Passover dinner service on 4/02/2026. $49.99 per person.

Thought of trying a lunch meal from Toojay's. Seemed like I was on a roll when the Waiter offered the CHOOSE Too (a 1/2 portion salad) when I mentioned I'd be getting a soup, then a salad. I said the Cafe size portion salad would be "fine." I made one change to the salad saying I wanted mine No Onion. I was told "No Problem." I think I was also told "I gotcha'." The soup came out how I wanted it ... No Crackers and was nice and hot. When the salad came it had onions on it. I removed the onions at the table. The food tasted good and seemed like a healthier meal to get at a Deli. I finished all I wanted but the waiter was gone. I sat for a long time waiting for the waiter so I could get my check and pay as I did not expect to be trapped there so long when I needed to return to work. It was, after all, a week day. Surprised I had this difficulty getting the check and paying in that I only saw one other "sat" table. 3 stars for trying.

If you are looking for a deli with bakery items and sandwiches this is a perfect place to go. They have so many comfort type deli items that are unique to find. The matzoh ball soup is always my favorite with a potato knish and don't forget a corned beef sandwich plus a black and white cookie for dessert. Order ahead and pick up available to carry out or even order at counter. The cakes and desserts are so beautiful and delicious. Catering for parties or holidays is also available. The restaurant is spacious inside for the interior seating. The prices have gone up through the years like every place else. I do recommend this deli.

TOOJAY's on The Walk at Coral Springs, REVISITED The other night, (thursday),I was too tired to cook but real hungry for some comfort food. That's TooJay's for me. What a disappointment: we've been watching it decline for awhile but the other night was a disaster. Let me state up front that the food was on point: the potato pancakes were light, crispy & delicious. However, only a dollop of sour cream and no applesauce. Hubs' hot pastrami on rye & coleslaw was delcious & my nova lox & everything bagel dish (but no capers) was to my taste, but... We arrived a bit before 6 and were done a bit before 9. 3 HOURS!! And, no, we didn't tarry or linger, the service was simply dismal. Only two guys were working the floor. It wasn't busy, no hostess, so we were told to pick a booth. Our waiter was fine. He was friendly and knew what he was doing. It was slow, but we got our drinks right away so, after a hectic, high-pressure day on the job, I was happy to kick back & relax... & relax... & relax... Two younger girls were manning the bakery & takeout counter. They were nice enough & seemed very sweet... So I have no idea why the other guy on the floor (head waiter? manager?) was hollering at them so bad it semed one of the girls ran into the back, crying. Hubs & I were embarrassed for them. Poor things. Then the bulvon* fussed and fumed for the rest of the evening. He had lungs like furnace bellows! I had half my platter left and wanted to take it home for breakfast the next morning. Our waiter went to get a box for me & Mr. Bulvon practically ripped the regular to-go box out of our waiter's hand, admonishing him clearly, and handed him a small burger box. I pretended not to see the unpleasant exchange. Our waiter asked if I wanted a bigger box but I accepted the small burger box & put my food in that. I slipped our waiter a Jackson & we left. Plenty of other deli's around: Pomperdale's and Pickle Barrel being just a couple. Sad for TooJay's Coral Springs decline. It was our go-to deli for a long time *A bulvon is insensitive, uncultured, unrefined, thick-headed, and brutish - but that may be simply due to an inherent stupidity.

This was my first time at Toojay's and I must say how happy we were to come here. I have heard about this place for many years and finally had the opportunity to dine here. This location is located in a big shopping center that is veery easy yo access and park in. You walk into a large bright "bakery/deli area and I was immediately impressed... There is some really good looking food / desserts here. We were a group of seven and were immediately brought to our seats. Our 'very friendly-happy-helpful' server came over with some silverware, water and menus. I am sorry that I did not get his name but he definitely added to the great experience here. We started off with an appetizer of mini potato-pancakes and immediately knew that we were in for a treat. THe ordering was easy as many of us shared our food: Corned Beef Sandwich Pastrami Sandwich Brisket Sandwich Roast Beef Sandwich (on Ciabatta roll, not rye. Some french fries and potato knishes Everything was great. All meats were lean and tasty. Sandwiches were nicely made with plenty of meat. All sides were good too. I am definitely looking forward to my next trip here. KUDOs to the team at TooJay's Deli * Bakery * Restaurant.

We enjoyed our meals this evening. My husband had a corned beef sandwich. I had cheese blintzes. They used to have a cheese blintz dinner but now they only have two blintzes with no soup included. I liked the cherry topping they provided. The server did a great job and was very attentive.

I forgot all about leaving a review for this place. I went there about a month ago with a bunch of friends and family.. I know everyone liked what they had. As far as for me. I opted to have lunch instead of breakfast like everyone else. I went for pastrami on rye bread with a pickle and a side of potato salad. The pickle was just okay. The potato salad was good. The pastrami was really good, but it could of used more mustard. It wasn't very busy at the time we went there. Now, our server was excellent. She was right on target with everything. I I were in the area, I would definitely eat here again.

A great dependable go-to when you're craving classic New York-style deli fare, especially a good Reuben sandwich. We got a summer special coupon so we went for first time and it was a nice experience. They have a long menu for breakfast, brunch, burgers, grilled cheese, deli, etc. You have to go to see what I'm talking about! As they say: Big portions, bold flavors!

The small deli/restaurant is mainly for take out, but they do have a couple tables inside. We chose to order here and eat at one of the tables. We got a chance to chat with the owner. We got a friendly welcome. She was quite sweet. When we asked, she told us that Goldy was her sister who had passed away. The restaurant was named after her. In addition to the menu on the counter, they have a blackboard with various featured items -- including soups of the day -- and specials. They use Board Head meats which you can see in the case. We both ordered their Italian sub, but I made a few changes to mine leaving out the ham and the capicola. The bread was soft and went well with all the meats, cheeses, and veggies. It was an excellent sandwich. We each ate half (the sandwich was stuffed with stuff) and took half home. We were talking about other options that they have when the owner mentioned various desserts -- including banana pudding. She mentioned that it's quite popular and sells out often, but she just happened to have some ready. This is my husband's favorite dessert. He couldn't resist getting a container of it. He took a few tastes there and devoured the rest at home. This place is definitely worth a return visit. And if you're looking for a good sub/hero/sandwich, etc. it makes a perfect lunch stop -- to eat in or to go. I'm so glad we tried them.

I was reluctant to keep the leftovers next day but they held up well as they were not dressed and the lettuce pieces were so small. I grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and back home, subs are called hoagies. In other parts of the country they might be subs or heroes, but not where I'm from. The other regional staple is that we always have birch beer at our hoagie shops. Now, living in South Florida, I rarely find birch beer, but when I do, it's a great day. Well, Laspada has birch beer. On tap. I was in heaven. The other great thing about this place is that the way they make the sandwiches. I'll save the actual construction as a surprise, because you have to see it to believe it, but they put meat on the bread, then load it up with whatever it is you want in the way of vegetation, then more meat on top! This place is awesome! Unless you're a vegan, but then you wouldn't be going to a hoagie shop, so it doesn't matter. But for normal people, it's incredible! Hands down this is my favorite hoagie/sub/hero shop in the area. And they have more than one location so I can get a hoagie pretty much anytime I want one.

Walking into LaSpada's Original Hoagies isn't just ordering lunch, it's stepping into a deli version of a live sporting event. There's energy, there's precision, and yes, there's the legendary "airmail" toss of freshly sliced meat flying down the line like it's got somewhere important to be. Blink and you miss it. Smile and you're part of it. I went with my go-to: the Italian. And not just any Italian... this thing shows up dressed to impress. We're talking Boar's Head ham, cappy, pastrami, and provolone, sliced fresh right in front of you, then launched with deli theatrics onto perfectly waiting Italian bread. From there, it gets piled high with crisp veggies and those Italian peppers that quietly steal the show. Every bite hits like it's been rehearsing for years. Somewhere around bite three, I had a moment of clarity: "This isn't a sandwich... it's a commitment." Plot twist... you think you're just grabbing lunch. You're not. You're entering into a multi-meal agreement. A large sub here doesn't just feed you, it sticks with you. Lunch today, lunch tomorrow, maybe a late-night "just one more bite" situation. It's generous in a way that feels personal. My wife ordered the roast beef, and wow. Perfectly rare, ridiculously tender, sliced fresh and yes, sent flying down the line like it had a boarding pass. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you reconsider your own order mid-bite. Quick detour, because it deserves it... the homemade macaroni salad. I don't throw this around lightly, but I'd put it up against anyone's for best in class. Creamy, balanced, and somehow disappears faster than you expect. That's not an accident. And then you remember... this place took home "Best Sub in South Florida" from the Sun-Sentinel in 2025. Not surprising. Honestly, it feels overdue. Micro twist: you walk in thinking you'll try something new next time. You won't. You'll be back for the same order, and you'll be happy about it. After 25+ years in Coral Springs, they're not just consistent, they're automatic. The kind of place where you don't wonder if it'll be good... you just decide how hungry you are. Highest recommendation. Five stars, no hesitation. Final thought: Some places make sandwiches. LaSpada's Original Hoagies makes believers.

I've driven past it thousands of times on Wiles Road without noticing it sitting there quietly between auto repair shops across from Costco like some kind of breakfast speakeasy. Meanwhile, these people have apparently been serving legit breakfast this entire time. The second we walked in, we got greeted like cousins who finally came home from war. Friendly, warm, joking around, genuinely happy we were there. You know how some breakfast spots make you feel like you personally ruined their morning by ordering eggs? Not here. My wife ordered the veggie omelette with home fries and a toasted bagel. Everything tasted fresh. Actual fresh vegetables. Not the sad, wet diner veggies that look emotionally exhausted before they hit the grill. I went with scrambled eggs, french fries, and a bagel because apparently my inner 8-year-old was making decisions today. Then came "the sauce." Sweet mercy. They recommended their secret sauce and suddenly breakfast turned into an event. The spicy version isn't really spicy unless ranch dressing intimidates you, but it has this smoky pepper flavor that somehow made EVERYTHING better. Eggs? Fantastic. Fries? Unreal. I would've dipped my car keys in it if nobody was watching. At one point my wife, who normally avoids spicy food like it owes her money, kept stealing fries off my plate just to use my sauce before finally admitting she needed her own serving. That sauce could solve arguments. Now for the only small hiccup: the bagel itself didn't taste house made to me. Honestly tasted a little Costco-adjacent, which is hilarious considering Costco is literally across the street. But that's also on me because I didn't get it toasted. Rookie mistake. Toast your bagel, people. This is valuable community information. And honestly, it takes a LOT for me to hand out five stars. I grade restaurants like Simon Cowell judging karaoke night. Going in, they must've renovated the interior as there was more space and city wallpaper across the wall. For breakfast, I ordered 1x breakfast plate with ham, soft scrambled eggs with American, home fries, orange juice & everything bagel, and Pops ordered 1x breakfast plate with bacon, over easy eggs, home fries, decaf coffee & wheat toast. Going into my review, breakfast was fantastic! I didn't necessarily receive what I ordered, but honestly, it turned out for the best as it was even better (they made me an omelet with diced ham and american cheese). Scrambled eggs were super soft, plenty of chunky ham, and nicely melted cheese! The bagel wasn't too heavy but slightly crispy. The home fries could've been more well done, but they were tasty. The over eggs were nicely runny, bacon was thick/flavorful, toast toasty, and the potatoes on this plate were seasoned & crispy! In addition, the OJ was good as it had pulp strands and not watered-down juice. The decaf had a fresh taste and wasn't a bitter coffee ground. Furthermore, the service was very attentive and friendly. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our visit to Rob's Bageland and would be happy to come again. Final verdict 5/5!

The sandwich barely had bacon on it, just a few "bacon crumbles" on the top and bottom, with an excessive amount of lettuce and tomato. I sent it back and ordered a simple hot dog. I sent that back too, as it was inedible. Along with the mustard, the server brought an army of fruit flies, and I'll just leave it at that. The service was poor and the food was questionable. Fruit flies everywhere. Server unfazed. Manager or owner was on the phone and wouldn't come out and talk with me. The cashier was rude when I questioned the 3% universal charge on the check. She said it was a credit card fee which is typical these days, but I was paying with cash. At my request she removed the charge.
