So I gave it another try after my friends told me they got new owners and it was by far delicious!!! But the attention to detail was awesome I went on to pay and then told them I would wait outside since I had my 14yr old, 7yr old and newborn in the car and they actually brought the food out to me. I recently discovered this place by accident and I was very happy with the service as well as the quality of food. Most places are cheap with their shrimp or chicken especially in their fried rice but not this place. Also their food taste fresh and it arrives to you (when you ask for delivery) nice and hot. Small and clean this restaurant is run by a friendly couple. Karen, one of the owners was very professional as well as personable when attending guests. I ordered a $20 special which came with enough food for 2-3 people. It was tasty and came out fresh. It's a small place with two tables that fit about 4 people each. This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Miami. I will say they are very friendly always which is one of the things I loved about this place (one reason for the two stars). However, the food on our last order was horrible! We ordered beef lo mein, chicken & broccoli, special fried rice and chicken wings. The chicken & broccoli had a cough syrup taste..gross! The lo mein and special fried rice had no taste. I liked the chicken wings which is the other reason why I gave them two stars, but my husband said there was too much breading on them. Delivery was quick and friendly, but I would have happily waited a bit longer if it meant getting edible food. Waste of $39! We just got delivery, ordered through Postmates. We ordered, honey garlic chicken, Singapore noodles, beef Szechuan, general Tao chicken, pan-fried gyoza, and ham fried rice. I received a text saying they didn't have the honey garlic chicken so I had to chose a substitute. So we chose teriyaki chicken. Turns out they sent us both honey chicken and teriyaki chicken and charged us for both. Besides this, the food was awful. The teriyaki chicken had zero flavor and actually tasted as if something was wrong with it. Had a bad aftertaste. As did the beef Szechuan. My wife couldn't eat it. The Singapore noodles weren't bad. Not much in flavor. Same with the general Tao. Our son liked his honey chicken. The dumplings were good. So after $130 we threw out the teriyaki chicken, and the Szechuan beef. Even w/o the Postmates charge, this is an expensive place. Not sure how it got 4-5 stars. At any rate this was our experience. read more
