Surprisingly good food. Good flavor. I tried the chicken yakisoba, seasame chicken with noodles, hibachi steak, and a specialty roll. The chicken noodles are my partners go to. My favorite was the hibachi steak; there were mushrooms in it. There is good seasoning on every dish; the fried rice had good flavoring which is surprising since I'm usually not a fan of takeout fried rice sides. So I'm on my 2-week hitch and I'm craving some decent Chinese food and they just happened to move me to Midland Tx away from Colorado. So my coworker said let's hit this place up, they're pretty good. We arrive and it's in a Lil Strip shopping center, nothing unassuming. We walk in and nothing fancy but they have a decent assortment of sushi rolls and their hibachi offerings. I ordered the Jalapeño Combo with fried rice, chicken, steak, and shrimp and an order of egg rolls. My food is handed to me and I get to work and proceed to begin with the egg rolls; they're your typical egg rolls, nothing fancy at all or anything to make them stand out but they are tasty. On to my main course and it's pretty well stocked with fried rice, veggies, and proteins. The plate was flavorful and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the shrimp, they were a good size and not the cocktail variety. They were meaty and good as were the chicken and steak pieces. This place was right by my hotel. I wanted sushi, but this place looked off putting. Not much was open, so I finally relented and ordered. I was extremely surprised. Everything flavorful and hit the spot for a quick delicious meal. I will 100% order the Godzilla roll again. Also, when I went to pick up, the place was packed. I order food to go here about once a month, Hibachi Chicken & rice. It is pretty good, but it could use a little spicing up. I usually put some Polynesian sauce on it when I get home. There is enough food to last for 3 meals. Service is great! I call 10-15 minutes ahead and it's always ready when I get there. They always include utensils (plastic). read more

Tried this place out with a friend today and was not disappointed. From the name of the restaurant I thought it would be like a take out Place, it turns our to be a pretty nice restaurant with plenty tables to dine in. They serve their food in a take out container so you're good to go anytime. Food is fairly priced with an open kitchen so you could see how they cook. I ordered the chicken fried rice, dragon roll, and gyoza. Gyoza was ok, just like one of those frozen gyoza package you can buy from store. Dragon roll was good. Salmon on top with shrimp tempura in the middle. They are very generous with the shrimp and it tasted amazing. Fried rice had bits and pieces of onion. Looked like all the chicken was on top and rice at bottom. Either way It tasted good. The only thing that bothered me was the kid that ran around the Dining area and kitchen. Extremely disappointed with shrimp portions. I ordered a side of chicken and a side of shrimp to go and two orders of tuna sashimi for here. The Latina lady at the register was kind and helpful. The bathroom was horrible and no cleaning service is in use. The sashimi didn't come with rice but was caringly prepared and presented and the portions of tuna were great. The tuna was still a bit frozen but it was fresh and sushi grade. The sides were ready before the sashimi and sat there cooling off waiting for someone to tell the sushi chef my order. The chicken was a full cup and the shrimp was a hollow cup with an impression of a side of shrimp in it. I brought it back and the Asian lady who was the boss said "only 8 pieces in side order." I said that was not a good deal as I thought I was getting a cup of shrimp for the 8 dollars they charge. Well if I knew I was paying 1 dollar per shrimp I would have gone to HEB and made it myself. She refused to top off the cup and I told her I am very dissatisfied and won't come back. She didn't seem to care. What I don't understand is how I can get 2 giant pieces of sashimi for 3 dollars but have to pay 1 dollar per shrimp!? Clearly they don't care and will give you the stereotypical cheap chinese treatment and make themselves profit at the expense of happy customers. read more

I used the link to their website with a menu which was easier to read than the picture of a menu on yelp. When I called to order I asked for 2 onion soups. The person on the other end said ma'am we don't have onion soup. I said its on your menu, you know the one thats served with the hibachi. She said ma'am we don't serve soup with the Hibachi. First off I have never been to a Hibachi that didn't have soup and second her tone was very rude. So I told her I would look at the menu and call back. By far the worst food I've had in Midland. I don't know how this place has any positive reviews. The asparagus in my rolls was spoiled. I ordered tofu Which in the style described usually come soft with a sauce around it it had more breading and fried exterior than a bucket of Popeyes. The rolls tastes so gross. I have had grocery store sushi that far surpasses the quality of this place. The cashier barely spoke English and took much longer taking our order because she didn't understand what we wanted. The Kani is not crab meat it's just rough chopped plain imitation crab with no flavor. Ginger dressing for the salad was so watered down there was no flavor left at all.Ordered the lobster roll there was no lobster in it. Just some spicy crab on top and what looked like mushy crab or tuna on the inside. it's supposed to be grilled lobster. Decided to eat it anyway because I was so hungry just to taste the spoiled asparagus. No compensation or money back was offered of course. Left after spending $50 between two people and having nothing but disappointment and a stomachache and loss of appetite.
