When I called, Walls and Windows arranged to have a serviceman to my house the morning of the first day I was available. The serviceman, Ryan, was polite, efficient, and had my blind fixed in no time. He even gave me tips to avoid having the problem again. I got a quote to replace my blinds at a staggering $430 BEFORE "install, taxes and fees". Home Depot quoted me the exact same blinds for $145 tax included. We always buy local and don't mind paying a little more to support Bellingham's economy but that is the most ridiculous price gouging I've experienced. read more

Wow! service from Walls and Windows. I brought two 20-year old venetian blind sets to them two days ago, filled out a repair request, received information that they would be ready in two days, and out the door. Sure enough, they were ready as offered, two days from when I delivered them. Now they're rehung and tested: perfect. Clean slats, smooth operation, with new stringing. Hard to give two stars. They came out to measure & were very professional. Shortly after, a quote for our windows was emailed. Just short of $3,000 I about choked. Asked if there was a cheaper option & they were kind enough to get me a "lower" quote. $2300. Still too high. The issue is they only carry Hunter Douglas, which are expensive. We went to Lowe's and looked into a quote for the same exact blinds, but manufactured by Bali. They were 25% off plus they have a Veterans discount. Final cost, roughly $890. This includes tax and installed. The lady was very helpful and gave us different price points. Last week I received a call from Walls & Windows asking me how we liked the new shades they installed. Told her we didn't order from them and she insisted we had. We went back & forth, awkward, and she finally hung up. So, please don't take a final quote from W&W. Look around. read more

This company has installed the blinds at my last three homes, while I have never been impressed with their service staff, today was a new low. Even though this company did the installation at my home, they never bothered to update their records with my new address or contact information so when I needed them to come out to correct a shoddy installation that has actually severely scratched my window sills, they had the wrong number to call to tell me that the repairman would be late. When I called to inquire why he was not there, she informed me in a huffy tone that my number was no longer in service. I gave her the corrected number. I waited another 30 minutes and she calls again, actually somewhat mad now that the repairman had knocked several times and I did not answer. That would be because they went to my last house, not my current home. After waiting nearly 2 hours, the service man finally comes. He needed to come back the following day to reinstall two faulty blinds. I called an hour prior to the scheduled time to say that I would not be able to meet the repairman. The service lady started snickering and in the background I hear someone say "you have got to be kidding me" the person on the phone says "she can hear you" this made background person laugh harder. I asked why I was being treated so rudely and the service lady told me that "they were just kidding me". Epically unprofessional company, terrible installation that has actually caused damage and very expensive. Go anywhere but here.
