a menu for a chinese restaurant

Stopped in for a late lunch, being in the area. In the mood for Chinese and saw the Yelp reviews. Seeing as there are only two tables China Chef's business is primarily take out. My wife and I ordered some food to be eaten there. I got a luncheon special that was pork lo mein and fried rice and an order of sesame wontons. My wife got a shrimp entrée. The food was brought to the table and was very good, especially the wontons. We had enough food for two full meals each and was only $18 for all of it. The place is nothing special in a strip mall but the food is very good, prices also good, and the service friendly.

Good food! Not typical takeout slop, actual distinct flavoring. Not drenched in oil. FRIENDLY staff. Clean! Awesome! PRICE IS FANTASTIC

The best food and the friendliest people. Excellent! There are at many Chinese restaurants in the area, but for me this is the best.

We moved away from this area years ago, but we were here visiting family and decided to try it…read moreagain, because we remembered liking it. Almost everything was terrible. Chicken and broccoli had rotten white pieces of broccoli and the chicken was mostly bad pieces. The sauce had the consistency of wet cat food, and smelled like it. It didn't taste good either. The beef and broccoli wasn't good. The beef was sliced ultra-thin and looked like it was on its last leg. The sauce was lame. The kung pao chicken had a decent sauce - not great, but decent. And nice veggies. But the chicken seemed like it was all the left-over chopped up dark-meat scraps and grizzle. Basically inedible. Sesame chicken wasn't that bad tasting but dark meat chicken. And poor quality meat. The sweet and sour chicken was ok but it's probably hard to mess up fried chicken with dipping sauce. The crab rangoons were good also. But I wouldn't frequent a restaurant if the only redeeming thing they make is an appetizer. Also, their online ordering system is awful. There are no descriptions for the dishes and you can't pay for your food online. You have to pay when you get there. It's a little bizarre and confusing. I wish they at least had a description for each dish and maybe even a picture on the online menu. Or they should post a picture of the actual store menu on their website. People may have no idea what moo goo gai pan is (I don't!). Pretty disappointing. But we aren't local so we won't be back no matter what.

I recently ordered from Eastern Empire Chinese & Thai Restaurant, and I couldn't be more impressed!…read moreI ordered the Chicken Lo Mein, which came with Roast Pork Fried Rice and an Egg Roll. I opted for delivery, and it arrived incredibly fast. Not only was it fast, but it was also so hot that we actually had to let it cool off before eating--something I rarely experience with delivery orders! The Chicken Lo Mein was packed with tender chicken, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh veggies, all coated in a delicious savory sauce. The Roast Pork Fried Rice was flavorful, and the Egg Roll was crispy and satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, making it an excellent value. If you're craving tasty Chinese and Thai cuisine with lightning-fast delivery, Eastern Empire is the place to go. I can't speak for the ambiance except I went to pick up a few times. It was clean and counter staff was friendly. Highly recommended!

Just waiting for it to all come back up and I know it will. Had Lo Mein, BBQ chicken and pork. All…read morefood was lukewarm, which is a terrible sign for buffet style food, as regulations specify that buffet food MUST be served at a certain temperature or it will become infected with bacteria causing food poisoning, which I certainly felt like I had from the moment that I left the food court. Only ate a partial amount and tossed the rest. Chicken was fatty, and the pork was as hard as a rock. Lo Mein may have been decent if it were served hot. Place has been here for many years, and I've eaten here quite a few times. It was never great, but as empty as the mall is known to be these days, it's obvious that the food stations just sit there for hours. It was really nasty and I will never go back. In all honesty, the whole court should just close. It's not needed or necessary, anymore.

The server replied that she didn't have any plates. Then I asked her again. She then gave me a plate. My boyfriend asked for a cup & she said they didn't have any. She was RUDE & SHE RUSHED ME. I won't go back there. She needed help because the line was long & she was the only one serving the food. We were there at about 1:00 PM. I do not accept rudeness in any restaurant. I just will not go back there again. It's pretty sad that people that work in a restaurant are rude & not kind. Guess they don't want my business again. Meris B.
