We ordered the pork Shumai (comes in 6) each one has a lot of protein. It almost felt like a meatball wrapped. The carne de res chaufa was the recommendation and the Smokey flavor was amazing. This is my second visit in the past three months, and I absolutely love the food here. The wonton soup is one of the best I've ever had--I crave it all the time. My favorite dish is the Pollo Chi Jau Kay: the chicken is incredibly crunchy and delicious, and the sauce tastes like a rich, savory gravy. The chifa dishes are always packed with protein and vegetables, and everything is made fresh to order. Portions are very generous, two entrée's plus a soup could easily feed a family of four. My partner is peruvian and loves this place. Food is delicious , asian spin on peruvian, favorite dish is the lomo saltado! I went here because of all their great reviews. We came for lunch and we were seated right away and our server was friendly and came to our table right away to give us our menus and to take our drink orders. We asked for water and they bought us cold water in a glass bottle with a silver cup full of ice with a tong to grab the ice. The place was simple, clean, wide open with comfortable seating. The parking lot was busy but we were able to find parking. Unfortunately their lunch menu had to be translated for us. It was in Spanish, but their main menu was in English and Spanish. I ordered from their lunch menu. I had chicken with vegetable and brown rice with the choice of fried wonton. My girlfriend had from their main menu vegetables with noodles. The food was good. It was fresh except for the chicken I had in my order. It was very dry and in small pieces and I would not recommend the chicken. For a few dollars more I would order from their main menu. Except for the dry small chicken pieces in my order the food was good. Vegetables were cooked perfect and seasoned well. First, let me clarify what a Chifa is if you are unfamiliar with the term. Chifa refers to Peruvian Chinese food and restaurants serving that type of cuisine. I was craving Chifa, and I'm so happy I finally went to try Chifa Du Kang. It is tough to recreate that cuisine style here in the U.S., but Chifa Du Kang has the traditional flavor as if you were eating at any Chifa in Peru. We went for lunch, and they had a lunch and a regular menu. When you visit a Chifa in Peru, typically, you order family combos with rice, noodles, proteins, these amazing fried wontons, and drinks. This time, my party ordered from the lunch menu options. It was amazing and exactly what I needed. Portions were substantial for the price. The Arroz Chaufa (rice) was so tasty! My husband ordered a lomo saltado Chifa style, from the regular menu, which was so delicious, cooked in a wok. We all loved our food choices, and I can't wait to be back in Miami the next time I'm there. And don't forget that a Chifa is incomplete without Inka Kola (Peru's most popular soda). Service was fantastic and the place has plenty of seats to accommodate small and large groups. My only recommendation is to be patient with parking especially during peak hours. I need to figure this out. Peruvian Chinese cooking blended together? While not quite the antipode of China Peru is 10,709.40 miles away from China! And yet somehow there is a cooking style in Peru called Chifa Peruano that brings these cooking style together. I have no idea why this would work. Yet not since Resee's put chocolate in peanut butter (or was it peanut butter in chocolate) has there been a culinary union so perfect. Chifa Du Kang is simply spectacular. I have now eaten here about a dozen times. And each time I come here, I decide I have found my favorite meal here. I love everything I have tried and my goal now is to try everything on their menu. My favorite apps are the soy kao frito and the vegetable spring rolls. The former are like little fried bags of pork and shrimp with an awesome seasoned lemon sauce. The latter are like the typical spring rolls that you get anywhere else except they taste better. Maybe its the perfect crispy but not greasy wrapper or perhaps the super fresh vegetables but they are noticeably better than anywhere else. The soups...I love the Sopa Especial du Kang. This is what every wanton soup wants to be when it grows up. Best ever broth snd wantons but also filled with shrimp, pork, chicken, and quail eggs. Careful though...you may fill up and not want a meal so go easy! They have great containers to take home leftovers. The other souos are awesome as well but this one is the star of the show. Onto the mains. I have now sampled four if their eight classics with the Pollo Chi Jau Kay bring my definite favorite. Crispy chicken pieces in a delicious oyster sauce. Simple but awesome. I have also tried four of the seven specialties and while all were great, the Kamlu Wanton and the Tay Pa du Kang are exceptional. The Kamlu Wanton is a better than your local favorite Chinese restaurant sweet and sour just filled either chicken, pork, shrimp, quail eggs, and fried wantons. So good. The Tay Pa du Kang is a wonderful dish bursting with chicken, pork, shrimp, and quail eggs with for very fresh vegetables in a white sauce. Huge platter of deliciousness. Also a plug for the awesome fried rice...pick your favorite. I have not tried the noodle dishes nor had any appetite left for dessert. But I will at some point. This is one of my very favorite Miami restaurants. It is always crowded, but I've never had to wait for a table. Service is superb without any exceptions. As you can tell, I love this place and plan on being a regular person for some time to come . Enjoy. read more

I had this for the first time recently as I heard it was Chinese food with a Peruvian twist. Was I in for the unexpected? The food looked like traditional Chinese you get at a local Chinese spot but the taste was something else! The food was out of this world. It was super fresh, made with real chicken and thick cuts of veggies, it was savory and appealing. We had Pollo Ti Pa Kay, Chaufa Especial, and some Wonton Soups. Don't think I'll ever go back to American Chinese after having this. I'm not much of a Wonton Soup person but the soup here was not too salty and the wontons were delicious and tasted as if they were made on the spot. We ordered to go but the inside matches that of a Canton restaurant in the way of seating arrangements. It was a nice comfortable level of noise. So I had heard amazing things about Chifa Du Kang so I was giddy like a 12 year old girl at her first Taylor Swift concert. I love Peruvian and Chinese cuisine so I had high hopes. I went with the popular items as there must be a reason to get that recognition. Either way you can tell where I'm going with this. We started with ordering a 2 liter of Inca Kola because it was the best value and I knew we were all going to want refills. For appetizers we went with the egg roll/spring rolls. Well I got fooled since the picture on the menu had four and only after it came did I realize the menu clearly said 2. Either way, they were tasty and not overtly greasy. We opted for the kids menu chicken and fries. It wasn't until it arrived did we realized these were fried chicken chunks. They were pretty hard and dry. Oh and it came with a lemon broth type sauce?!?!? This is for kids, man...they like ketchup not lemon broth lol. Given it was a large portion but it's from a kids menu. Why would it be 16 bucks? I'd rather just have chicken nuggets and fries at a third of the price. Again it's a kids menu?!? As for our mains, I ordered the Chaufa Especial which was the most popular chaufa along with the Pollo Ti Pa Kay which was a recommended item from the server. The Chaufa was nice but nothing out of this world. It was a bit dry and I kept going for the Inca Kola. The Ti Pa Kay was nothing like what it looked like on the menu. The chicken was again dry and hard. Felt like it was recooked. The sauce was not evenly coated throughout the dish. So I had to dig around for the most coated spots. The veggies were decent but just as a whole the dish was a mess. I kept going back hoping that I would figure out why this was suppose to be so good but I never ended up getting it. I was disappointed to the point that I was eager to leave even without trying dessert. The best part was the Inca Cola. I will say that we had plenty of leftovers. So portion wise it was good. But when you factor in $16 for a kids chicken "chunks" and how dry all the chicken was it really wasn't a good value. I will add that the place was packed and more and more people kept coming in. So I was perplexed at was it just me? Was it what I ordered? I'm not in the area much so I can't say I'd come back. But if I do I'll make sure to try something not chicken. read more

Drove past this place plenty of times and I finally made it in. It was a family dinner night and we wanted some good food. Decided to come here and give this place a chance. Inside is bright with wite and red decor and regular table seating. They have 2 flat-screens showing great dishes that just makes you hungrier. The menu comes complete with pictures to give you that whole visual effect of what to expect. We kept it simple and started off with fried wontons. They were great and came with that sweet dipping sauce. We ordered 2 rounds cause it was such a good start. We were told most dishes come family serving style so my mother and I shared the beef with bean sprouts (one of my favorite vegetables ever) and dad had the beef chaufa. Absolutely amazing flavors like no joke. I can't even describe how great the flavors were. With each bite we couldn't believe such great authentic radiant flavors. The portions are definitely sharing size but we left with literally maybe 5 bites and seriously still asked for a to go box. This place is a MUST COME EAT! Everything is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
