Remember e-transfer has no recourse or reversal, once you press the send key, the funds are gone forever. This "company" is a two person married couple working out of their house or car. I very briefly met them twice, (I performed all my own measurements) and they were working out of a car with no corporate signage. I verified with a number of consumer agencies that sending $11,000 to two people, in advance via e-transfer, was a completely nonstandard business request and it was not recommended that I do this. The industry standard is 50% down in advance paid with a credit card. When I asked if they could provide me with any "comfort" in this situation, without any further discussion or communications, I was sent a message indicating that "If I couldn't trust them, then it worked both ways" and that they were refusing to work with me. Hmm.. it seemed to me that they didn't trust me with a conventional up front 50% credit card deposit, but I was to "trust" them with $11,000 of my money with no way of getting it back and no blinds. Their abrupt reaction to my logical question made me wonder if I had just avoided serious financial jeopardy... They also attempted to charge me $200 as a "service" charge without informing me in advance that a short visit they made was chargeable. When I brough this to their attention, their response was "that I waited too long to raise the issue"!!?? Finally, because they are a couple with zero backup, no storefront etc., when I first tried to place the order, although it would only have taken them a few minutes to make a minor change, they informed me they were "on holidays" and would get back to me in a couple of weeks. Bottom line, be very careful if you consider purchasing from Accurate Blinds.

Cecil came out, gave us good choices on material as they are restrictions. Combined with this the price was far better than the other quotes. The quality was equal to or better than the others. The material was Sunbrella, and the frame very heavy duty. Installation was very efficient. Once installed the bedrooms off the back deck cooled down and in the evening enjoy the view and front deck.
