It's a place hidden in the historic Downtown Northfield, right along the river in a "tunnel" that you have to be looking for to find. The seasonal workers (not open in the winter time) are always super friendly, and even when it's really busy (which is more often than not) you get your order rather quick. Now, you may wait 30 mins in line, and an additional 15 for your ice cream... however it's well worth the wait. Long story short, make sure you have time if you plan on going. The lady that helped us wasn't super friendly, the ice cream flavors would be listed but not tell you what's inside them so that was a bit much. Similar situation with the menu. I'm not too good to google what things but the lady seemed like she had other things to do so I made a quick decision. They have 3-4 tables so it's a bit smaller but wasn't busy on a Friday afternoon.

The frosting on there is too sweet and glopped on too thick and has a pastey texture. The raspberry jam was tart but even sweeter than the frosting. All combined in one bite was way too much sweetness. Every time I've had crumbl it's always been bad and yet I still think the new flavors will be better but it keeps getting worse. Not sure why people keep buying these cookies. Even grocery stores and gas stations have better cookies. Walking in there were two employees there and yet nobody greeted me but they did look and stare at me. Nobody else was in there so they were quick to pack up my cookie. I ordered the Strawberry and Hawaiian Blue shaved ice, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The flavors were bold, the ice was soft, and it was the perfect treat on a warm day. It was very busy when I stopped in, and unfortunately I was on a time crunch, so I didn't get the chance to try the coffee or teas this visit.
