I have been living in Glen Burnie for 4 years and I have tried several Chinese restaurants in the area. The only one I have liked so far is actually just outside of Glen Burnie...until now. I saw China Spring a few days ago for the first time. When my daughter told me her and her friends wanted Chinese tonight, I looked them up, saw the good reviews on yelp and ordered. The lady who gave me my order was super nice, but more importantly, the food is delicious. I typically judge a Chinese restaurant by the General Tso's Chicken and it is one of the best I have tasted. I ordered General Tso's, Hunan Chicken, Combination Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, and fried wontons. I have to say, I have found my new take out Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious. Its what I have been missing for the past 4 years. Its one of those hole in the wall places that turn out to be a great find!! I will be back on a more regular basis. read more

This food is cooked so hot that all of the juicy chicken turns into Little Rock's of sadness. That's OK the crab Rangoon's taste like a little fried puddings so sweet and creamy without any crab meat or seasoning. It's like a dessert. It's fried so hard you could break glass with it. It feels like each pouch of the Rangoon is filled with enough sugar intake to hold you over your daily value for three weeks. The general tso sauce is basically a jello when it cools down enough to eat. If I didn't have diabetes.. I have it now for sure. Hey at least it was hot!! read more

They have new pad Thai noodles that I got with tofu they were absolutely delicious 100% recommend and they were very nice. next time I'll add vegetables. All they had was scallions and onions, which was delicious, but I prefer more vegetables read more

Last evening, I purchased the Pu Pu platter from China Spring for the first time. And, I must say that I will never purchase anything from this restaurant again in life. They named that platter correctly; however, it needs to be respelled as Poo Poo Platter. The shrimp toast was greasy, burnt, and tasteless. The shrimp had so much batter on them, which was not done, that you thought you were eating a pancake. The chicken wings were greasy; the beef on a stick was dry and chewy; and the ribs were pieces of leftover chunks, which were overcooked. If it had not been late, and the fact that I was exhausted, I would have gone back to that restaurant and raised the roof. I don't know what food other people had and offered a review; but, it can't possibly have been that platter. Even the fortune cookies were stale, and one was missing the paper fortune, which is supposed to be inside. This was one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever had, and I will not be spending my money in that place ever again. And, hopefully, this review will deter anyone else from patronizing that place! read more

It was OK. I guess I just look for places that are just as good as my last favorite in Columbia, MD. I can't seem to find good Shrimp Toast!!!! And no one gives you Plum Sauce!!! They see to be pretty busy but you can't miss what you never had. read more

Average Chinese takeout spot with a typical menu. The service is nice and fast, but quality of the food can be lacking at times compared to similar establishments in the area. I like the sauce on the General Tso's Chicken, but they have quite a bit of breading on the meat. Fried rice that comes with the combo meals is pretty bland and does not have a lot of other ingredients in it. Also can be undercooked at times. If you are in a hurry, this place will do. But if you have a bit more time, there are better places around. read more

I ordered General Tso's Chicken (all white meat) and Szechuan String Bean for delivery. For delivery you must order a $15 minimum and I also had to pay $2 extra for all white meat chicken. Other Chinese restaurants in the area have a $10 minimum and they only charge $1 extra for all white meat. The food had decent flavor howerver, the General Tso's sauce had an odd burnt taste. It was edible. The chicken had a nice crispy coating which is what I was hoping for. Usually if you order all white meat you get a tempura batter which is not crispy once mixed with the sauce. Loved the coating. The green beans were good, however, I would not expect them to have the same crispy quality the next day for leftovers. I would order from here again just based on the crispy coating on the chicken. I'm a crunch fiend. read more

While at Costco, I had a craving for Chinese food and China Spring was the closest place. A terrific find! It is a standard Chinese carryout joint, but what makes it a five-star is the friendly service and they were following all COVID protocols. I absolutely have to leave a review. This is the place to get Chinese food. I like the friend chicken wings and plain fried rice. The chicken is always crispy and flavorful. The Lo Mein is always very delicious. Everything is very well seasoned, well prepared, and very tasty! This is my favorite Chinese spot and I always recommend it! Awesome! read more

This place used to be my go to place for Chinese delivery. They have a pretty good Sesame Chicken and other items. One thing that really started to annoy was that no matter when I ordered or what I ordered it took an hour to get it delivered...every time! I go in sometimes for carry-out and once it was early lunch time in the winter and the heat was not even on. Granted I'm only in there for a few minutes but it's nice to get out of the cold...nope. All the employees and the cooks inside had coats on. They also removed the soup from the dinner combos! It used to be rice, soup, and egg roll. I have since moved on and found better Chinese in the area, but China Spring is still better that most in the area. read more

I had the fried dumplings. They were pretty good. But the General Tso Chicken was sweet, no heat. It was ok.

It has all of the staples of a Chinese take out - chicken wings combo platters, steak & cheese, etc. The best thing about them? They accept credit cards, which is a God sent for people like moi who NEVER carry cash and use their debit cards to buy a $1.29 bottle of soda. Ordered delivery, waited one hour for delivery, received a phone call stating my order was being cancelled because the restaurant was busy and backed up. By this time it was already 8 p.m. and I had to order from another place and still had to wait almost another hour for food. Had China Spring honored my order to start with, this would not have been an issue. This is our go-to place for Chinese takeout. The food is good, and the prices are really good. They have lunch specials that are about $6 for an entree and soda or soup or eggroll. Their dinner platters are a great deal too. I have had multiple chicken and steak entrees and enjoyed them all. My wife likes their Schezwan greenbeans. Their soups are great, I prefer the wonton. We haven't found a better quality chinese take out/delivery place in Glen Burnie, and certainly not a cheaper one. read more

China Spring is the Closest chinese delivery to the work place. Delivery Driver on 11/18/13 was mad because I had exact change & tried to cheat me. He started yelling & threw $$ at me.
