I ordered delivery from here, the boneless spare ribs were burnt to a crisp before I could even taste it I smelled the char but my issue with this place is that when I called and asked for them to remake it they said they would need me to bring the food in, after a long day at work the last thing I want to do is leave my home (hence delivery) they didn't budge so I gave in and brought the food in, her exact words were "if you don't want your food burnt you need to ask for it that way" so I asked for my money back and she got loud she did not want to refund my delivery charge! I call to tell them and the woman hands the phone over to a man who makes me repeat myself and then says they'll bring the right food over if we give the wrong food back. I'm sorry what? We just tried China Chef for the first time tonight. We ordered the beef egg Foo young and the pepper steak with egg rolls and pork fried rice. It was delicious and we will be going back. The employee that waited on us when picking up our order was nice too. When we got home, our food was exactly what we ordered. read more

I think that the food was the best Chinese I've had EVER. Thank you China Chef. :) The delivery guy was as sweet as pie and the guy on the phone had a nice sense of humor. The service all around was excellent. And in my whole life I have never ordered something with chicken on it and didn't get four tiny little pieces. My bowl was covered in chicken!!! So much of it. Terrible service! I'd like to think this is an isolated incident but who knows. I ordered online for delivery around 5pm. After an hour of waiting, I called the restaurant to ask how much longer it would be. The woman who answered the phone told me that they only had one driver that night and I was too far for delivery. I'm about 6 miles from them. I understand that it may have been out of range under the circumstances but I think it is completely unacceptable that I was never notified that I would not be recieving my order until I called them. read more

So totally disappointed! I ordered the lemon chicken and it said it came with greens. Well......I only got chicken. When I called them they said they changed the menu. I told them that their online menu as well as the menu they delivered with the food said it came with greens. I also said that they had an opportunity to let me know when I ordered, but they didn't. Long story short, they were not willing to bring me my greens, but said I could pick them up. Really??? Not only did I pay for a delivery fee, I also gave the driver a decent tip! The food is good but I do not recommend it for delivery purchases as the orders are not always taken down accurately including address which implies lack of attention to details and may be lack of communication skills. It doesn't always get delivered on time and the owner and the family do not like to be checked if the order was not delivered past the approximate delivery window given to the point of experiencing no customer appreciation for the business they provide as they feel (in their exact words) "WE DO NOT DEPEND ON YOU". I wonder why they declare themselves to be a delivery kind of business as they certainly lack the skills when it comes to delivering food. read more

Chinese Thursday at work was totally ruined by hair found in my food! I called to voice my disgust and they told me that they are willing to provide a re-order or credit if I bring my food to them so that they can see the hair. Worst Chinese Food I have ever had. The Chicken was rubbery and not fresh, and tasted fishy. My friend said her noodles were dry and flavorless and that she paid extra for a shrimp egg roll and got a regular egg roll instead. Called to complain and the employee tried to refute my complaints. i called to express my dismay. i was composed and kind....i was called a liar and hung up on by the female owner. i called back out of sheer shock from being treated to horrendously and rude beyond words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. again i was virtually called a liar by another american guy working there. my brother recommended this restaurant to me. i loved their hot and sour soup 2x. however one night recently i offered to bring food over to a friends and went there. the hot and sour soup tasted like dish water. i am allergic to onions and reiterated i didn't want onions in my food; no problem the woman owner told me. i ordered something benign for my friend; she doesn't like spicey food. well we get it home, my food full of onions and her dry as a bone. no white sauce, no liquid. they seemed really perplex while i was ordering too. i called to express my dismay. i was composed and kind....i was called a liar and hung up on by the female owner. i called back out of sheer shock from being treated to horrendously and rude beyond words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. again i was virtually called a liar by another american guy working there. i was 20-30 mins away. i wanted credit to my account, but NO...bring food back because you are a liar and we don't believe you. i will never go back nor will my brother his family or anyone we know. customer service non-existent. never have i been treated so rude or hung up on with the exception of jade palace. same experience...same owners? never again. read more
