The chairs in the Meyer's Den are wide and comfortable, the decor is dark and classy, and being in the basement away from the dining room made it very quiet and easy to converse with family. Out of the appetizers we selected, the Charred Octopus was very popular and everyone enjoyed it...even those that had never previously eaten octopus. He then took the card from her and suddenly knew how to check the ticket and give her the winnings. So why the subterfuge?? There was no need for the rudeness, and she felt disrespected.
