But like most restaurants the most important part is the food. Overall we were not very impressed with what we received. Normally Szechuan foods have a rich spicy flavor, or a least a nice spicy kick or punch to it. The chicken I got came in very sweet brown sauce with no heat at all almost like they forgot to add the Szechuan peppers (or at least red pepper flake), the veggies were a bit over cooked, and the chicken had little to no flavor. The Mongolian beef was in the exact same sweet brown sauce and was so lacking in beef my girlfriend questioned if it was in fact a vegetarian version. She counted two pieces of beef in the whole serving. The rice was slightly over cooked almost like what you would find on a buffet table at the end of the lunch rush. The soup was flavorful with plenty of egg, and the egg roll was crispy but similar to what you find the in the freezer section of an Asian market. Not sure if we just hit them on a bad day, or if this is how the food normally is. Most likely it will be a long time before we try them again, if at all.
