Great spot. servers are so nice, the layout is wonderful, love the decorations and the potato salad is the best I've ever had! We'll be back! A beautiful drive from Fayetteville

The cheese fries were to die for and the live music slapped! The amphitheater attracts really talented musicians, and the whole vibe was a great time!

An open air cafe with small but delicious menu. Located near Ansted West Virginia this venue aligns your soul & spirit.

You cannot find a more peaceful place in West Virginia. The Chimney Corner Cafe combines a small & tasty menu with the charm of an open air setting. If your soul is not filled by the time you depart then you are clearly in the wrong place.

Pretty location/Horrible food Soggy fries, loaded fries had TOO much chili, burgers were frozen and had a sour smell to them. Had looked forward to visiting but was disappointed about quality and high cost for soggy, frozen food. Nice folks but bad food.

We really enjoyed our time! Very cute outdoor deck style restaurant that sits in the corner of the mountains giving a "tree house" vibe. Great comfort food favorites with a twist. If you're up to the challenge we recommend the "Fatwich." It's not on the menu, but they're known for this delicious sandwich.

This business has new owners. It is not the same and that is a shame. Ruined a great thing.

This seemed like a fun place to have dinner and it is very hard to fuck up a big beer selection and pizza. Not far at all from where we were staying across the gorge in Lansing and it was nice to have another excuse to go back into the most adorable town, Fayetteville. We were seated immediately at 5 on a Friday (we are old now). There is both a very comfortable indoor area and a perfect-for-this-weather outdoor patio. Service was good, prices were very reasonable. The pizza menu is out of this world. I can't say I have ever seen such creative and unusual pizza ideas. We wanted to try a classic and their elotes pizza. I saw another Mexican-themed version with black beans (for the plumbing) but it was a compromise with GF to get the elotes (her choice) WITH black beans (for the plumbing). We also ordered something healthy (and for the plumbing): their house salad: spring mix (which I typically despise), grape tomatoes, huge croutons chunks, grated cheese, pepperoncini. Two dressing choices: I can't ever pass on a nice vinaigrette. I was not aware that grated cheese, frank grated cheese, in a salad could be so good. The dressing was fantastic. The greens were crisp. The croutons were very good but not plentiful enough, and again the cheese. The pizzas were incredible. The classic really couldn't have been better. The crust was PERFECT thickness and balance of chewy and crispy. Sauce had a flavorful tang. Cheese was, again, cheese. The elotes pizza was also sensational. Who knew that could be such a good flavor combo? So fucking good. The toppings (corn, black beans, jalapeños, think I saw a scallion or two) fell all over the place and made holding the pizza difficult (probably my fault due to addition of black beans...for the plumbing) but it was totally worth it. We did have to flag the server down but service was pretty good otherwise. Everything came out within a very reasonable amont of time. We finished the leftovers literally by the time we went to bed that night.

The foods so delicious, which is why we went two days in a row. We were a group of 8 (4kids/4adults) that they were able to seat in the inclosed outdoor area and our kids played out their outdoor playground. We got the peppadew with shrimp, street corn with chicken and shrimp, the hot mama. Wings, the nachos (a must). Kids did the chicken sandwich. This is a must eat at.

Apparently Tequila Taco Bar has been open for a year. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Prices were comparable to other Mexican restaurants. I had a Bahama Mama, diet coke, fajita burrito, and Texas dip. The Texas dip is the equivalent of the Jalisco dip at El Jalisco. They taste almost exactly the same -- which is a good thing. Annnnd (drumroll) they are actually CHEAPER at Tequila Taco Bar. No joke. The dip is cheaper. Jalisco dip is now nearly $13 at El Jalisco. I'm a mom. You know I compare prices. The burrito was the most glorious burrito I have ever seen. That thing was beautiful. Absolutely friggin' delicious. I couldn't eat all of the food. I was so stuffed. This is all I ate all day long and I still haven't eaten since. Super filling!!! However, I am already craving it AGAIN! I may go next weekend. Gosh, I wish I could go today. That is just how good the food is! The restaurant itself had a cool theme. Loved the vibe. The employees were friendly and attentive. They had that yummy ranchy white dip that Rocca's has that they serve with the tortillas. I should have brought that home with me. Mmm mmm! What's that stuff called anyways? If you haven't eaten there yet, GO! I command you. This place is a life-changer... and my new favorite Mexican restaurant.

We ate here our first night because we were exhausted from the journey up, but wound up getting carryout for our last night because we legitimately enjoyed it, it was sooo convenient, and there's not a ton of options in the area open later in the evening. I'm glad we took a chance on it! The first night we dined inside. It's a cozy little sports bar and exactly what you'd expect; lots of WVU memorabilia, a couple of TVs, and a nice bar. They actually had a Riesling available, to the delight of my mom, so that was a pleasant surprise! The young male host who seated us was also a super pleasant fellow. They were very busy because they were hosting a small high school reunion in what looked like an extra space for rental. However, service and food was still pretty prompt! Our waitress seemed a little distracted and had a hard time hearing us but otherwise she did a good job. We were still fairly full from lunch, so my parents and I split the appetizer platter (comes with wings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and loaded potato skins) and added on an order of pretzels and beer cheese, while my husband got an order of barbeque wings. Everything was about what you'd expect, which is to say, enjoyable! The jalapeño poppers and wings were particularly good, and the ranch for dipping was clearly house-made. The revelation, however, was the pretzel sticks and beer cheese. Holy goodness, they were AMAZING. Their deliciousness alone was probably the deciding factor in our return visit. When we got carryout on the last night, each one of us ordered the pretzel sticks, lol. Seriously worth the trip! Thanks for a reliable dinner spot during our vacation!
