Worst Chinese Fast Food experience I have ever had. Here are some pointers so you guys won't repeat the experience. Point 1. Absolutely do not order the salt and pepper chicken and if you do, make sure to tell them to reduce the sodium. They were about as salty as this review. Point 2. Make sure to check your order before you leave. They forgot to include my fried rice inside the box where the salty chickens were. Point 3. Don't expect a refund or exchange if you become dissatisfied with the food. They literally told me that the salty chicken was made like so. Maybe their other menu dishes are their Forte but definitely not the salt and pepper chicken. And I'm not even going to return again to figure it out. Point 4. The menu reads "Fried Plantains" but it's really fried sweet plantains. They must not understand or care about the semantics of food label accuracy. Point 5 and Final. Every positive review this place has ever had must've been from them or their employees because I'd believe in unicorns first before believing they have anything that'll cause someone to plug in 5 stars in their reviews. I'm originally from Orlando and I wanted to find a decent Chinese restaurant. This one was walking distance from my hotel and it turned out to be unfortunate that the world's shittiest Chinese fast food joint is in close proximity. I ordered chicken with cashews nuts but what they brought me was not even close. The cashews were missing, the chicken was deep fried, it had big chunks of green pepper. The brought it too my table without silverware. When I brought the problems to the attention of the crew, they said (about the fried chunks), "That's the way we do it here." This restaurant opened a few months ago, it's extremely close to where I live, so I tried it out and have been hooked ever since. I have never had anything bad or mediocre, the food is consistently good. Before trying them here I never liked egg rolls, but these egg rolls are so delicious, now I'm a changed woman lol. There are other Chinese restaurants very close to this location, but this is by far the best one. I recommend this place if you love Chinese food. read more

Currently traveling so I am without a car and tight on cash. Luckily, I found China Gourmet on a 3rd party app and was able to order on my mobile and pay through the app. I ordered the chicken curry and General Tao's shrimp. A large order of white rice was also included, along with a free pork eggroll with my order. There is a $20 minimum and a $3 delivery fee. My meal was $30+ with tip. They delivered the food in less than 30 minutes! Everything was nestled in a nice recycled box, which I think is way more enviro-friendly than a brown bag and plastic bag. The shrimp was delicious; large prawn-like shrimp, breaded and swimming in General Tao's sweet and sour sauce. Bits of broccoli is scattered throughout the entree. The chicken curry was okay, a little lacking. There were barely any carrots and potatoes but there was plenty of onions (I like onions so I didn't mind too much). The curry flavor only hits you for a second, but overall it was a little bland. Neither dish was spicy, I had ordered the dish "medium" online. The pork eggroll was a little soggy and for some reason, it was pink inside. Not that the pork meat was pink, the entire filling was pink?! It was okay; I mean, it was free. I had requested extra hot sauce and some garlic chili sauce - I got neither request fulfilled. Overall, it was okay. I'm have never been inside this restaurant because it's our go-to Chinese food delivery place. That being said, I can't speak to what the place looks like or the cleanliness (though in my imagination I like to think it's the cleanest restaurant on the planet). The food is good, delivery Chinese. They loose a star because something is not right with the egg drop soup... way too gelatinous for our taste. Otherwise the food is exactly what I expect it to be. Not to greasy, no msg, lots of sauces on the side. They don't usually send silverware, but no big deal. We have plenty of that at home, but I'm sure they'd send it if we ask. The delivery always shows up when we expect it to, and the people on the phone are always really nice. Always honor coupons and what not. Our go-to items are: pork lomein, pork fried rice, bourbon chicken, wanton soup, and chicken and broccoli. Nothing crazy. read more

We ordered delivery , got the special fried rice and a pint of honey chicken with wantons for appetizer. All that for under $20 and it fed 2 people perfectly, we were actually stuffed! The food was sooo fresh and it came burning hot as if it was just taken out of the fryer , not to mention the wait time was 50-60 minutes and it arrived early in about 20 minutes which was even better! This is the first time my boyfriend and i order from here. We read reveiws and thought we'd give it a shot since every one said it was great. We'd have to disagree. First when ordering over the phone the person taking the order couldn't tell me if they had soup or not. He was very hard to understand. On a positve note the food came quickly and hot. The quality of the food was prettty bland and lacking the flavors we expected. We normally order general tso chicken and beef with broccoli so we assumed it would be yummy. What made me think that by ordering here I would actually get Chinese food? Spent $53 on delivery this evening. The potstickers were dough heavy and thick, the filling was a dark unidentifiable brown blob, so those ended up in the trash immediately. The General Tso's chicken was tasteless, over fried and the sauce was more like a red goopy soup....that followed the postickers... into the trash it went. Mongolian chicken was next, lots of onions, I mean LOTS of onions and nothing much of anything else. Can you guess my next move? Yep, trash can. I can't believe how poor quality and taste this meal was, I should have just given my $50 to charity, I would have felt better. Total crap! I've been sick, so I didn't celebrate Thanksgiving this year. We were hungry and the only place I could find on Grubhub that was open and delivering was this place. Man I wish I would've just grabbed some leftovers I had in the fridge instead of ordering from here. I ordered egg drop soup, which somehow was really greasy and arrived cold. I also ordered the egg foo young combo, which was also really greasy as well as the rice that came with it and the gravy was full of lumps. The honey chicken was dripping grease, soggy and cold also. New restaurant, great location next to the Publix that I always go to. I always make my order first and by the time I finish shopping my food is hot and ready, so I don't have to wait long. The decor is beautiful!! The tables, bathroom and dining area have a nice design. The place is always clean. Their food is amazing! This is an awful place. Food is terrible, service stinks. Went in once and ordered stir fried vegetables to go, as I got home and made ready for dinner the vegetables were over cooked in a cup of grease. Ordered delivery on another occasion and the driver got lost, brought the wrong order and the wonton soup looked like it was a week old! These people giving good reviews are probably employees and family friends forced to write a nice story or else "you won't get your spring roll!"
