This was a random find as we wanted brunch before heading back to STL and boy are we glad we stopped by. There is not a wait list but we got there around the middle of the Sunday morning brunch rush and were seated within 5-10 min. The hostess was not in a great mood but we didn't let that hamper our spirits. The menu is huge. You can have brunch or Mexican lunch. They have your typical breakfast items with a Mexican twist or they have Mexican breakfast items. I chose the build your own croissant sandwich while my hubby got an omelet. This is a great location brunch spot in town. There was a lot of parking. There was no wait and we had immediate seating. I got the rancheros skillet. It was declious and spicy. This place has had many names, but it's now breakfast and brunch place. We came here for breakfast after a flight and the menu had a Mexican twist to it. Right after we were seated, we all were given a bread pasta that had cinnamon sugar on top. It was so fluffy and delicious! I ordered huevos divorciados and they were very good. My kiddo ordered that fruity tacos which were just fruity pancakes, but it made her breakfast way more fun. Another cool add to this restaurant was that they added a little kiddie corner. I was meeting someone for a morning meeting and only wanted something small to eat. I settled on simply coffee because -- despite having a satisfactory breakfast menu -- Sunnrise does not offer oatmeal or a breakfast granola yogurt. Sometime you happen upon a great place by mistake! Original plan had a very long wait so we tried this for a Sunday breakfast. Walked right in to this bright and very spotless restaurant and was shown to our table immediately. This is a large venue with many tables and booths. There is also a kid area that I wish I would have looked at (check out the pic). Ordered the usually coffee and a Benedict breakfast. This was served quickly, was hot and had good flavor. Wow!!! This was the most delicious Mexican brunch I've had in years!!! We drove to Wentzville to have lunch with my MIL the day after Christmas and since we had a 7 hour round trip drive I didn't want to venture further into STL for lunch and found this gem on Yelp! It was so good. I had the chilaquiles with pork and it was so freaking good. I'm sad it is 3.5 hours from my house. I would be a regular! We visited Sunrise Ranch on a Sunday morning. Upon pulling into the parking lot we were a little nervous that we would have to wait for a table because it looked busy!! Turns out, they were busy but there is ample seating inside. We opted to sit at the bar bc it was just the 2 of us but we wouldn't have had to wait for a table if we wanted to be seated. First, the interior is so gorgeous. Fashioned to look like the inside of a cool western barn. No details were left out. It was beautiful! Second. The Breakfast margaritas were AMAZING! Sitting at the bar we got a firsthand look at how they are made. And I was SHOCKED in the best way to see the bartender using a juice press to fresh press the juices that go into the margarita. Literally amazed. So impressed. The food was also delicious! I love that they have a great menu variety. There's a great option on the menu for anyone. I have already recommended this place to so many friends! I just wish they were open later into the evening so I could enjoy some more margs later in the day - lol. read more

Sunrise Ranch is one of our favorite spots in Wentzville. The birria tacos are to die for, but even their breakfast menu items are both delicious and pretty to look at. I've had the churro pancakes, the fruit pancake tacos, and their fresh squeezed orange juice for a more breakfast like option, but the birria tacos are always my go to because they are juicy, flavorful, and so filling. You have to go! The staff is so nice every time we come in, and that's usually in a bigger group. Despite the party size, they are always fast and efficient. Enter Sunrise Ranch, with its deceptive bland white name.... But out that name aside.... Enter through the door into this expansive location, and the sounds of Mariachi bands play on the radio. The menu is split in half between traditional American and Mexican breakfasts and lunch. I've had opportunity now to have both the chilaquiles divorcedas and their breakfast burrito. Both are clearly great, with a vibrancy and separation of flavors not usually found in restaurants at this price point. The service is cheerful, attentive, and understanding of special requests. We had a fabulous experience as always. The food is delicious, and the service is spectacular. Such kind and attentive staff, they check on the table multiple times and are very polite and accommodating. We went to celebrate my husband birthday, and he left a birthday card on the table after we left the restaurant. Once he realized he called, and they had the card for us to go back and pick up. Short Answer: Great food, friendly, attentive staff, reasonable prices. My wife and I went there for the first time and had a great breakfast. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. All the employees were smiling and kept busy attending customers. Saturday & Sunday they pass around free Conchas, a tasty pastry that goes great with coffee ( which, BTW was very good.). Went here yesterday for the first time. I got some kind of Mexican egg thing which was incredible. My son got pancakes that had fruit on top. Both were excellent and the service was pretty fast, especially based off how busy they were. Place is really nice as well. Overall I can't think of anything negative to say. Didn't even know where this place is, but it's over by the Post Office in Wentzville. I've been there 3 times now. Food is great and you get lots of it. The service is very welcoming & friendly. We ordered the California Benedict, the Breakfast Burrito and Biscuits and Gravy. The B&G was by far our favorite. Definitely will get them again. The CA Benedict (without tomatoes) was very good but a smidge too much hollandaise sauce. Breakfast burrito was good, but my husband complained about the eggs "weren't very fluffy" and the burrito was a little "wet", which could've been due to all the ingredients inside. He said the flavor was excellent though. Service was excellent, including time from ordering to table. The restaurant was very clean. Plenty of tables. Coffee was good. Lacking a good variety of coffee creamer flavors but had enough for me at least. The lunch menu was enticing so we will be back to try it out. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

OMG where to start, you're quickly greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. The decor looks like an old barn from the southwest. My server (Ivette) was very attentive and friendly. The food, wow, spectacular! I had a Denver omelette with jalapeños and biscuits and gravy. Try it with their hot salsa, it's amazing!
