This is the first chinese take out place that actually charges for hot oil ....I mean we go there for the food but if service is bad, we are not coming back. This is our go-to Chinese take-out spot. They also have some nice Thai options. The food is always consistent, Henry's fried dumplings and their pad-Thai are 2 of our favorites. They get busy so be sure to call in your order ahead of time. They have 2 younger guys who usually man the phones, the shorter-younger one used to be a bit of a jerk, he has since cooled down and although he's not particularly nice, he's quick and all about getting you and your food out the door. The older, taller, thinner guys calls everyone "Boss", it's almost become derogatory and annoying at this point. Maybe one day i'll tell him or someone else will. The used to have an option to pay and order on-line, for one reason or another it went away and it is missed. Just ordered the lunch special with a hot & sour soup here. Food is very tasty compared to other Chinese places and I'm very picky. The hot & sour soup lacked vegetables but the flavor was spot on. The chicken with string beans were very good. Lacked spiciness when I asked for extra spicy but much better than most places. I'd definitely order from here again. Much better than Komodo & Golden Garden. Portions were less than the normal but enough to fill anyone for lunch. Price I paid for lunch was $9 & change. Food was bland. We didn't get the white rice that came with our dinner, as stated, because we ordered fried rice as a side. When I called, the manager said she didn't think we'd need the white rice because we had fried rice, even though menu says white rice comes with a dinner. My daughter happens to like white rice. Visiting friends in the area. Normally I'm not crazy about Chinese food however this opened my eyes as to why. The Mei fun was so fresh and delicious. The General Tsao's chicken was delicious. Sesame garlic shrimp amazing. Boneless ribs good. Four of us ate and enough leftovers for another meal. Nothing was greasy at all ( which is why I generally didn't like). I only order food here because I'm 5 minutes away from them and my fiance loves their shrimp lo mein, egg rolls, and Henry's dumplings. I've tried their other dishes but I'm not really a fan. Recently, I noticed their egg rolls got a lot smaller and there were barely any meat inside. Also, they keep messing up my orders so when I come to pick it up, it is never ready. The last time I was there, the lady thought I ordered steamed dumplings but when I told her I ordered fried dumplings, she charged me an extra dollar (which she didn't tell me about until after I asked about it). I come here all the time and this is the first time I was charged extra for fried dumplings... Is anyone else being charged extra for fried dumplings vs steamed dumplings? read more

Seen this place a few times so I decided to stop by and give it a shot. Since we moved from Hawaii I haven't had good Chinese food. Ordered the sweet sour chicken, plain fried rice and some spring rolls. Food was great! Big portions, quick service, and reasonable pricing. I was also surprised by their healthy options. You can sub white rice for organic brown rice, and you can have anything that usually comes fried steamed instead.I will be coming back to try other items from their extensive menu. read more

This is my second time ordering from this place and it's the last. We ordered sesame chicken combination, let's start by saying there was no chicken just fried batter, the broccoli was Like straw and the fried rice is tasteless and the worst I ever had. What really is pure greed, they charge me 50 cents for house duck sauce that I didn't get, plus a 1.25 for house mustard and 85 cents for a bag of noodles. China Express is better than any other Chinese restaurants around! I've been eating there for years and before that I ate at China Express 2, I lived nearby. Both are delicious!!! The Crispy Shrimp House Special is amazing! They are very accommodating. I like heat when I get the broccoli with garlic sauce (another favorite) and they make it extra spicy when I ask. The young guy at the front counter is such a nice person guy. From soups, eggrolls to more complex meals they cook to perfection. read more
