This is the first time I've ordered from here and we made a large order. Chicken wings and vegetable egg roll, rice, broccoli with garlic sauce, and not spicy, chicken lo mein, vegetable, egg foo young , vegetable fried rice, general toes, chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, This dinner was so delicious !! The audacity of this establishment is wild. I placed order via GrubHub at 3:53 pm, order was expected between 4:10-4:20pm. Order arrived 4:50pm. Because it was 30 mins later than expected, the hot food sat sealed in the container making it soggy when it arrived, the wings weren't in a sealed bag so naturally they arrived cold. I contacted grubhub and they refunded my money. 2 minutes later I receive 4 phone calls & texts trying to tell me they want to come back to grab the food, for what reason but to resell it? after it was in my hands? Never seen something like this before read more

it wouldn't even let me put 0 stars. went in there for simple chicken, the lady at the counter was so rude. she wouldn't make me food because it was too "small" and that i should go somewhere else. okay i just wanted CHICKEN!! after i said you don't want my money she proceeded to then speak in chinese to her counterpart in a rude tone, truth be told i'm a strong independent white women who speaks Fluent chinese. i won't repeat what she said cause horrid and she's disgusting. i would never recommend this place..the steamed chicken looks like a gelatin putrid pile of crap..good luck to whoever eats here. my friend the other day actually ate there and got food poisoning read more

not going to eat lunch there again! I shopped at this "Asian Cafe" (yeah I put on quote because it's not a cafe, it's a typical Chinese restaurant that you see a lot at your neighborhoods) for lunch. What I ordered was the Pad Thai, they don't add tofu on the Pad Thai only vegetables, chicken or beef, which is disappointing. However, the guy said he could do it with tofu, thank god. When I got my food, the Pad Thai looks a bit unusual compare to other Pad Thais' that I ordered. The noodles taste a bit hard and the sauce taste like a mixture of duck sauce and ketchup. The season that they put on the Pad Thai is questionable because some of it might be either antenna of an insect or a small hair. Move on to the tofu, it taste ok and they cut it like they're french fries. Overall I don't like their Pad Thai, but the tofu that the guy made it for me taste ok. read more

We were on the hunt for an open chinese place during the coronavirus quarantine and after seeing that most of the places in the area were closed, we found this place in howard beach via yelp. They picked up when we called to see what time they were closing (9pm) and had the inside safeguarded with plastic sheets above the counter. Onto the food...the shrimp and broccoli was quite good, shrimps were big and plump and the broccoli was not overcooked mush. Fried rice had ok flavor. The general tsos was also decent and fresh. The downsides were the fried chicken wings we got that looked nothing like the earlier pics on yelp...possibly due to pandemic wing shortage??? Wings were dried out and overcooked. Wonton soup and egg rolls were ok, soup broth tasted fresh. Overall, we would return. read more

Food is better than most Asian restaurant places in the area. In this area, it is hard to find dumplings that don't taste like they are mostly dough and little filling. We had the chicken steamed dumplings. They had a thin wrapper, with very flavorful filling. My toddler loved them too. Scallion pancake was a bit greasy, could've have more scallions in it. We also ordered Pork buns, General Tso chicken with broccoli, and those were very good. Broccoli wasn't soggy. Not too oily where we feel bloated afterwards. The main thing that bothered me occurred when going to pick it up. We went to go get it. Left before they said it would be ready to have time to get there. They called us to say it was ready & asked if we were coming. I told them that someone should be there in less than 10 min, as they ended up getting stuck on the Belt Pkwy. Two min later they called back again to ask where we were. Again, I said that someone is on their way. They continuously called every 2 minutes until we picked it up. I would understand if it was close to closing time. But, it was only 630pm on a Saturday. I found it to be pretty rude of them to be so incessant. read more

Found right in crossbay this place has a decent and good quality of Chinese and Thai food they're quick and reasonably priced. With so many tastes in one family we were all able to find something to enjoy. From the curry pineapple fried rice to the lo menu and wonton soup and dumplings to your staple chicken and broccoli all tasty. After reading some great recent reviews on YELP, I decided to try Asian Cafe. I loved everything I ordered. The food delivery arrived earlier than anticipated and the wonton egg drop soup was still so hot that I didn't have to even reheat it. The shrimp lo mein, pan fried pork buns and dim sum were all delicious. I can't wait to order again and try something new! read more

I was on my way to the beach at Rockaway and decided to stop by here to get some Chinese takeout. The food was very satisfying and portions were large. We ordered the coconut fried rice, chicken lo mein, vegetable fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken (crispy and the sauce comes on the side). They have hot sauce and guava candy and total comes out to about only 20$! My go to place from now on since the owners are so nice too. read more

This place changed hands and quality many times so I haven't been here in awhile as my last experience wasn't good . During this quarantine period they were the only place open around here and I gave them (new owners) a try . I was rewarded with great food I had pork fried rice that was full of flavor and pork which is a rarity and chicken chow mein that tasted like I remember as a kid . Really enjoyed our meal and I also recommend the crab Rangoon and they make great fries . No smiles here and sticky business but the food is great Chinese American style food and that's all that matters . read more

The place that was here before and the place that is here now is the same garbage that once was unfortunately I was praying that there would be finally a quality establishment to order Chinese takeout but I was wrong this place proves that nothing good will ever come from this location next time I will make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on Ritz crackers, I would have enjoyed that more as you can see in the photograph that I'm posting I don't even want the food to leak out of the garbage bag so I put it in a double insulated bag from UPS then I sealed the bag and then threw it into the garbage receptacle read more

So after a hard days work all I wanted was an open Chinese food spot. So I found this spot on my way home. Of course I didn't check my food and what I got should've never been served to me or anyone. I called, and the lady I got said I'll replace the chicken wings.however the pork dried rice tasted bad, the beef lo mein tasted burned and my friend wontons. I had conflicting feelings about ordering from them: On one hand, they have a 4-star (out of 5) rating. On the other hand, those few who complained said they took too long to deliver. do not order from them. first of all their driver was late over 40mins and couldnt speak english. after that when i started to eat my food i found this metal piece in my food. i called them immediately and spoke to the manager. he tells me oh could be from the pot or cleaning stuff . are you fucken kidding me, so thats your excuse so im supposed to eat that. manager is horrible too. didnt apology or said i will give you the money back. this place should be closed, dont know how to run a business!!! read more
