The cheesy potatoes were pretty good and husband's baked potato was fine (hard to screw up a baked potato). What was wrong. 1) Green beans tasted literally like they had been dumped out of a can and some commercial bacon bits thrown in and this is after we asked was there bacon in them. We expected real bacon, not bacon bits. No other seasonings could be tasted. 2) Rib Eye Steaks: My rib eye was ok, a little tough and gristly - I could eat it with a lot of chewing. Husband's was nothing but fat and gristle (see photo) - over a 1/3 was left on the plate because it was not edible. It is obvious that the steak is not a prime grade, but commercial grade or less. 3) We were also surprised that no rolls, toast or any type of bread was served with our meal. Their response was "we only serve with the BBQ". Guess this is an area where they cut back. I find it very hard to recommend this place for anything, especially with our first experience with the BBQ being so bad and now with the expensive steaks.

Sometimes small town restaurants get a pass on lackluster food due to locale. Trust and believe, that is not the case here.
