credits to the servers, stayed there and finally another waitress came by and asked for our orders and then we received our food. While thinking of options on where to get lunch today, my wife and I landed on Chilis because neither of us had been there in years! Oh would we come to find out why we hadn't been in years. First off, nothing against the restaurant or the service whatsoever. The restaurant was nice and clean, plenty of tvs showing sports, and the staff were nice and attentive. Now the food on the other hand... not so good. We got a triple dipper as an appetizer, choosing the southwest egg rolls, the honey chipotle chicken crispers, and the sliders. The southwest egg rolls were probably the best item we got, they were nice and crispy with a good flavor. The sliders lacked any flavor whatsoever. And I may be alone in this opinion but the honey chipotle sauce on the chicken crispers is terrible, has a way too smoky chipotle flavor with an unpleasant sweet aftertaste. As for my meal, I ordered the bbq combo with the Jalapeno sausage, 1/2 brisket quesadilla, fries, and Mac and cheese. The Jalapeno sausage was just your typically sausage and was fine. The brisket quesadilla had another unpleasant sweet sauce on the meat and that was the only flavor I could taste. The fries were the highlight of the meal for me, seasoned well and crispy. Now onto the worst item... the Mac and cheese... It was basically noodles and milk. Really creamy, with a milky taste, that I couldn't stomach more than one noodle. My husband and I went here for lunch. Unfortunately it was not a great experience. First, the staff was wonderful! I have zero complaint about them. They were so friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had great music. The food was unfortunately some of the worst I've had at a restaurant. We got the triple dipper appetizer to start. The bacon ranch burgers were really bland and salty with no flavor. The honey chipotle chicken strips were good and the southwest roll was also good. For our meals we both ordered the sample platter with the jalapeño smoked sausage, fries, ribs, Mac and cheese and brisket quesadilla. This was so disappointing! The ribs were good. I was most disappointed with the Mac and cheese. It was literally pasta and milk. Zero flavor that not even a ton of pepper could fix and watery like milk. He was complaining about their coworker named Stacey and how she was trashy because she had to hire "a random 17 year old to watch her kids " and that " there is no way she paid that kid because she's a brokie " . This man continued to be loud throughout the entire meal and kept talking about how he has a nail business and doesn't really need this job so he could care less. Delighted to be seated quickly, almost immediate attention to our drink order - all was well. A slight wait to place our food order. I specifically asked if the fijata could be made without bell peppers because I am allergic to peppers. When the sizzle platter arrived, a 5 inch long roasted pepper sat in the center. The manager apologized and assured me a speedy replacement. My friend had finished his meal by the time, mine arrived 41 minutes after the first - it was not hot. The meat was overcooked and fatty. The portions small. I had to ask a random waiter for my check when it didn't arrive. Nearly 3 hours after arriving I had my check paid. The restaurant staff stood talking while we had very little attention at a time following such a dangerous incident. I remained pleasant, left a generous tip, and enjoyed my friend's company. Things have gotten a lot better at this location since the depths of the Covid-19 pandemic. At times they were short staffed and unable to seat a full dining room but the food stayed pretty consistent throughout. Our last visit (April 2023) was actually great. The wings appetizer, the salmon entree, drinks and desert were great. The table top Ziosk things weren't working so that made redeeming an offer and our gift card a little harder but ultimately it worked out. read more

I have to start by saying the service was EXCELLENT at the is Chili's! Our waitress was great- attentive, friendly, and professional. Convenient location near the thruway, with plenty of parking. I had a cup of the tortilla soup and a grilled chicken Santa Fe type salad with substituted ranch dressing. The soup was flavorful and hot. My salad was big! And pretty good- chicken could have been seasoned a little better but it was good. My boyfriend had a bbq plate for approx. $16 that he said was good and he felt was right on point price wise. Needed a nice lunch since dinner was going to be later than normal. It took quite a while for someone to seat us, and the place was not too busy. But once we were seated, we seen there were only 2 waitresses who were also bussing the tables. We understood the wait. We haven't been to a chilis in a long time, so it was great to see the menu and food options. Our food was good and the plates were filled. I was glad we came here because I forgot how tasty the food was. It was convenient for us since our hotel was right next door and we were able to walk over. A few things why rating was low. My foot slipped when sitting. Floor looked like it wasn't washed in a long time. That was off putting, but we didn't eat off the floor, so I was ok with that. I really like this Chili's location, as does my dad who comes pretty frequently. The servers are some of the nicest I've ever had. I've never had a single issue with the food, either. It's pretty good, obviously it's not five star dining, but it's a Chili's! A chain restaurant! I'm not expecting the boujiest of fine dining and neither should you. I thoroughly enjoyed my Fresh-Mex bowl. It did, in fact, taste very fresh and I had about half of it leftover to take home. Everyone else liked their meals and margaritas (especially the margarita deal they've got going). It's a Chili's and expectations should be tempered with that fact in mind. But, having been to all sorts of places across North America and beyond, the service was friendly, the place was clean, the food was very reasonable, and the environment easy. Not sure what was the issue for some others, but it was in general and in specific a pleasant experience, unhurried, with table and patron spacing appropriate for the pandemic. Convenient to the highway, and no issue with parking. We had heard there was a limitation into the establishment was possible, given the circumstances, but we did not run into that. We always look for the best combination of hotel w/ a bar/restaurant within walking distance. This location met our two requirements. We stopped in after the festivities on Sat night about 8pm. Again we had great service at the bar. Our server was Brittani and she was helpful and friendly. We ordered a margarita on the rocks ($7) and a Coppola Pinot Grigio (2 @ $7ea). We shared the generous and tasty dish of chicken fajitas. Perfect for the two of us. Sizzling hot with two plates of toppings. Very good late night meal. Total w/ tax & tip was $48. Again we experienced consistent very good service, food & drink from this location of the Chili's restaurant chain. A good value three minute walk from our room. Thank you Brittani & Chili's. One of the dirtiest establishments I have ever been to. When we walked in the floors were absolutely filthy. Food and wet spots everywhere. We sit at the bar and noticed the bar top was never cleaned between customers sitting down, which means our spot definitely wasn't. Ordered an appetizer and margaritas while we waited at bar for a takeout order. The order was shrimp tacos and fajitas with chicken and steak. When we unpacked the order at home we saw that they substituted the shrimp from the fajita selection for the shrimp tacos that is an entirely different selection with larger shrimp and different toppings and sauce and charged us for that more expensive menu item. This place was disgusting! My son and I ordered and appetizer and craft macaroni and cheese. Took them 40 minutes and then brought out 2/3 of my order and it was cold, the waitress said I owe you some food. ‍. Went to the bathroom, holy cow, I've never seen anything like it. All the lights were broke or rusted out so they had a construction light plugged in pointed on the ceiling. They also had a rusty electric heater plugged in. The place itself was disgustingly dirty.
