China doll, come on, I left one bad review now, I got another one. I had 3, but I didn't do the second one. When I ordered the cheesecake and it was hard as a rock. I ordered buy one get 1 free, 20 oz sodas, Coca-Cola and a sun kist the Coca-Cola. Somebody drank some of it, no passez, no sizzle. It wasn't even attached to the top part. When you pop it open, it was already popped open. I'm not sure if someone in a restaurant did it or the delivery person. I don't know, but it was opened. This is crazy. China Doll is my restaurant when I eat delicious fresh Chinese. I enjoy their chicken and broccoli with white rice, 4 chicken wings with French fries and their house special Lo- Mein. Service is always straight forward. Spacious to order and wait for your food. You could see right in the kitchen is always clean. Didn't enjoy my slushy drink I mix all the flavors. We've been loyal customers for well over 15 years already from when she first had her first location on Drew Street always the finest freshest Chinese food ever but just this evening so disappointed .. Look at our Egg Rolls ?? They are miniature size with hardly no stuffing inside them but plenty of dough very dry ..... Look at our steam dumplings used to be eight per order now there are five also there's no meat in the middle. They are empty. Very sad !!! 18 bucks not worth it !!! Rather order a pizza !!! I ordered from this place 3 times. The first two, the food was really good. The third time, the rib tips were n the verge of rotten and were drenched in bbq sauce to mask the spoiled meat. It made me sick and I threw out the food. They are pricey but the food was good 'most' ofc the time. They have plenty of business... why play games like this??? Although they were timely. I see that I cannot order from them again. Fast service is great. But efficient service is better. I was jipped of broccoli. I asked & paid for a large. Instead, I get a large portion of rice. 2 I'm all about presentation. The ribs looked very used and thrown in there. Yes they have a lit if customers. But making sure the food looks delicious and portions are correct is not that challenging. I don't like bringing down businesses. But i just cant get over the deception. read more

The food is good. Sometimes the staff here can have bad attitudes and sometimes they can have good attitudes. The restaurant is pretty clean. I definitely recommend the homemade iced tea as I pretty much do with all Chinese restaurants. read more

This is very SOLID Chinese food. I've never had this particular dish I ordered nailed by any other restaurant......until now. I ordered the general Tso Shrimp and it was PERFECT. The sauce was yummy, the shrimp was cooked perfectly, not mushy whatsoever which has always been the case everywhere else. They also give extra broccoli and enough for the next day or to share. I also ordered the Chinese donuts and they had entirely too much sugar on them but If you simply brush some of it off they are pretty yummy, though, it really is just sweet bread and sprinkled sugar Lol I do also think powdered sugar is always a much tastier, smoother and elegant way to make a sugared dessert as the granulated sprinkled sugar gives a "gritty sand" feel on the teeth. Thai tea isn't something I'd recommend. Taste is off. I'll just leave it at that. Overall, a great experience and I'll definitely be back. So I was in the area and this place was a recommendation from a friend, the service was great, the lady that took our order spoke great English and understood everything with changes and add ons, they take debit and credit so that's a plus! The food was very good as well, no complaints at all. The only reason for that less star was that I did try calling for 30mins before getting there to order in advanced and they just wouldn't answer! And parking around the area sucks! Other than that.. good place for Chinese takeout! read more
