It is a con game. Paid $250 for a service call to install a chimney extension. Paid them and they never came back.......

Tell me you don't want to do a job without telling me you don't want to do a job…read more.. We reached out to BLUE RIDGE HEATING & AIR, INC. to install a mini-split system for our massive--and by massive, I mean 125 square feet--cabin. That's right, basically a glorified walk-in closet with dreams. We requested a simple 110/120v unit, nothing fancy, just something to keep us from melting in the summer or freezing into popsicles in the winter. You know, the basics. The quote? $5,212. FIVE. THOUSAND. TWO HUNDRED. TWELVE. DOLLARS. I wasn't asking for the gold-plated, whisper-quiet, sings-you-to-sleep-at-night model... just something that plugs in and blows air. So yeah. Message received. You don't want the job. And that's okay. But hey, future buyers--consider this your "tiny home, big invoice" PSA.

I had a blower motor stop running in my air handler. The part was covered under warranty. They…read morecharged about $80.00 to come and diagnose the problem. The service tech ordered the part. When the part arrived, it took the tech about 15 minutes to install the new motor. Charged me about $700 to install. THAT'S $2800 AN HOUR! RIDICULOUS! I called and asked why it was so expensive since it was a warranty part. They said they had to do paperwork for the warranty. REALLY? I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! I THINK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER TO PAY FOR THE PART. GET ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU. GET ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME! N-E-V-E-R A-G-A-I-N!
