Great tasting food with one fatal flaw. They absolutely will not keep the food fresh. If there is anything at all left in the pan, it will sit there until it turns into meteorites. Egg rolls and dumplings were like chewing through a baseball bat. Chicken morsels like rocks. It's such a shame that a Chinese buffet with such potential ruins the entire experience because they are too stingy to place out fresh food. read more

A couple friends and I came in here last night around 830 and noticed, when we went up to the buffett, that nearly all the trays were empty. There were a ton of waiters and kitchen staff around (only a couple of which seemed to be in a decent mood), but no one seemed to care that we were actually paying to eat at a buffet and had only 3 or 4 non-Chinese food options to choose from. China Town is the best Chinese buffet restaurant I have ever been too! I'm from Texas, and was passing through Conway. I Googled places to eat in Conway and was overwhelmed with so many good places to choose from. I decided to eat at China Town based on all the great Google Reviews. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The employees were nice and professional. The owners seemed very nice, and looked liked they enjoy running their business. They have a variety of dishes to choose from-and it is delicious. The coconut shrimp is out of this world crazy good. The California roll with caviar is rich and and fresh. They have sushami, regular sushi rolls, and a couple of other sushi dishes. The egg rolls and spring rolls were literally the best rolls I've had-crispy, but not greasy. The mandarin shrimp was amazing. They also have desert options and fruit options. The cheesecake was rich and creamy, and it was moist...like a cheesecake should be. I definitely would come back if I lived in Conway. read more

No service after first glass of tea. Didn't clear table. I make a special trip from Sherwood and have never had bad service but this one made me feel like we were getting the bum's rush while we were still eating our first trip to the buffet. It was uncomfortable and we will be thinking twice about going back. He was rushing everyone in his area. Doesn't make it better. read more

Our family has patronized this restaurant since I was quite young, ever since they were in their old location... and I have to say that hands down, I have never had Chinese Buffet that tasted better than this. Not to mention the wonderful waitstaff who are always super friendly and never forget you! (Like my Uncle Wong! lol) Another rarity here - never have I ever had sushi at a Chinese buffet that I would ever even consider eating.... except here. And it is not just passable, it would give a lot of Japanese restaurants in town a run for their money. Though the prices have gone up since their move, I can still say I think the food is worth every penny. Will eat here faithfully as long as I live in this part of the world. read more

I ate at a lot of Chinese Restaurants this was the best. I live 35 miles away and I will drive the distance to eat here. The place was clean. The food was delicious and the waiter went the extra mile to make the guests will appreciated. Grinning, keeping ours glasses filled, yet not interrupting our meal. I even saw him taking a little lady's plate, taking her by the arm and walking her to her table. 5 stars all the way!!! read more

A very nice buffet tucked into the strip mall on the east side of I-40. This was Mt first visit and I liked it. A very nice selection of just abou anything one could want in a Chinese buffet with a few Japanese goodies thrown in. The food was quite good, so if I sound critical, I'm not trying to be; I liked this place. I'll just cover the items I actually ate, although everything looked great and fresh. they had both egg rolls and spring rolls. I always go with the spring roll if I can and these were pretty good. About three bites. The hibachi rice from the Japanese section was really great. The General Tso's chicken was just right. Some might want spicier, but this was just right for middle of the road happiness for all. The sweet and sour chicken pieces were good, the sauce was a little thin though and could have used just a little bite to it's flavor. The real standout was the sesame chicken. The sauce was fantastic. The only issue was it's crunchiness. There was so much corn starch in the chicken batter it came out on the hard side. Don't get me wrong, I liked it a lot and it was very good just a little on the hard side. Some of that corn starch could go into the sweet and sour to thicken it, but thats just one cooks opinion. Fantastic staff and at least one regular. The lady seating behind me was obviously a regular as the waitstaff kept asking her where her children where. That tells me they have a consistent and well liked product. I liked it too. Clean restrooms too. I'd go back and will. read more
