The lo mein was very mushy and the only thing that was redeemable about it was the large amount of beef that they did put in. However, it's sad how the beef and broccoli and the pepper beef hardly had any beef. To top it off what made it worse was how the combination fried rice did not have any color. It was just a bland thing with barely any type of umami in it. Plus the rice just felt like it was regular hard-boiled rice instead of fluffy rice that was properly stir-fried. If you're traveling from out of town for vacation here and are craving Chinese food, this is not the place. You will not be getting good quality Chinese food. This is worse than even Panda Express and if you can get better, Chinese takeout at Panda Express than a local joint here, then what's the point of going to the local joint the first place.

The fried rice is yellow, which is the Shrinkflation version, as it is made with a yellow rice mix without much, if any, soy sauce (costs money to use and it is not fried.) We no longer order the fried rice if we get the yellow version as it has no flavor and we prefer the traditional soy sauce brown fried rice version. I can buy bags of yellow rice at the grocery store if I want that but it is not "fried rice."
