Yum! I came in looking for crabs and was surprised with all the other options. My oxtail, mac and cheese and rice noodles were a 10. Also ordered a side of shrimp and that was also 10:10! Upon entering you approach the counter to order and they make your plate. The line moves pretty fast. There is both inside and outside seating. Everyone was pleasant and when I visit again or recommend a place to eat it will be here!
While visiting St. Thomas US Virgin Islands you should definitely visit Cravin' Crabs for a little bit of local flavor! We originally had another restaurant on our radar but BOY were we happy we decided to take the short walk from the ship pier to Cravin' Crabs! They even serve Pancit (a delicious filipino noodle/spaghetti dish) I was not expecting to see that on the menu! Then when we left we realized there's a Filipino deli right next-door. So apparently it's authentic. The seafood was fresh and all the sides were unique and scrumptious! There was one side we enjoyed, we were not sure what it was, we could only decide it was the mashed potatoes, it tasted and had the texture more of some sort of dressing. Our server asked if we wanted some of the Tuscan seafood gravy on it and Yes, Yes, yes!! We did!! There was a little bit of a language barrier but we just pointed at what we wanted and it all worked out!! The food is right in front of you like cafeteria style so you can see what you are getting. My husband and I split one Tuscan Seafood plate with two sides, that was MORE than enough for the two of us for lunch. We'd definitely go back next time we are in ST. Thomas. Bravo!
The Alfredo sauce here is better than some chain restaurants own. It's creamy it's rich it's cheese. The Salmon fillet was cooked nicely and seasoned well. Paired well with the Alfredo. I ordered the salmon Alfredo. I loved it from start to finish. I had to save some for home. Every time I come back home I'm def going make my stop. It's located. Right by Mandela circle .
Overall, if you're looking for a decent seafood boil, this was a good spot. We got two build your own boils An order of calamari and shrimp as an appetizer. I did feel the boil in itself could be a little bit more flavorful, they were a little too heavy on the salt & butter for my liking.
great place for lunch. Looks touristy but is definitely a locals joint at least for lunch. Fair prices and large portion. Outside deck is very pleasant.
Our family ate here tonight everything from the service to the food was awesome. It's a small place clean and the staff were fast and friendly. Food was awesome we had seafood sampler of dungeons crab snow crab corn and potato blacken snapper stuffed salmon with crab and lobster. Along with lobster pasta and grilled salmon with shrimp. Prices weren't bad we would definitely go back.
This restaurant customer service is very nice and kind. It will remind you of a Oriental Buffett type of feel. The prices are pricey for the seafood experience. Seafood Smash - the Seafood is awesome. However, the mash potatoes are instant! For a $40 plate of seafood mash potatoes, I can't get original potatoes? - good, not worth the price. Shrimp fettuccine w/Scampi Sauce. It's not seasoned. Be prepared to use salt and pepper. However, it has plenty of garlic butter - plenty!
When I walked in here I thought this place was gonna be good it has 4.3 stars on google. First dish was mediocre shrimp shebang sauce tasted like honey walnut shrimp with mayonnaise . When the seafood boil and the garlic noodles with scampi sauce came out it was hot but the flavor was ass not seasoned and just had butter all over it. They just used butter and garlic and a little of seasoning. The crab tasted like it was frozen, shrimp was mediocre , potatoes mediocre, corn was very soggy and garlic bread was horrible. For 120$ I don't think it's worth it at all I could've walked across the street to Wendy's. They also charge a 16% fee at the end of your meal.I don't recommend this place at all.
My wife and I stopped here on our cruise to get something authentic. It was delicious meal. My wife got the lobster tail with Mac and cheese, with mashed potatoes and I got the blackened shrimps with lentils and seasoned rice. The service was great but the food was the highlight. Highly recommend.
The perfect spot to get some seafood boil in the US Virgin Islands. We got the Crustacean Sampler which came with lots of various crab, lobster, 1/2 lb of crawfish, 8 EZ peel shrimp, and potatos! (We asked for no corn). The Cravin' Bomb Seasoning was so good! Flavorful and not too salty. The crab were full of meat and juicy. The crawfish and shrimp were especially really fresh. SO GOOD and wasy to peel. Our appetizers were the Chicken Wings and Conch! Very delicious. The chicken wings were crispy and great with ranch. The conch was very tender and great with au gratin potatos. Really yummy. The staff seem to be a majority Filipino! They were super friendly and accomodating. I love that they give you a standing bucket for seafood shells and chicken bones! Very thoughtful. Overall a wonderful spot to check out while in St. Thomas. There may be a long wait! Also... Notice there's a 15% service charge! Be careful of the sketchy parking lot too.
Close to cruise port. Great, delicious local food. Fast friendly service. Portions here are huge.

Whew! This put me into a coma! I usually get the seafood mash, but this season I wanted to mix it up and decided to try the Island Style Lobster & Shrimp Curry. You get half of a whole lobster, split straight down the middle, served with seasoned rice, fried plantains, and summer squash. I loved the curry sauce served on top, and wished I got a little more to put on my rice. I was heartbroken to hear that I had missed the last shipment of Red Horse beer, which if available, I highly recommend ordering it with your meal. It's brewed in the Philippines, and is absolutely delightful. As usual, staff was attentive and polite. Our waitress even cracked a few jokes that made my table laugh. Indoor seating is scarce, but I honestly would prefer to sit outside and eat here cause the AC is blasting. read more
We ordered the seafood platter which says it feeds 2-3 and costs $175. While it was tasty, I don't feel there was $175 worth of food on the platter. It was mostly crawfish and potatoes. The staff was friendly, they gave us bins, gloves, utensils to help make things easier and cleaner because let me tell you it was messy! No liquor, just beer and wine for those who care. Parking is plentiful and this is right across from Havensight mall near the sky tram. Overall I would come here again but order differently. read more

Our family ate here tonight everything from the service to the food was awesome. It's a small place clean and the staff were fast and friendly. Absolutely delicious food and service! This place came recommended by our driver with Top Dog Taxi and Tours. We all loved our entrees and left with full hearts and bellies!! Highly recommend this lesser known, but incredible island restaurant!! Great indoor and outdoor seating too! read more

I am visiting St Thomas and browsed through Yelp before I decided to come here for my birthday dinner. It is a casual place so I didn't have high expectations but read great reviews before coming in. For this being a Crab spot, there wasn't a whole lot of crab options but we picked the Scallops and Shrimp and Fried Lobster and Shrimp. Let me just say: Wow. Incredible. The scallops were cooked in a truffle sauce mixed with mash potatoes. The shrimp and scallops were massive!!! I couldn't finish it, and my husband helped! It was soooo good with so much flavor. I will come back here just for that dish. My husband had the Fried Lobster and Shrimp and says it tastes better than my fav lobster restaurant back home in LA. Now, that's a compliment! For this being half a lobster, it was still a decent amount. Both were fried perfectly with not too much breading and with so much flavor. The service here was so great. Our waiter came to our table throughout the night to check up on us. For my birthday, they played a cute birthday song and brought out ice cream. Thanks, Cravin Crabs! read more

Delicious seafood place run by Filipinos with with flavorful sauces. Tip: A lot of the seafood is not local: snow crab legs, dungeness crabs, shrimp, mussels, etc. I blame the tourons more than the restaurant as the tourons can't tell the difference. Only the lobster and the conch are local. Get those. read more

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our meal at the Cravin' Crab! It is a casual restaurant that caters to both the cruise ship crowd and locals. The snow crab, Dungeness crabs and muscles were cooked perfectly. There were also a variety of seasonings offered that just enhanced the tasty crabs. Our server, Mimi was attentive and thorough all while be kind, sweet and engaging. All the staff was professional and accommodating despite a power failure shortly after we arrived. The staff got the generator running and kept serving the clients making sure that all of their needs were met. When we come back to the island, we will definitely go back! read more

Overall great experience and decent food. My friends loved it very much but I personally felt the dishes are overall saltier than my preference. Same thing with butter--maybe a bit too much butter in every dish than I personally prefer. The fresh catch lobster is very tasty! And the potatoes are probably my favorite lol (after all these food, the very basic side is my favorite) Service was great! They are super friendly and attentive to our needs. read more

This was my favorite place in St Thomas for local food that's good and reasonable. It was Sunday afternoon and it was packed with church.goers coming back from Sunday service. There was a cubs Yang flow of customers which is a good sign. This is a criteria style food.point and pick a main entree and two items. We ordered three plates with seasoned rice and potatoes as our side. The rice was flavorful the potatoes quite good. We ordered the blacked salmon, another fried fish and the fish in coconut sauce. The grilled salmon was very bland. The fried fish is a big portion and good. My favorite is the fish in coconut sauce. It taste better than it look and there's a few big plump shrimps in it - totally unexpected. The portions are big and reasonable price for St Thomas. Don't expect any service here it's non-existent. read more
I had the taste for some crab legs and was recommend this place based upon the previous good reviews. This place does have outside seating and all the staff wear masks given the climate we're in. Our server, Melanie was amazing, she was attentive, kind and thoughtful. I had told her after me and my best friend sat down that it was her birthday and that she had a surprise for her at the end. We got the seafood boil as an entree and split a lobster Mac N Cheese dish. Yes you heard right, a lobster Mac N cheese dish. It was divine and so good. I was glad we got left overs to take with us. From the wine to the whole ambiance we both had such a good time. The price of the overall meal is a little pricey but it's worth the experience. In the future, when I do come back to St Thomas I will come back to this place. read more

Parked the car and headed inside the restaurant and thought we would eat a complete seafood dish but the one we wanted to eat was way too costly for two people. We ended up eating something else and it was yummy too. Service was great too. read more

Food was pretty good, we got the seafood boil for 2. Great presentation & well seasoned. Service was bad at first, but our waitress eventually took note of it and improved it. Would definitely recommend. read more

Service- our surver Joriz was actually really nice. He was a young man that seemed like he had a plan. He met all our needs and was quick with our responses. Rib eye steak- the first steak was over cooked so we sent it back but the return steak was well cooked to the medium that was requested and was well seasoned and delicious. It came with a sauce on the side but it was horrible ( sorry to say just being honest). Seafood Boil- the boil was awesome and tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection. The butter they used was Salted butter so we kind of avoided dipping into it since it was so high on salt from the seasoning but it was still great. read more
