Best breakfast spot on the resort. All of our meals here were incredible but we got stuck (in a good way) on the French toast and crab cake Benedict with a side of sausages. Do not recommend this restaurant!!! Bouy Haus management should really look into the service and food quality at restaurant. Overall food was nothing special. Amongst appetizers and entree, we ordered Truffle fries and were extremely disappointed to find hair and when we made the manager aware, he didn't seem the least bit bothered. Instead, made a comment saying his chef is bald. The service was very slow, our server didn't really care about checking in and even when she asked a question, she couldn't care to listen and walked away. Sushi was not my first choice; however, everything around St. Thomas has been delicious, and we are sushi fans. Well, we were disappointed to say the least about the sushi quality and the meat portions in the roll. We came early at 1:15PM and learned they did not open until 2PM, and it was recommended we show up at 2:30 in case the kitchen was backed up. I'm assuming the kitchen supplies the rest of the Westin with food. However, the happy hour menu says open 2-4PM. A little disconnect here! We arrived at 2:20PM and we were the first ones to get seated. We ordered the following Crispy rice, Sashimi tostada, Shrimp tempura roll, sugar fin roll and spicy tuna roll. The only thing that was ok was the crispy rice and sashimi tostada. Everything else did not appear fresh, tasted like warm sushi, and the portions of the meat inside was sad to say the least. I've had better rolls ordering them at Costco with more flavor and more meat. The only real good thing on the menu was the Garden of Envy drink on the happy hour menu. Absolutely delicious! Sad right!! the only thing that got me excited was the drink. SMH! We pivoted from Luna Mar, looks like we should have gone there. Probably my favorite meal during our stay at the westin. Started with a cocktail (plum and lychee one) that was very tasty. The sushi was fresh. I got the edemame for sharing and got the sweet and spicy one. It was a large portion and perfect for 2 maybe 3 people. We ended the night with a berry creme brulee that was a bit too sweet but still yummy. The view outside was gorgeous. Staff was nice and helpful and attentive. We ended up going back the next night for cocktails at the bar. Service was pretty quick. Would recommend! read more

We came here for dinner while staying at Marriott Frenchman's Cove since their restaurant was being renovated. We sat inside since it was already dark outside and couldn't see anything. Our waitress was friendly and took our orders promptly. We got the poke tuna nachos, firecracker roll and California roll. All were very good! Sushi Rice was hard so disappointed! I was looking. Forward to good sushi , how do you serve hard rice (stale) in the rolls. I just dont get it. Has gozilla roll, it was tough like godzilla. It makes you wonder about the fish. Fish was ok. My husband had firecracker, it was less hard but still did not melt in your mouth. Wait staff was pleasant, chatty and attentive. Sushi located inside the beautiful Westin Resort on St. Thomas. Walk into the grand entrance of the resort and head to the quaint restaurant in the rear with amazing views of the surrounding islands. Live entertainment was wonderful. Service was lacking. Took a while to receive our drinks. Ordered a starter, sashimi and sushi, everything came at the same time, which is not what was expected. Had to ask for chopsticks and received wooden ones while the other tables around us received silver ones after we got ours . Our sever was not as attentive as we would have liked, even though the restaurant was not full, but the food was really good with ample portions. Would recommend going. read more

Me and my friend checked out this spot for dinner last night and I decided to get some sushi since I haven't had it in a while, when we arrived it's was super busy the host told us there was no take out but she could add us to a waitlist, so we joined the waitlist they called us not long after. Wow, terrible service and discourteous staff. We decided to dine here and the drink menu was limited with the excuse that they "were not serving specialty drinks tonight." Seriously, how hard is it to put some rum and fruit juice in a glass? Apparently, the restaurant and entire hotel was short staffed tonight. This is a definite most do if you love sushi. There is a great story about the chef in the local magazine highlighting his food. Sushi Yellowfin Tuna Poke Nachos were out of this world! Came twice on our visit to st Thomas while staying at the Westin and both times we sat at a table the service was not up to par. The views are great and menu looked nice. Food took over an hour to come out and server did not check on us or come greet the other people who sat down in a timely manner. Food which shouldn't be hot came out with an odd taste and too warm. Highly recommend! We stayed at the Morningstar buoy haus, which is connected to the Westin. We ate at Sugarfin 2 nights in a row, and was close to making it 3 nights, it's that good. Can't go wrong with any rolls, we are huge sushi people and it was amazing! Tried all of the rolls except the California and Kale-ifornia rolls. All were so delicious!
