Orange chicken with fried rice
Bruce G.

I decided to come here as it was close to the tram ride to Paradise Point. This was probably my favorite place to eat at during my stay at St Thomas unexpectedly! I was seated right away by efficient, friendly servers. The place itself was roomy, clean, and well organized. Bathroom was also quite neat. I started off with the chicken wings which were nice and crispy. My main dish was the orange chicken which had the right amount of sweet and spicy, not too much breading and had a good amount of chicken. I ended my meal with the mango smoothie (you have to order and pay for this separately, which was kind of weird and annoying, but worth the effort!). This was probably one of the best mango smoothies I've had in a while! I personally find it really difficult to find mango smoothies that are well done. If you don't want a smoothie, they also have milk and boba teas available. I think going here for the smoothies itself is worth it. Not sure if I'd quite describe this place as a hidden gem given its proximity to several touristy destinations, but I would definitely recommend coming here. Also, if you're Filipino the staff here appear to be all Filipino and many of the customers were also Filipino, which is kind of random. That helped create a nice welcoming atmosphere as well.

Place was very clean and the food and service was good, will definitely try a bobo tea next time.

Pho, special bung and fresh spring rolls, all are so tasty and healthy

Excellent authentic Vietnamese food!! Amazing Pho and fresh spring rolls. Every dish that we have tried is just divine. New owner, new menu, yummy tastes. Fast and great services

I don't understand all the good reviews on this food! Each of these dishes were $17/1$18, it's an appetizer side , noodles were the size of my palm and the meat is probably 1 -2 ounces. and absolutely not a main dish. This was a take away order, the sauces weren't sent for these dishes. I also had a pho lunch at the restaurant about 10 days ago, had the beef short rib pho. Meat was just a huge piece of boiled meat. And the pho was tasteless. I have had it a numerous places and I just don't think this is very good.

Oh, M, Geeeeeeeee!!!! I am such a sucker for good Chinese food and I am always so picky. I don't think I would have imagined finding the best Chinese food in St. Thomas, but this is darn good food right here!! We ordered a couple of dishes and I was in a spicy mood. It was hot, humid, and the cruise ship peeps had me all agitated. So, I asked for it to be extra spicy and it did not disappoint at all. Super tender sliced beef, exceptionally delicious sauce, and crunchy veggies. Super duper! My girl had chicken and broccoli and it was legit. Same as above. Perfectly tender chicken, crunchy broccoli and sauce was so saucy and perfect! Also got the orange dragon roll and it was okay. Nothing special, but definitely good enough to order again.

Beef lo mein and garlic chicken was delicious

Delicious and flavorful Chinese food. Was craving chinese and this was perfect in every way. Very authentic would 100% recommend. Got lo mein, chicken dish, mapo tofu, and shrimp tempura. Staff is very nice and on top of it.

Rainbow roll

I guess I can say that for a place serving Chinese food it was a little lack luster. The rainbow roll was ok and started the meal fine. However, any dish that had broccoli had undercooked broccoli which was crunchy and hard to chew on. The chicken and broccoli didn't hit home quite as good as what I'm used to. The curry chicken was decent. The Mongolian beef was alright as well. My sister got the stir fried seafood noodles, but that tasted a little off. The rice seemed overcooked as well as the side to everything. I can at least compliment the server for being nice and polite, but the food could have been better. Nonetheless it was still edible.

Awesome place and great food. Was driving by looking for restaurants that were open and took a chance and couldn't be happier.

They did not have our favorite sake, but we were able to explain it, and the waitress was able to point us in the right direction(photo) we ordered the big easy with regular tuna instead of jerk tuna(waitress recommendation) and shaggy dog. Ordered unagi eel and tuna pictures attached) for dessert. We ordered the key line wonton. They were OK probably would've just ordered the vanilla bean ice cream with caramel sauce because that really was the highlight of the dessert. The patio is nice if you want to sit outside and have a view of the yachts and the dock, we chose to sit inside because of the vibe and we had been outside all day. Service was great!!! Waitress offered on the house drinks due to the wait. Once the order was in took about 20-30 mins for it to come out. Solid sushi and the dessert was fun. However the start of the dinner threw off the whole experience. Due to it being later in the evening this was one of the only restaurants still open, hence why we stayed.

In a tropical climate like Puerto Rico, a noodle soup needs to be soul-warming without being overly heavy, and they hit that mark perfectly. Whether you opt for the classic beef or the chicken, the meat is sliced thin and serves as a tender companion to the noodles. The beverage program is designed to be as refreshing as the Pho, focusing on vibrant, tropical flavors that cut through the humidity of Old San Juan. They aren't just sugary tourist traps; they are well-crafted and often utilize fresh botanical ingredients. Drinking here is as much about the sight as the taste. The bar overlooks the San Juan Bay, and watching the sailboats and cruise ships pass by at sunset with a cocktail in hand is one of the most serene experiences in the city. The staff manages the dual nature of the business bar and spa with surprising grace ; you never feel rushed. The service at Anam is described as personal and welcoming, which is a refreshing change of pace from some of the more hectic, high-volume bars nearby. Anam is for the traveler who wants sophisticated relaxation. Between the aromatic Pho, the fresh fruit cocktails, and the view of the water, it offers a multi-sensory reset that is hard to find elsewhere in Old San Juan.

Normally,…read morewe would never pay $16 for pho or pad Thai but we are on vacation and acknowledge the high cost of living here. It's certainly not the best pho or pad Thai we've ever had but it is solid. My pho had a generous amount of herbs and bean sprouts and the pad Thai didn't have the strong tamarind and peanut flavor that I am used to but was still acceptable. This satisfied our craving for Asian food nicely.

At the Noodle Merchant, I tried their chicken wings and dumplings. The wings were fried nicely but I didn't like the filling inside of the dumplings. It tasted too mushy for my liking. At Himalaya's, I had their seafood hot pot. All of the seafood was not fresh, but that may be because of the hurricane. I didn't like how the hot pot was just full of sauce. If it were some kind of broth (like it's supposed to be) I would have enjoyed it more. But the "hot pot" ($22) was more like a giant stir fry swimming in soy sauce mixture. I did like the presentation though and the rice was nice. I'm glad there's an Asian stall but seeing them boil ramen packages like I do at home and then charge $15 is not what I call good eats. Again, not sure what's normal and what's changed due to the hurricane. I would like to come back and give it another shot.
