The romaine in the salad was a bit tough, needed more carrot slivers, but the sesame dressing was delicious. The glazed salmon was moist and flavorful but the spinach, broccoli and mushrooms sautéed in garlic underneath had obviously been sitting on the plate before the salmon was plated, because the vegetables weren't hot. We got moved to a regular table and then we were told they forgot about us. The service was very slow, considering how dead the place was. The rice noodles were as hard as rocks. PF Changs is a good fusion chain. Do not come hear expecting an authentic Chinese food experience. The ambience is very nice. it's a very high-end dark place inside the restaurant. And Service is very good. The staff is very polite and there to answer any questions you need. Food is hit or miss. I consider it their signature dish, the lettuce wraps is always amazing. The Kung pow chicken was very course and fried almost burnt. The Korean transparent noodles did not have much flavor to them. As I said, it's very nice place to go, but it's like an old casino in the ambience and the look and feel. Everything really does need to be updated including the menu. read more

Typical P.F. Chang's but service was great. I was by myself so I opted to sit at the bar. Happy hour just started so it wasn't crowded just yet but as I left almost every seat at the bar was occupied. My drink was so good and strong that I had to behave myself and not order a second one. Shrimp Dumplings were delicious I could have just went for another order of those instead of my entree. We are frequent visitors to PF Chang and have brought several of our neighbors to enjoy a lovely evening there. We were met this time by our server, Brett, who was refreshingly friendly ( as we have come to expect there!) He was one of the reasons we are "frequent fliers". Attentive, accurate and very helpful, we knew once again we were in for a great dinner. We enjoyed the Tiger LI Iced Tea, and the Old Fashioned, all delicious. I went to PF Chang's at the Ocean County Mall for the Taylor Swift Soirée celebrating the queen herself and her newest album, Life of a Showgirl! The special event menu was such a clever twist -- with curated cocktails and entrées "Taylored" to Miss Swift and her hunky fiancé, #87 himself. This chain's location in Toms River is only a few weeks old. So they have a few kinks to get out of their system. The decor is smart. The food is excellent for the most part and the service seemed a bit rough but ok. Staff is friendly, service by the sub staff was very good. Formal napkins with chopsticks and the usual silverware were rolled up on the table. Check out the pix for the food: Edamame, Shishito peppers, chicken pad Thai, sesame chicken and chocolate soufflé. All excellent. The music was horrendously loud. Conversation is part of the dining process, therefore this must be ironed out. 3.5 stars. read more

We ordered take out a few days ago, I got kung pow chicken, my wife got lo mein, and we got a side of wanton soup. The fried rice I got with my chicken was the worst fried rice I've ever tasted in my life. It tasted burnt and dry. My wife's lo mein noodles also tasted very bland and dry. Wanton soup tasted alright to me but wife didn't like it. Low rating is because they managed to make fried rice taste worse than dog food and couldn't make decent lo mein. I don't know if they just refuse to put sauces on their dishes or what. Anyway wife and I are crossing it off our list of places to eat forever read more

The food took 40 mins to get to use. Service sucks. The service is so busy putting signs in the other tables while I'm missing my cup for my tea. Then he came back to me multiple times saying there's a problem with the computer that he needs to get our order again this is the 5th time he asked us. Then on top of that still missed my mother in laws drink‍. Ambiance is ok but I don't care about the ambiance if the service sucks. This is why the restaurant is pretty empty when we got here. Dined here for New years eve lunch. I don't get why they don't have a better rating. The food is fresh, delicious and unique. The service is excellent and it's a pretty place. Bought extra for take away. Our special favorite is the sangria, Tanvir is the best. He does it all, bartends, is an excellent and attentive server with such a warm and friendly attitude. Best thing was the chicken lettuce wraps! Korean noodles were better than I expected but overall okay. The crispy honey chicken was pretty crispy! I wasn't a fan of the sauce's thick texture though. Open environment but the seating is a little awkward. Not the most intimate setting as tables are just in rows on the floor. She says they are supposed to be 6 wontons . Did they think I wouldn't notice . It's a rainy crappy day and I wanted soup . Then we ordered crab Rangoon appetizer . Was terrible over fried , dry and barely any filling . Was not made fresh . Then I ordered honey crispy shrimp which I love and always get in ac . This sucked too . Ocean county got shortchanged again! First let me say I am a fan of PF Changs, I have eaten in the one in Freehold and several in CA. I love the experience, and it sort of feels like a nice resturant I was excited to see the one in Ocean County Mall go up. But now I am here I am really disappointed. It feels like a cafe. It's boring, boring, boring. Open plan tables and chairs thrown down, no dividers, no terracotta statues. Come on really. The floors are cheap tile and not swept so shows all the muck, Why? Why? Why? Do the corporate idiots think we in Ocean County won't appreciate a well designed restaurant space? Food was okay but not as special as I thought for the atmosphere and hype. I had high expectations....Mom and pop Chinese will be the way I'll continue to go. I paid $25.59 for take out and ordered Crispy Honey Chicken + fried rice (4.50 up charge). The food was ok, even though I waited for the food it was not crispy. Almost like they did not fry the chicken long enough causing it to have a thin layer of un fried batter. The chicken was good and had the texture you would expect from real chicken, a step up from panda. The fried rice was good! You could taste the soy sauce and the texture was firm and held together well. The rice saved the meal because the chicken lacked flavor. Overall I thought is was just ok, but for $25 I was expecting it to be much better than a Panda express meal. I wouldn't recommend them, but if you haven't tried them before you may want to give something else on the menu a shot. read more

As far as the pork lo-mein, It was not fresh, not even warm - the pork was cut in very odd chunks and sizes and was all different colors - not appealing to the nose or eyes...the lo-mein was dark and had to have been cooked a long time ago... Cocktails are not good. Get a glass of wine you know what it will taste like. Wonton soup tastes like chicken soup with wontons and shrimp. Wontons In the soup were very good though. Shrimp Lo Mein I didn't like it tasted like a lot of salt and also sweet noodles were also not good, they tasted like hard spaghetti and chicken fried rice wasn't good either. The rice tasted like microwave uncle bens and seasoning was off. I won't be back sorry to say. I have been to other locations and they've been better. Maybe they just need time to get acclimated. First time I came here, I was impressed but like every other PF Changs consistency is not their strong point when it comes to service. I walked in planning to sit at the bar but had to Find a place that wasn't fill with dirty dishes, napkins,glasses. The bar was a disgusting mess and practically empty. What are these people thinking? Someone only started to clean off the bar after they realized I was annoyed not being able to find a place to sit. Still,the dirty shit I took the picture of was there from when I sat down till I left. About 40 minutes. The food is decent but the shrimp tempura sushi was a ripoff. One shrimp cut in half. Half sticking out on each end. The help seems lost. Reminded me of a Bunch of college kids that probably never went out to eat in a decent restaurant. I hope they get their shit together. Plenty of better Asian places where you don't get turned off as soon as you walk in the door. Now tonight's visit has me questioning whether I'll go back a third time. read more

Let me start off by saying do not go here! PF Changs should be embarrassed to serve Chinese Food like this! They used to be an excellent restaurant 20 years ago, but they have gone so far downhill that they are now digging a hole. On the bright the Pear Asian Mojito was delicious and our waitress was very nice! How they can even call this Chinese Food I have no idea the Mongolian beef was dried beef with nothing but scallions on it not even enough sauce to put on the brown rice. Their pork lomein is completely tasteless. And the wonton soup was like drinking water with mushrooms on it, tasteless. The crab Rangoon were overdone and fishy tasting.
