That said, the staff was friendly and helpful when I visited and they did their best to make sure my experience was enjoyable despite the subpar condition of the course itself. Value for Money: For the most part, Orchard Trace offers good value for money; green fees are fairly reasonable (around $20 for 18 holes) and there aren't any additional costs or hidden fees associated with playing here. All in all, if you're looking for an affordable round of golf in Hendersonville then this is definitely worth considering--just don't expect too much in terms of quality! Conclusion: All things considered, I had a fun time playing at Orchard Trace Golf Course in Hendersonville. While it may not be the best golf course around by any means - due to its rough condition - it still provides an enjoyable experience with great value for money overall! They jacked up the green fee - but no improvement was done on the course, at all. Yes, I understand that there was the unfortunate Hurricane Helena. However, that didn't seem to have changed/damaged the course that much. In any case, whoever the new management/owners are, more improvement needs to happen, especially when they've increase the price per round. We know of several much better course conditions for much less $$. Not planning to return at this course. I will add, that the food staff - particularly Joe the Cook, is excellent and gives good attention to the patrons. He also provide good service and quality food!!!! Hats off to Joe!

It's small and the equipment is pretty well used (read: old and needing some upkeep), but it's decent for a short visit. There are absolutely no shaded areas around the playground and only two benches that are placed kind of far away from the equipment, so be prepared to stand around. The tennis courts and baseball fields look nice, but the basketball courts are pretty sad looking.

Beautiful park with something for everyone…read more We had a great time here with our toddler. I especially enjoyed the stroller friendly path most of which was paved. The path also went down by the river allowing easy access for us to walk down and watch my son throw rocks and enjoy the shallow water. The playground is very nice and well maintained. There are toddler swings and big kid swings. Lots of opportunities to climb and slide. Picnic tables are available throughout the park. If you walk along the path a bit there are some right by the water. Men's and women's restrooms in the baseball center and lots of easy parking.

Very safe and great trails-one main one through the park but tons nearby. Busy but not overwhelming- there were a lot of families and individuals here. There are tables and plenty of green space. Loving that water and can't wait to see it in summer! Disc golf here too. Nice parking and plenty of space for all.

The park is part of an interconnected series of parks in Henderson County. I've been at other locations to use the walking and bike trail that tie the various parks together. It is well maintained and one often sees meaningful upgrades. Multiple bathrooms are available near the various activity spaces... ballfields, soccer fields, tennis courts, disc golf, horseshoe pits, and a beautiful newly constructed colorful playground. Fun to see grandparents enjoying it with their grandkids. Today I enjoyed a walk through the woods appreciating a variety of new growth mushrooms. There is ample parking with dedicated areas for picnicking both covered and in the open. Most visitors respect the dog leash requirement but will see some people let them stretch their legs in less traveled areas.
