Go on Tuesday for the procedure after taking the 10mg Valium they prescribed. I get there and Dr. Seeley does not show. Dr. Franklin won't do the sedation. He continues to try to pressure me to do the surgery without it. He offers Halcion when I told him it's never worked for me which is why I chose IV sedation that their website says they do. My whole phobia of dentists and anxiety will not let me. He then cancels and refuses it all. Says he will try to reschedule months away. I haven't been able to eat food in over three months and I scheduled it now because of my work schedule and kids sports schedules I was working around. Not to mention working around both doctors schedules. Unorganized. Unprofessional. Not caring at all. Not to mention Dr. Seeley could have call and cancelled. My FMLA was scheduled to start from work today for this procedure and I had to miss work for nothing. They didn't want to cancel because they wanted to force me through it.

Everyone was really good about explaining everything to me and making sure I understood what was going on. The dentist even spent an impressive amount of time with me which I was surprised about. At previous dentist offices I have attended, the technician would take the x-rays, do the cleaning and polishing then review everything with the dentist. At this office, the technician did my x-rays then the dentist did everything else. It felt a little odd, but I also felt like I was getting her honest opinion and attention.
