Unfortunately this place is the only Chinese restaurant that makes beef and broccoli how I like which is the only reason I continue to come back. BUT the front desk girl is rude as hell, and for whatever reason they have a personal vendetta about condiment sauces. What Chinese place doesn't include sweet & sour with crab Rangoons ?? I don't mind asking knowing I have to and paying extra, but I do mind the attitude and bouts of grief when I ask for that and duck sauce. I called ahead to ask if egg foo young was available. They said yes that it was available, and I said I would order in person. I got ready and drove over right away, and they told me they would not cook it after 6pm (it was about 6:10 when I got there). They did not tell me over the phone that they would stop serving it at a certain time. I asked if they would make an exception since they assured me over the phone that it was available, but the cashier just said "no". Rude and unusually poor customer service. Good American style Chinese food. I always grab my order to go and they get it right every time. The folks who run the place are very nice and accommodating. Its always been very clean, which is a rarity at Chinese joints. The only reason I dropped a star is the fried rice - not the worst I ever had, but it's fair at best - pretty bland. The Kung Pao and Veggies in Garlic sauce is very good. I always ask for extra spicy and they zip it up nicely! I work in the area often and keep this place in my rotation. Can't go wrong. read more

Great little Chinese place. The food is excellent, hot, and tasty. My crab rangoons and egg rolls were nice and crunchy (not soggy and full of grease like a lot of Chinese restaurants). I would definitely recommend the lo mein and sesame chicken. I just wish I had discovered China Taste sooner! read more

We found this place a few weeks ago. I wish that we had noticed it sooner, being kind of hidden down behind casa Mexicana. The couple that runs China taste is very polite. The place is clean. I'm guessing a relatively new establishment for Maumelle area. The food is cooked traditionally served up American style! The flavor is not as spicy as I expected, but that might be to cater to the local clientele. I ordered Beef Broccoli and Combo Fried Rice. I ordered through Waitr and my Crab Rangoon showed up with nothing but the fried wrapper. Other than that it was fine.

Fine food but they messed up my order. I proceeded to call them, to tell them they messed up my order, but they told me I was wrong and that they were right. When I had my receipt and it was clear I was charged... not very customer friendly. Will not be going there again. read more
