You can also rent the cabin on the property. You can't miss it. It is rustic and charming. I mean the cabin, but the whole farm has an aura of warmth and secret places among the trees. Make sure you call first, as the trees go fast. The farm is easy to find- the road will curve twice, you go slightly uphill, and bam. You're there, ready to later beg for yet more Target ornaments and to begin a new memory of cheer and goodwill.

Fast forward to 2026 and it was my first time coming out to Pigeon Forge to check out Dollywood as I was in town to participate in the inaugural Run Dollywood Half Marathon. Although I had a 2-day park ticket, I needed to save my legs for the race. Parking was $25, but thankfully, it was free for race participants and spectators. For both days, I didn't stay very long. It was raining the first day, so I mostly walked around to check everything out. It wasn't too large, but a decent size. Over the 2 days, I did go on 2 rides: Lightning Rod and Blazing Fury. The Lightning Rod was a pretty thrilling ride. They really do have you strapped in tight! The Blazing Fury was entirely indoors, kind of weird, and much more tame in comparison. Some other rides that I saw were Demolition Derby, Lemon Twist which was their version of Disney's Mad Tea Party, and The Amazing Flying Elephants which was their version of Disney's Dumbo. They had quite a few more rides. It was a good mixture of rides for the little ones as well as for the older thrill seekers. While they had a lot of fair type foods at various locations, I only made sure to visit the Grist Mill to try their famous cinnamon bread. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and I thought it was indeed worth it and lived up to the hype!

I light up each year from 5PM-12AM for 30 days. That is 240 hours/year for 7 years. The orange flame coming out of dragon's mouth is completely out now. I have used the LED Keeper & pods to fix it with no luck. I spent about $600 for the dragon new. They made the light strings with 3 wire sealed lights which cannot be replaced. I contacted them to make me a new orange LED light string with 64 lights with total length of 17 feet. I was willing to pay for the string + shipping & was told they can't do that because these strings are now obsolete & they are out of warranty. That is not right! So you buy these expensive LED decorations & the lights or light strings are irreplaceable. I will stay with incandescent lights because they are cheaper & easily fixable. I am a very large outdoor decorator for Christmas & receive many, many drive by spectators each year. Quite a few will get out of their cars & ask me where l got a certain decoration. I used to tell them where but now I will not tell them so they aren't ripped off. I also told my family, friends & neighbors not to do business with CBD anymore. Don't waste your money with a company that does not promote good customer service. I am done doing business with them & now you have been warned! Beware!!! Christmas Trees are very reasonably priced. Of course it wouldn't be a Tree Farm without the nicknacks. They sell tree stands, candles and other little items to please your shopping experience. I bought my Tree after Thanksgiving Day and to this day (January 9th), the tree is still with full pines and standing up straight. Not taking this tree down until it comes down by itself. The only issue I did have was with my Chase credit card (Visa), for some reason the 'Square' dongle didn't want to accept it although it accepted a Mastercard.

It looked like $30 if you pay at the door. The line from the highway wasn't too bad. We probably waited 15 minutes on a Tuesday around opening at 6 to turn into the stadium drive and another 30-40 or so to pass the ticket booth and experience the lights. The line was all the way out past the exit to the highway by the time we left around 6:45, so go at opening on a weeknight to avoid long wait. We did not stop in the indoor Santa/Santa pics, pony ride, concession area due to COVID and countless unmasked people but look forward to doing that in the future. For anyone who is CoVID-conscious, the woman at the entry ticket booth had gloves on and didn't touch my phone to scan, which is awesome. However, she did have her mask on as a chinstrap. Overall, great experience. Looking forward to making it a tradition.
