    14. Buffalo Fried Jumbo Shrimp (10) I opted out of getting rice.
    Akeema R.

I'm a snob when it comes to American Chinese food take out. Before a few months ago. I never tried Hardee's. My boyfriend insisted it was better than my usual spot. So I decided to give them a try. He was right. Now they are expensive. I've never paid less than $15 for any meal I've eaten. The chicken wings are great. Their Buffalo shrimp with broccoli got me in a chokehold. It's not your typical buffalo sauce. It's not really that spicy but it's savory with a hint of sweet and heat. I like it and they give you their version of bleu cheese. I do love that they give you 10 jumbo shrimp versus the 5 X-large you may typically get with a shrimp dish from Chinese takeout places. They're pretty quick and if you're a regular and creature of habit like my bf they know you by order and face. They need a reward system for all the money he's spent there. They accept card payments but they charge random fees and it's not worth it considering how expensive they already are. Bring cash.

Spicy salt and pepper shrimps. Sautéed broccoli. Excellent.

Hardee's food is honestly, goooood. Hardee's cooks seem to understand that MSG isn't an actual seasoning and that all Chinese food does not have to taste like it's served from an assembly line. My current fave is the crispy fried shrimp with sauteed broccoli, topped with jalapeños. Hardee's food is never greasy and again, I detect the flavors of real herbs and spices or at least a little seasoning salt.

WOW! Had this marked in my bookmarks because I'm always picking in ppl's food when they order so I knew I needed to get it myself one day. Let me tell ya'll about Hardee's briefly... Best Chinese take out and here's why: Each dish is blasted with flavor and seasoning. The Chinese man swears he's a rapper so his urban dictionary is flowing when he speaks (be aware it'll catch you off guard). The service is great, the place is clean, and the food once again is too damn good to pass up on. They put other Chinese food to shame. Their seafood is BEYOND DELICIOUS like this place needs to be everywhere. They give you A LOT of shrimp. Not the skimpy 5 pcs. other places will sink in the plate with 1000 fries. You're guaranteed to get at least 15-20 shrimps with your shrimp dish you might even get tired of eating it. SIKE! A little more pricey than your average Chinese spot but definitely well worth it. Thank GOD this place isn't by my house. I'd be addicted and possibly very overweight.

I think this one of the best neighborhood type chinese take-out spots. They have your regular chinese food you'll find in the typical spots...but they have added bonuses! ..Like philly cheesesteaks, turkey burgers, mussels in a wonderful black bean sauce, honey buffalo shrimps. The choices goes on and on. I found a new favorite here....The fish choices -- king fish, talapia, salmon or flounder. They grill, fry or steam it!. And the guy in the front - John...is the coolest Asian you'll find..This is a have to try spot. Call ahead cause it's always a long wait but it's well worth the wait. This is the same guys that was on Myrtle Ave. in Fort Greene. But due to a fire they have relocated to Crown Heights and they are better than ever!

"BOMB ASS SEAFOOD!" I went on a Friday night, crowded and definitely not a long wait, the kitchen is cranking the orders out! Steamed, grilled and fried are the ways you can get your fish which is (tilapia, salmon and flounder) and the shrimp is fresh and not that frozen crap! The 30 piece shrimp is actually seasoned with real seasonings and has a very light breading. You can also get it grilled or steamed! Did I also mention the shrimp is fresh?!? Lol yes, I did!!!!! Saw the chicken wings yum oh! Will order those next time and the other standard Chinese food. The oil is not some overly burnt oil, it tastes light and is very fresh! Will definitely be a repeat visitor. *parking is tough on weekends, might have to park on Park Place, single lane no double parking allowed!*

Ordered thru the app....food was ready by the time I walked to pick it up - no wait. Garlic fried shrimp we're good!

I've been going to this place for a couple years. Their food is always fresh. I'm also very picky when it comes to fried wings !!! I love HARDEES wings not to big and crispy. There's usually a long wait in the evening and on weekends, so call before you go.

High concentration of soy sauce. No bueno.
    Lawrence L.

Sharp decline. Not sure what happened, but even if the speed of your services increases, the quality of your service, shouldn't decline. Why, if I ask for very little sauce on my lo mein, do the new guys, decide to douse it with soy sauce, like a Pyro maniac does a fire with gasoline. I haven't eaten here in a long time. I'm really disappointed by this. Especially when I have a long day at work, and am craving food I haven't had in a while. Please go back to the way you used to do things, or in going to have to stick with the new hibachi spot I found, that actually delivers. You guys don't deliver, and now it's become a double entendre.

The ceviche was probably the best ceviche I've ever had in my life. It was blood orange based, but the citrus was really well balanced. The king oyster mushroom dish was soo delicious. The sauce and the texture of the mushrooms were to die for. I've salivating thinking about them right now! The fish was also so amazing. The bottoms were so crispy, it was almost like it was a layer of potato chip! Really great texture, and the fish meat was cooked to perfection. Really sad that they're closing, but looking forward to whatever the chef/restaurant team does next!

It's a beautifully designed space, and we went in the evening so it was dimly lit and had good tunes, contributing to an intimate and cool vibe. The service throughout was good both by our primary server and the rest of the team that was bringing out dishes. For the food, we did not feel that it was a strong start, but the ending was great! The first dish to come out was their cornbread, which we agreed was very light and had a super tender texture, but there was just nothing special about the taste profile to us. The second dish were their prawns. We couldn't put our finger on the off-putting flavor in there, but we agreed that something just wasn't right and almost tasted spoiled. You also had to work a bit to dissect the prawns and remove the heads and skin. To work for it and then not enjoy the taste wasn't a great combo for us, unfortunately. It started turning around with their sweet potatoes, a type I'd never had before that were "baby" and purple on the outside while white inside. They served the potatoes with a gorgeously whipped Greek yogurt that added the exact right amount of tang to balance the sweet potato and the herby topping. The stars of the night were the coconut basmati rice and the lamb shank. My goodness! The rice dish was so complex from a flavor and texture profile and just hit all the right notes for us, and that lamb! Definitely one of the best lamb dishes I've had - Impossibly tender and seasoned to perfection. One other note I'll make regarding drinks is that they did not have a strong wine list. I ended up ordering a red, but later heard our waiter recommend against getting their wine to another table and suggesting their cocktails and mocktails instead. Just something to keep in mind if you're a wine lover!

This place was the winner, and it was everyone's first time. We got in at our reserved time, and we had to wait about 5 minutes before our table was ready. Once it was, we were taken care of and quite frankly had no idea what treat we were in for! Let's start with the drinks. They have a drink on the menu called Celadon City. Who won the staff as a pokémaniac?! I had to get it just for the name. The rice vodka, yuzu, melon liqueur, and other flavors made it a fantastic, summery drink. My friends got the Smooth Landing & Smooth Talker ... One was a fantastic dirty martini and the other had the best bite of ginger. The food... Oh my God. We decided to split the breads and spreads and burrata... Each came with their housemade grilled focaccia, and the smoked paprika hummus and ricotta with chili honey? WHEW! The burrata dish with the sweet potato, pesto and tomato jam was a hit too. The menu didn't even say I'd have a balsamic drizzle on top! All of that was just the warm up... My gnocchi dish was spectacular. I'm not even a big mushroom person, but those oyster mushrooms and charred kale were a hit in the pasta. My friends' gigli pasta and mussels were great too. We ended up sharing a bottle of white wine as well, and the dinner was truly a 5/5. 0 I would absolutely go back, and it seems like their menu changes every now and then. I'm looking forward to the next time! Even if it's just for a cocktail.
