Came into Chili's and tried the Pick 3 - went with sliders, wings, and chicken tenders. For the caliber of restaurant, the food was solid. The chicken tenders were a little on the rubbery side, but still had good flavor. The wings were cooked well with a nice flavor, and the slider was juicy and tasty. We normally frequent the St. Peter's location. However, the past few visits we have had terrible seating. (And, yes there was better sections that were open) Anywho, we were pleasantly surprised, it appears to be a newer restaurant. The decor is nice it has a more open dining room. Which makes it feel larger. It was very clean. The food was good. Also our female server Ashton was great also. I would definitely visit again if in the area. First time here after my husband talked about it for two months. I'll already start by saying we shouldn't have waited so long to give this location a try. The building is newer and very clean. Our waitress was friendly and patient. I had the surf n turf. Steak was cooked perfectly to my liking and the shrimp were amazing. I would eat a whole plate of that shrimp! Gotta say the last time I wanted those baby backs they still didn't make fetch a thing. Also, the cocktails feel like they measure the pour as an exact 28.5mL per ounce. Ouch. I said it. Came here on a Wednesday for happy hour. We ordered loaded fries, margaritas, a lunch meal deal, a cheeseburger meal, and fajitas. Pros: -Servers were friendly. -Our items arrived promptly and tasted great! Everything was cooked well and came out hot Cons: -The happy hour. There's a different menu from all the regular chilis that tell you which appetizers are half off. Instead the menu has options for some wings or sliders and fries but there isn't much of a price difference from ordering those same items regularly. The staff couldn't answer my questions about it and although I understand they're new they should still be trained on something like happy hour considering it's a regular outting people do around here. Although the food was good I think I'll wait for a while before going back to see if they're more knowledgeable and efficient. read more

So I love watching TikTok videos and I went down a TikTok rabbit hole watching Chili's videos. People love Chili's! There aren't that many left in the St. Louis area so I recently visited this newer location in Wentzville when I was out there on a weekend. I ordered the Triple Dipper which is the appetizer sampler because mostly the appetizers is what I saw on TikTok. I got the Southwestern Eggrolls, The Big Mouth Bites, and the Fried Mozzarella. They all came with the appropriate sauces. I liked the Southwestern Eggrolls (Crispy flour tortillas, chicken, black beans, corn, jalapeño Jack cheese, red peppers, spinach. Served with avocado-ranch.) They are the best thing on the plate. The Big Mouth Bites (Mini burgers with bacon, American cheese, sautéed onions) were tasty as well. I did not care for the Fried Mozzarella and the Marinara sauce. The Fried Mozzarella is a larger slab of cheese instead of a stick and it tasted like the fryer oil needed to be changed. The marinara sauce had that acidic canned taste. The service was friendly. For the longest time I was finished and my server never came over to give me the check. I finally saw her and asked for it and she directed me to pay at the electronic kiosk on the table. Honestly it didn't even occur to me. I'm not cut out for these chain restaurants. I ordered a bacon rancher and all patties were raw, was told manager was gonna come and he/she never did. The sever was the best though even agreed the patties were raw!!! They said I could either have a new burger or they would get me something else and take the burger off the bill. I searched my soul to see if I might acquiesce and give this place three stars instead of two but NO - they earned their two stars. Ambiance: My first trip to this location and I was very disappointed. It looked more like a Freddy's or a glorified McDonald's. If they are attempting to revamp their style, they need to work harder and make up their minds: fast food joint or sports bar? We sat in the bar area where we could be seated at a half booth/half chairs as opposed to a table out in the middle of the dining area. The furniture was of a cheaper variety than I've seen in the St Peters location with a ceiling of exposed beams, tile floor and cavernous acoustics - this is NOT a cozy dining experience, which is what we were seeking and which we assumed we would get at a Chili's. Our server was also our bartender. She was nice enough and came back often to check on us. After taking our drink orders, she asked if we wanted any chips and salsa. She didn't mention they weren't complimentary so after the fact, it seemed like a marketing gig to get further into my wallet. Shame on them. My husband said the texture and taste of the salmon was good but he didn't like the way it was served: he had to scrape off three cloves of minced garlic before he could eat it. Way over-seasoned. I ordered a half rack of ribs with bbq sauce. They were dry and overcooked. I like ribs a lot and was very disappointed. I asked for the corn on the cob - never again! I mentioned my disappointment with the corn and the server was obviously surprised, as she said in two years of working there, no one had ever said that to her. Um...REALLY? Then perhaps other diners have not been forthright about their opinion. My husband and I could easily tell that this corn was dried out and old then Chili's attempted to reconstitute it with a day-long soak in sugar water. It was MUSH. Unpalatable. Never again. I like their Mac n cheese. The chips and salsa did not disappoint. There was no explanation given as to how to pay but having visited the St Peters' location just last weekend where I was told I must pay the bill via stupid electronic cashier (and was not given another option), I assumed the same at this location. Want a receipt? Don't expect to be handed one. You can have it emailed to you or go without one. If you have a yen for Chili's, go to St Peters (Mo). read more

First time visiting Chili's. If you have not patronized this location, what are you doing?! I enjoyed my experience. My husband and I went in for lunch and left returning clients. The atmosphere was relaxing, friendly...and the food was fantastic! I ordered the 'Old Timer' burger and was impressed! Our hostess, Becca (very knowledgeable and kind), told us the burgers were a good size... she wasn't kidding! These burgers are what my husband considers a "man's burger". When our food arrived, it was hot (not warm) and looked amazing! My burger was well seasoned and tasteful...the pickles added the right amount of crunch and the mustard added additional flavor I didn't know I needed. Kudos to the chef! We ended up needing to-go plates (I knew what I was having for dinner that night). Before we left, the general manager, Cat, followed up and asked if there was anything else we needed. I have always loved their chicken nachos. Appetizer. Very 1st experience at their newest location in Wentzville,Mo. and it sucked. The entire order was wrong , & cold. I take partial blame as I didn't check my order before I left. But how GD hard is it to take down a F-ing order? They want raises for this type of service!! I swear since Rona the entire food industry has gone to hell. I ordered a order of chicken nachos & the triple dipper & only got the triple dipper & it wasn't even right. It was supposed to have sliders & southwest egg rolls. I get instead actual egg rolls 2 mozzarella sticks & some coke boneless chicken wings. The food is okay, it depends on what you order. I had a hamburger which was excellent. My wife had a chicken salad which was below average, and overpriced. The service was spotty. Our server was nice, but she had too many tables and it was difficult for her to keep up. It took a very long time for us to get a drink refill and get our bill. The ambiance is good. It's OK. Was kind of disappointed. The new building is nice. Went in one evening for dinner and the lights were cranked up to 11 (dimmers broken?). They were out of hamburgers.
