Tried this spot for the first time & it was really good food has lots & lots of flavor we got sushi shrimp fried rice and house lomein all good I guess my complaint would be the portion size if you're hungry you won't have any leftovers & it was a little pricey good food very chill atmosphere

    Hibachi Chicken Dinner
    Jon H.

A coworker and I arrived at 4PM on a Tuesday when they open for dinner hours. We were seated immediately, a server asked for our drinks and brought them promptly. She even asked if we weee ready to order when she brought our drinks which I appreciated but we did need a little extra time I ordered the hibachi chicken and my co worker ordered the Mongolian beef. It seems the portion of the Mongolian beef was larger than hibachi which I wasn't expecting. The salad dressing was a little watery compared to what I was use to but it was still good. The chicken was okay. It seemed a little over cooked but that's better than under cooked! The fried rice and vegetables are the highlights. Hibachi chicken 7/10 Salad 7/10 I'm giving 5 stars for the service and consideration that some people may prefer their hibachi this way. It was overall good. Not the best I've had but would return if I was in the area.

Chicken Fried Rice, Spicy California Roll, Spicy Snow Crab Roll

Delicious sushi. Went during their Valentine's Day Weekend Special. Fried Gyoza some of the crispiest and most flavorful I've ever had - and I've traveled far and wide. Service was attentive, staff were lovely, and the restaurant was clean. Highly recommend the spicy California roll and the spicy snow crab roll. Fiance said the fried rice was even better than we have back at home in Philadelphia. Highly recommend for a quick lowkey date night out.

    Chicken Lo Mein
    Tenise H.

I had been craving chicken lo mein. I've never been to this restaurant before and was skeptical but the reviews were good so I went and did a to go order. They definitely satisfied my lo mein fix. The middle were flavorful before adding soy sauce and yum yum I could've ate them plan but why not. I got an egg roll. It was good as well with good flavors and crisp. The chicken in the lo mein is so juicy and tender. I will be back !!

    sooo good

Best hot & sour soup in my life, hands down! Very nice service, clean restaurant and outstanding quality, 10/10

    Bahama Mama! Very tasty!

This was our first time trying Kumo Sushi & Asian and I was really impressed with the food and the service! Thanks to our waitress Cindy! My first impression of the restaurant was that it's nice but not as upscale as the pictures look online. Either way it's really nice. It's not a social hibachi where you gather around the table and watch your food being prepared. If you like booth seating there's plenty of that here! Now for the food! To start I got a cocktail (Bahama Mama.) For me it was a 10/10. The flavor was so good and mixed very well and I couldn't taste the alcohol at all but the alcohol snuck up on me and about 5 minutes later I was feeling pretty good. I got a side order of shrimp hibachi (which only came with shrimp) so I had to get an order of noodles on the side. I also got the Volcano Roll and it was really delicious! My fiancé got an order of chicken fried rice which he gave a 7/10 but I thought it was pretty good. We both loved our waitress Cindy! What a sweetheart. She was super helpful with answering questions and pretty much recommended everything I ordered aside from the drink. Really great service. I'm not sure how often I would visit due to the drive but if you're in the area I would recommend a visit for sure!

He was prompt and very matter of fact-low energy type. I couldn't tell if that was just his personality or if he didn't want to be there. We had two children's drinks, water for the adults, vegetarian lettuce wraps, California roll and bang bang chicken as starters. The lettuce wraps were good, more lettuce than filling. California roll-so small! Chicken was moist but oddly served on a bed of chunky lettuce-like the insides of the lettuce cups. Updated:apparently there is a bang bank chicken salad. Our entree was the vegetable lo mein add tofu. The kids menu has no vegetarian options and doesn't allow for tofu substitutions so we ordered a miso soup and the Japanese soup separately. The portions are absolutely individual. The lo mein was pretty good with a nice variety of vegetables. Our bill was separated by seat with individual tax for every person. For what was mentioned above, our total was $78 which is honestly much higher than I anticipated and for the portions. This place definitely is more about the fluff it seems. There were grease prints on the headboards at the seats and the bathroom floors were sticky. The decor was very basic. For the price and product, wouldn't go back.

High ceilings and exposed brick are a few of the ways to my heart. If you've seen a post about this place, you've probably seen a picture of the crackly round, artistic dish and wondered what it was. There are dumplings on the underside of it and you break each one off of the crackly part to enjoy. We did enjoy these but I would've loved a soy sauce to dip them in. They came with chili crunch, peanuts, and green onions but I wanted an actual sauce. They were very standard tasting dumplings and there was nothing extraordinary about them unfortunately. As always, we'd looked at the menu beforehand and decided what we wanted. It does state on their website that their menus can change due to freshness and availability. But we'd both decided on an app and entree we wanted only to get there and have none of them on the menu. I do appreciate a rotating menu to accommodate local items, but I would also love for those to be updated on a regular basis. So after rerouting, we decided on the chicken skewers as another app with the dumplings. These were chargrilled, flavorful, and had a nice crust on them. I got shrimp fried rice and Julia got spicy beef noodles. It was fine but I wish the shrimp wouldn't have been cut up. It felt like they chopped them up in order to not put as many in the dish. At $25 for this, I'd like whole shrimp please. There were a few pieces of raw spinach with pepper on the top. I would've loved a sauce of some kind. I would've preferred shrimp hibachi with fried rice from a Japanese place that included vegetables and sauces. This was not *bad* there was just SO much room for improvement. We both agreed that nothing was awful, but for these prices and the hype, we expected more. Our waitress was super friendly. Bonus points because they had match boxes at the host stand! There was a paid parking lot diagonal from the restaurant, so we had to walk through an intersection to get there. There are some spots up front if you can snag one. Overall, we enjoyed our time here but won't be sprinting back.

And of course they had me at poke bowls. It's one of my top 5 things to eat, honestly. But I ordered a Buddha bowl because it's almost the same thing and I felt a little lazy to DIY (not to mention, the Buddha bowl looked tantalizing!) They have other veg options, but I set my sights on that bowl as soon as the friendly counter guy suggested it. It's overloaded with goodness--avocado, deliciously marinated tofu, edamame (yes, it's a protein-rich bowl), tomatoes, shredded carrots, diced cucumbers, greens and more. You're literally devouring the rainbow here, friends. For drinks, they have a modest but decent selection of beer, wine (a decent bubbly in a can!) and sake in addition to soft drinks. The place is so beautiful (and spotlessly clean) with plants dangling from the ceiling and beautiful murals throughout. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be here all the time.

My drink order was taken (water) and my server, who answered all of my questions, was very patient and pleasant. For my appetizer, I ordered the spring rolls. They were freshly made and came out hot and crispy. I enjoyed them and would order them again. Now the main course. I opted for the spicy Himalayan chicken, medium heat. I love spicy food, and I thought I was doing the right thing by ordering the medium level. However, it was very spicy! I did notice however, that the longer it sat, the level evened out some. Still, on my next visit, I will try the mild level to compare. The dish was delicious and very flavorful. The white rice added just the right amount of coolness to the chicken and veggies. Upon leaving, I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken in mild. I'm not sure if it's because it's a totally different flavor profile, but the mild has very little spicy. I just can't believe it's that much difference between the mild and medium levels. The drunken noodles were just okay, in my opinion. There was not a lot of juice, spice not flavor in this dish. On my next visit, I will stick with the Himalayan chicken and order it in mild just to test out my theory. The workers were very friendly and came by to check on me and made small talk with all of their customers, including me. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning again
