For the price its really worth coming here. Its fantastic and fun. S and I came here for the day trip and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. We did the corn maze. the maze 1 was quite challenging. Maze two was a bit easy (except we kind of cheated a bit with the map). We also did the tractor ride and I have to say its a very great experience. Its not like we get to do tractor ride everyday. Also they have a pumpkin toe area, **blush blush. There is also putting area for kids. S beat me in the putting area but that means I will need to train and improve at home before we play again. There is a petting zoo but we didn't get to pet any animals. You get to look at them. Still fun. You can also rent fire pit here and this includes wood as well. This mean you can make snores. I like snores over camp fire! Not to forget there is a pumpkin patch area. I think we came a bit too late and all the big ones are gone. But its ok, I threw away my carving knife so I didn't get a pumpkin. This place is quite fun.

    Somewhere in the maze.

To answer the obvious question, I went here because I was already attending an event in Chilliwack, and had a 2 for 1 coupon. A corn maze, at night, in Chilliwack, in pouring rain, away from a pub on a Saturday night might not sound like something I, or anyone would want to pay for, but I can only say one thing: A-'MAIZE'-ing. This was too much fun. And the rain and darkness made it even better. The entire maze was a muddy slop, 6 inches deep in some places. Luckily I brought my rain boots, but those boots, and my jeans were covered in mud well above the knees. There are two mazes to choose from. They estimate that one takes 45 minutes and the other takes 15 minutes, and that's pretty spot-on for timing. In each maze, there are clues along the way which present you with a left or right option at a series of skill-testing questions at strategic forks in the path. Throughout the maze, dead-end corners, neverending roundabouts and invisible voices from mere feet away lead you into a disorienting adventure. The scale of it is hard to comprehend when you're in it, but look at it in Google Maps, or on their website, and you'll notice the clever pattern, a message, and logo carved into it. Hint: It's all for a good cause. Better still, wait until after you've completed it and then find out how much ground you've covered around this farmland. Get dirty! It's fun! If you have kids, they'll love the pedal-cart track, petting barn, giant jumping pillow, hay bale maze and an upstairs hockey rink/basketball court in the barn called the NHL (National Hayloft League). When all was done, I was soaked, muddy and grinning from ear to ear. I only wished they had roasted corn on the cob or something to end the experience right. 28/30: #30DaysOfYelp

I had a blast on their thrill rides such as the OG wooden roller coaster which was built way before we were born in 1958...yup, its age does add an extra rocky and spooky element when you are on this ride. Their mini golf course was cute and with enough challenging designs for family fun. Hole in one at hole 16 and 17 was a thoughtful and encouraging design too. Paid parking available and free street parking is possible if you park further away. Staff is overall quite friendly. Vendor foods' costs are of course usually higher at an amusement park but hot dogs, burgers, pizza, donuts and cotton candy are the standard food options at an amusement park. Tips: Recommend to visit on a less sunny or even cloudy day to avoid the heat while in lineup. Do bring a hat or sunscreen on sunny days and stay hydrated. Look for online promotion when buying admission tickets for better value and please don't compare Playland to Disneyland. I chose to visit Playland when PNE is not open for less crowds and spent about half a day there. Put your hands up on the rides and scream for a good time :)

We were unable to go on any rides, and one supervisor told us it was our fault because we didn't read the sign posted on the ticket booth (in person). I went to double check, and there was no signage posted indicating that we were paying for only general admission. It wasn't the staffs fault at all, as it does say no refunds, and all the staff were super pleasant and understanding, but we just wished that it was extremely clear that during certain weeks of the month, entrance was admission only. Was super upsetting to hear that. Again, staff were super pleasant and gave us some coupons to still get on rides, and we really appreciated it. While waiting for one of the roller coasters, a group of 4 young boys (approx 8 y/o) were cutting in line SPECIFICALLY in front of my boyfriend and I, and seemed to find it funny to do so. One of the boys moms saw this and looked at us and shrugged. She did NOTHING to discipline her children. These kids seemed to be targeting my boyfriend and I, and would only cut in front of us. At one point, they were climbing over the metal bars so they could get back in front of this. They didn't stop, so eventually I yelled at them once they started trying to SHOVE past us. We told the ride operator, and thankfully they weren't let on. Leaving the ride, the families of the kids were extremely rude to us and got mad at us, yelled at us and made gestures. Why is it our fault that your kids are extremely rude and have no manners? After yelling at the kid, they were laughing and smacking their butts at my boyfriend and I. I wish there was more security around, and that there were stricter policies on younger children being granted the privilege to ride in adult-majority spaces. Words can't describe how rude and disgusting these children and their families were being towards us. This entire experience made us not ever want to come back. I couldn't imagine if we had paid over $100 for entry + the ride pass and we had the same experience of these kids and their families harassing us. Absolutely disgusting.

Everyone in the party gets the local discounts, too! It's been a while for me to do the Fly Over, and I must say it doesn't disappoint. Our family from out of town was so tired from walking around the city, and when we did the ride, they were WIDE awake. They truly enjoyed it and thought it was very well done. As for me, someone who has done it a few times before, I was still amazed by the quality of the ride. Definitely a MUST!

It was easy purchasing the tickets but a bit more challenging finding the entrance one floor up. We used the elevator. When you got off the elevator it directed you around the corner then the directions stopped. We found steps and decided to follow the famous advice from the movie, ghostbusters and take the steps up!! We eventually found the entrance. Signage would be helpful. We got there 10 minutes early and waited. The wait time from your assigned time is about 20 to finally get in..bring a book. They said next up was a safety briefing, well more like a promo or so sort and you better stand in the middle of the room or else! The safety briefing was after for about 30 seconds, buckle up and hang on. The show was good and the action of the seats gave you the illusion of flight. The feeling of the mist hitting your face going through the clouds was pretty cool. My wife said she smelled flowers when we passed outer but I didn't. It was good but a bit overpriced. We went to the Canada show. I would recommend but bring your wallet. I gave it a 3.5
