Most companies won't service the area that we're in as it is inconvenient, but Luc was willing to come over and quote us. They have high integrity. He was great at communicating and always showed up when he said he would. Once the blinds were installed, he showed us how to use the app to control the blinds. . He patiently answered all of our questions and gave amazing service - a rare commodity! In the past, we ordered blinds online and installed them ourselves. Shanda gave great support and advice in our challenging search for 'atypical' solar as well as room darkening roller shades for a modern home. We settled on some Graber solar roller shades, Hunter Douglas privacy roller shades, and Graber room darkening roller shades. Jean Luc was amazing as the installer - he often gave alternate ideas as to fit, as well as 'clipping' blinds in place when windows are open and wind is blowing. Both were wonderfully friendly and caring, as well as totally respectful of our home and our health by wearing masks at all times during this Covid pandemic. We recommend that you give them a try. All the staff we met were skilled, friendly, and helpful. They were quick and provided excellent installation.

One of the large blinds in our house that was installed by the previous owner broke and Lorraine's is one of the few places around that deal with the brand. I spoke to them on the phone and they confirmed that they could repair the blind and they gave me a quote that seemed reasonable given the price of the blind. I dropped the blind off and they had it fixed in about a week. The icing on the cake is that they were able to get the blind fixed under warranty. They were friendly throughout and were a pleasure to do business with. When I need to replace the blinds in my house I will definitely go back to them. read more

This a great company to work with, they really went the extra mile to make sure we got what we wanted. We have young kids (with early bedtimes) whose rooms face west. After two failed attempts with Lowe's I contacted Lorraine's. Lariza came out and listened to what I needed and when the first product was disappointing they brought out Hunter Douglas and the owner and we reordered another product. And when that still had deficiencies, their wonderful installed Tom brainstormed in his own and came up with a solution that worked wonderfully. Coming from southern CA we knew hardly anyone in NW WA. I had asked my wife to search out camano island window coverings and we called 3 companies. Lorraine was timely, efficient, plentiful on selection, knowledgeable and with numerous ideas..start to finish a top notch professional. Being almost 60 we are both rather selective. One of the other window covering places showed up but never followed up..which didn't matter we had already decided on Lorraine's Window Coverings. Did I mention courteous and friendly, responsive? We opted with Hunter Douglas products in the final decision with Lorraine's Window Coverings. I regret the other gentleman who wrote about her not returning calls (though she apparently had a poor answering service..how is that her fault?) however you gave her a one star..maybe you called a wrong number or are making up your story and are a competitor., Seems harsh and unfair. What about email or text had you tried that option in this day and age? Give the woman the benefit of the doubt..you've hired her before, you know her persona and ethical approach. Lorraine returned every one of our calls and I suspect she did not get your message. This simply doesn't seem like her caliber and unfortunately dragged her ratings down here on Yelp.. I'm here to plunk in another 5 star because she deserves every bit of it. If there were a 6 star, my wife and I would enter that instead. AntJanet read more

Recently relocated here and had no idea where to get window coverings. We didn't want to go to a "big box" store and we found Lorraine's. They were courteous, prompt, helpful, knowledgeable, and most of all friendly! We thought we wanted plantation shutters on our picture windows and sliding door but after Julie came to our home it and explained the details we decided to go with sun blocking roller shades. In the store they had a helpful display so we could decide how much sun we wanted to block out without sacrificing our view. The shades blend in beautifully with our decor and were a much better choice for our sliding glass door area. I highly recommend them! read more
