I would have rated this place a 4. because we didn't get our menu and water 10 minutes after we were seated and our food took over 30 minutes. 1 appetize, pad thai and fried rice. I asked the waitress to add cucumber salad and she said "I got you" it never made it to our table. I waited and we decided to check out. Now I remember why this is the only 2nd time we've eaten there in 5 years. But we ordered to go seems faster. I've walked or driven by this restaurant for 3 years and finally tried it. It was late and I was by myself so I got a carry out order. My go to dish for my first visit to a Thai restaurant is Green Curry with Chicken, medium hot. I place my order and was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes. After a short walk around downtown I returned and my food came out of the kitchen. I was warned it was hot and it was. When I got back And unloaded my car I opened the bag both the entree and rice were still warm. Flavorful curry with large tender pieces of of chicken, eggplant, green peppers, carrots, bamboo shoots and basil leaves. A decent level of heat. The portion was generous enough to have leftovers for lunch. Anna Thai is worth trying. I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

As a broke college student, this was a cost-effective option because the portions are so big, they last you a few meals! One of the few restaurant in the downtown that stays open during the weekend. When I reached there , it was almost empty. Easy parking on the street during the weekend due to less traffic. Very simply decorated. The menu is adequate. I was seated with no time. The papaya salad dressing need to be changed. It did not have the traditional taste and the zing. Service was slooooooooooowwwwwww and for dine in they give you either paper plates or styrofoam. And they weren't even fancy Chinet the plates; they were more like the kind you get at the dollar store. That just ruins the whole eating out experience. 4 stars for food, 2.5 stars for service. The waterfall feature when you walk in looks beautiful. Long bar on the first floor then go up a short flight of stairs to the main dining area. When we arrived for dinner, no one was working the bar area. There was one couple sitting there, so we went to the bottom of the stairs to see if anyone would notice us. Again, no one. Finally, someone appeared from the back a few minutes later and sat us. I ordered Pad Thai with pork. When it was brought to the table, it looked like chicken. The waitress noticed something wasn't right as I was poking around the dish and came over. I told her I ordered pork and I didn't eat anything on the plate. She mumbled something about it being the wrong order and she took it in the back. I received the correct order a few minutes later. A few minutes after that, a chicken pad thai was delivered to the table behind us. I'm guessing it was the plate they removed from my table..... good thing I wasn't sick. I think there were two servers working the main dining area when we got there, and as it got busier, more people were emerging from the back. Anna Thai is one of those rare places on Yelp with great food, nice ambiance and authentic fusion ethnic cuisine. We had a late lunch at Anna Thai after a rough start to our day. The place is very nice and clean. They gave us spring rolls instead of crab Rangoon for check-in offer!! Waiter was very nice an courteous. Food was really nice and portion sizes are very good too. I had a green curry which was nice and hot and papaya salad is excellent. We also end up getting some mango with sticky rice and I would strongly recommend that to every one who is looking for a less sweet than american dessert. I had door dashed for lunch but somehow my driver got confused & couldn't find the house so she returned the food to Anna Thai. the worker at Anna Thai drove out to my house and brought my food. He even called & told me he had dropped it off and where. You do not get that service anymore & it was very much appreciated. read more
