The restaurant is clean, food is out of this world. They have more veggie selection then most buffets. They have pineapple delights, and crab raggons, and the egg rolls tasted home made. The staff was attentive and very nice.This is definitely a must try in Morgab City. Just look for the Rouses, it's tucked in the opposite side of the strip mall. read more

Ok, so I'm married to a Chinese Filipina who is really particular about food. I've had the good fortune to have eaten big Chinese feast style dinners in Manila, Toronto and Shanghai. I can eat chicken feet and fish head without breaking a sweat. I am, perhaps, the wrong person to review a Chinese buffet in Morgan City, but that's where we had lunch during a recent business trip. The food and decor is meh at best. I had the green beans, the cabbage with bacon, veggie noodles, and the General Tso chicken. The green beans were pretty good, but the food in general is bland, American style Chinese. Not much more I can say than that. Their hot tea is ok, but stay away from both the cheesecake and the egg custard. Just stay away in general, really, there has got to be a better place in Morgan City to eat lunch, even on a budget and in a hurry. Dui bu qi. read more

I find everything. to be very good. The Chinese Rice needs improvement. And noodles are not good. The Gumbo is excellent. The waitresses are very nice and always keeping the floors and tables clean. I really do recommend. But yes I have had better food. But I do like it. read more

I'm not one to eat and slam, but damn. I would have given one star, but nobody takes those seriously anymore. In the interest of saving us all time, I'll tell you what did NOT suck. The boiled shrimp was well seasoned, not overcooked but did not peel easily. That was the time of the month, though obviously. The hot and sour soup was good; most restaurant buffets don't bother to put the shredded pork in their hot and sour soup; they did. And that's it. Everything else sucked the big one. read more

I come to Morgan City for work every month and have given this place a try twice. Today is my 3rd and final. The first two times where bad experiences and this time is no different. I guess I have a hankering for punishment. The TSO was wet and the egg roll was anything but desirable. You can buy them frozen at Sams and they would taste better. All the food was also cold. Do not come here! If your in a hurry like I was I still suggest you not come here. I know this is a small town but I grew up in a small town and the local Chinese restaurant was much better no excuses. They are feeding the locals a bunch of slop, and somehow the place was full of people. I don't get it! Demand better Morganites demand better!! read more

As much as I hate to give this place a low rating, me being a loyal customer to this place for over 10 years.. I go here because their food in selection are the best around in the area but my last visit yesterday to this day made me not want to go back and is pretty much distanced me further and further from being a loyal customer. I said their quality of food is the great around and I enjoy it... but I was shocked after being charged in the past from $8 for a carry out or to go for the dinner buffet to $12!! I don't know if they are price gouging, I don't know what their deal is but every time I go there it seems like their prices get higher and higher.
