Good food. The food is not the problem. Despite Texas being back open again, there is NO reason to cram everyone into one small area of the restaurant while the rest goes unused. People coughing, sneezing, and hacking...no masks...No dividers between tables. We stopped eating and left. read more

Best buffet in town, with great rolls and lots to choose from. It does not look the best out front, but looks great in the side.

This is probably the worst Asian Buffet I have ever been at. Most of the food on the line was like warm to cold and the flavors where very neutral. Nothing tasted remotely close to the descriptor label. I was going to have the Mongolian grill up until the point the grill cook drop a portion of my food into the drip tray and then scooped it out and placed it back on the grill with the rest of the uncontaminated food... needless to say I told him that I saw what he had done and that he could throw away the entire order and I walked away leaving him confused as to why I didn't want to eat it after what I watched him do. Neither my friend nor myself will ever be back and i WONT recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is very clean and welcoming. I am visiting from Las Vegas and Odessa/Midland area isn't really known for Chinese food but I found this place upon good reviews and they stand true. They're extremely rude for no reason at all it's disgusting and the food is VERY OVERPRICED FOR POOR QUALITY.

We showed up for the grand opening. The prices are very reasonable. They even have different prices for kids, which is fair. They also offer to-go boxes and charge by the weight. The lunch options were plentiful. The food looked very fresh. They have appetizers, entrees, rice, noodles, salad, sushi, and lots of desserts, including self scoop ice cream. The ice cream scoop and putting your hand into the bucket didn't seem very sanitary though. . The reason for the two stars was that nearly all of the food was room temperature. The only thing hot was the soup. I sure hope we don't get sick tonight. read more

It was good for the most part, however the fried things, crab Rangoon and sweet and sour chicken was hard to bite into. I liked everything else....but what I didn't like was that our waiter (tall with glasses) was DEFINITELY on drugs, he never asked if we wanted a refill or to have a plate taken, NNNOOOOO...instead he'll just stare down the table the whole time, making us all really uncomfortable, whenever we'd walk off, he'd IMMEDIATELY jump to the table, when we left, he LITERALLY SKIPPED TO THE TABLE like a child. He'd just reach his hand through us and grab at plates and drinks, I wanted to stab his hand with my fork. And while we're all not even half done, he comes and smacks the ticket down while I'm sitting alone (I sat alone with my cousins purse, dude looked high enough to steal) didn't even ask if we were all together or separate, which it was gonna be a 3-part ticket, but worked it to 2 checks up front to not be a bother‍. read more

We decided to give it a try always heard it was good. Well first of all the waitress was rude she didn't come by to ask for refills we would have to wait. 2nd she was trying to rush us and grab our plates as we were still trying to eat. Then came and gave us our ticket then takes the ticket to charge us more for the dinner price. As we've never been there before and didn't see anything that said lunch hours or dinner hours especially since it's a buffet. Never have we heard of them charging different prices. So we dealt with that. The. We waited to pay and she never came back around. So we left cash at the table to pay for the meal. As we're walking to our car the manager and waitress comes running asking us to pay. Well if they checked the table before coming and accusing us of walking out without paying they would have seen we paid. So we waited as they both went inside and still no one came out to let us know they found the money or even apologize for accusing us of theft. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant or would even come back. read more

I live in the rio grande valley but I work in midland. My wife and I were craving some Chinese food so we ended up googling up China Town Buffet. It had 4.2 stars out of 5 so we decided to drive from midland out here. I have to say not only was some of the food not fresh but the atmosphere was real dingy. The service wasn't really appealing either. I would have to say the experience was mediocre but maybe because I came around 6pm so I'd have to try it again when it opens. I wouldn't recommend if your out of town. Unless your a local and enjoy this restaurant. read more

Okay yes this might seem like a regular buffet and you might think it's all nasty plain buffet food. You're wrong!! Some things are regular buffet but there is a build your own whatever hibachi grill with whatever you want. & it is mind blowing especially with the spicy yum yum sauce. Can't go wrong. read more
